I recently joined Hannah for 2 packed days of learning. On day 1 I joined Hannah and 4 other photographers to learn about birth photography with the opportunity to shoot a mock birth, which replicated a home birth. As well as being challenged to work in different lighting conditions and discreetly moving around the room to capture those beautiful connections, we had 121 time with the model and Hannah for our portfolio building shots. In the afternoon we had an education section where Hannah talked us through working with birth clients, preparation for the birth, potential scenarios that could unfold in birth and how to deliver the final gallery. On day 2 I had my own branding session shot by Hannah. She was quite simply GREAT. Despite being a photographer, I thought I’d feel stiff in front of the camera but Hannah completely put me at ease, we had music, we laughed and we got some amazing shots. What really struck me was how Hannah captured my personality, like she had known me for years. After this we were joined by a model for a shoot-a-long. Hannah taught me posing for maternity shoots, how to work as the lighting changes outdoors, and what to look out for when shooting different angles (and much much more). Finally we grabbed a coffee…. And we literally screamed at every image!!! And we ran through Hannah’s editing flow. If you are thinking of enhancing your skills, portfolio, branding… DO THIS you won’t regret it…. I’ve posted some of my images from the day on my IG and have already received lots of enquires and bookings.

Hannah has taken some truly beautiful photos of us that we will always treasure. She is kind and attentive. As well as the lovely family portraits, she took care to capture some of the more subtle details of our family life that can be easily overlooked. I really appreciated that. Her photos are in every room in our house and we love them all!

Hannah has so perfectly captured the most incredible time in our life and given us photographs we will treasure forever. She became a friend in the process, as well as a professional we will no doubt turn to many times in the future to capture stages of our life as a family- I’ve already told her she will be capturing our next birth!! Cannot recommend her enough- thoughtful, responsive, funny and incredibly talented.

I recently had a shoot-a-long mentorship day with Hannah B and it would not be an exaggeration to say that it was one of the most transformative moments I've had as a photographer. I literally transformed my way of shooting in leaps and bounds in one day in a few hours what I did in a few months since starting my business. Everything was so incredibly on point from model selection to location to discussing and scouting the area just before the shoot started to the detailed guidance and support I received during the shoot which allowed me to be guided but also have the opportunity to completely lead. We also then had a follow up portfolio review of the session and the feedback was amazing and I will make so many changes now and adjustments from what I've learned. Hannah is amazing, she is so down to earth and makes it all look so easy but in fact it's easy because she's incredibly talented and her years of experience is all there to serve you as much as possible and I just loved it so much!!!

Where to even start. Hannah is absolutely amazing! I have admired her work for years even before meeting her. This year I had the opportunity to learn from her at a birth photography workshop. I have learnt so much from that one day and even been able to expand my portfolio. Hannah is so supportive and an incredible fountain of knowledge. I hope to have her capture my own birth in the future. There's no one I would trust more!

I've loved Hannah's work since I first saw her amazing maternity shoots, so when I saw she was offering branding sessions I knew she was the one to take some snaps for my website! We were lucky enough to have Hannah attend our homebirth in not one but two capacities. As a Birth Photographer and as a Doula. It was a huge decision for us to invite someone into our birth space, I was really worried about upsetting the calm status quo with another person but if you’ve ever met Hannah you’ll know she’s one of the warmest, calmest, friendliest and most nurturing souls on the planet and we were really excited to have her on board. She arranged a meet up at the end of my pregnancy so that she could meet my partner and my son, she took some BEAUTIFUL maternity and family photos and alleviated any concerns we had. She reassured us that she would help with entertaining our eldest son as this was on our mind and made sure my husband knew she was on hand to help with anything he needed so he could focus on me. One of my biggest worries was that my first labour was fast and we were expecting another quick one. I live in Bristol and Hannah lives in Wales and somehow she managed to get to us in really good time. During the remainder of my labour and birth Hannah was the reassuring presence I didn’t know I needed. I barely noticed her taking photos and she provided me with gentle support and encouragement to birth my baby naturally into the pool. Advocating for me and being an awesome cheerleader. After the birth Hannah made every effort to keep me comfortable, bring me drinks, make me feel like a goddess, look after my son, make him breakfast and advocate for my needs all whilst documenting the entire process. She helped clean up once the midwives had left, pack down the birth pool, put a few loads of washing on and really just took the heat off of my husband so that he could be present in the moment. She checked in regularly after the birth and delivered us the most memorable gallery of images that we will treasure forever, truly a thing of wonder. It will always be one of the best investments we’ve made she truly made the whole experience wonderful, stress and worry free. We are eternally grateful to Hannah for everything she is and everything she does, she is an incredible doula and photographer. If you are in any doubt about booking a wizard like hybrid Photographer/Doula like Hannah please let this be your sign from the universe to just do it!

Not only is Hannah one of the most talented photographers in the UK, she is such a special person. We have hired Hannah to capture special moments in our lives and she delivers images that I never knew were even possible but they capture the love in our lives and with our children so perfectly. Hannah immediately put our children at ease and knew how to get the best out of them. They were even asking if they could play with her ‘every day’! We will treasure the photos and the memories that we made on our day with Hannah for the rest of our lives. Because of Hannah, my children will know that that I was there, that we had so much fun together, that I held them tightly and loved them unconditionally. I snapped up a slot at Hannah’s mock birth photography workshop as soon as I saw it go live and it didn’t disappoint. Hannah is just as she appears online; approachable, hilarious & extremely knowledgeable. The shoot was super relaxed which took the pressure off and settled us attendees who had all different skill levels. Hannah’s talk was incredibly in-depth and I feel very grateful that I was a part of it & was privy to SO much information. 100% moneys worth.

Hannah’s mock birth workshop was just incredible… perfectly pitched for both experienced photographers and those just finding their feet. The setting, the model and Hannah herself made everything feel effortless (although I’m sure it wasn’t!) and it was such a welcoming environment where I felt comfortable asking questions. Hannah is just a wealth of knowledge, experience and has such a lovely warmth it makes learning and creating alongside her an unforgettable experience.

I was first attracted to Hannah’s work because of the feeling I got when I saw her photography. A feeling of beauty, raw and just downright magical! I always loved her editing style so I purchased some of her presets which I use almost daily. These have helped me to develop my own style and get a better understanding of how I want my work to feel. I decided to do a Mentorship with Hannah as I wanted to learn more. I feel I have endless support, someone always fighting in my corner and a new friend! It’s super flexible which works for my lifestyle as a Mama and business owner. I have also met some other amazing photography ladies on this journey and it’s all because of Hannah!

Hannah is by far one of the best photographers I have ever worked with. She is such a calming influence which allowed us to truly be ourselves in our photos and get better results than we could have imagined. Nothing was too posed which meant when we got our gallery back everything was natural and we could really see ourselves in the photos. It was so lovely to connect with Hannah and work with her as my birth photography mentor. We were able to find a time that worked for both of us in two very different time zones (I'm based in MT, USA) and both of us juggling a baby and a toddler during this pandemic. Hannah spent so much quality time with me reviewing my work, sharing in-depth her work process, nerding out about birth and photography. It was so fun connecting! Hannah is also very genuine and real. She shared some of her successes and learning moments. She had some great gear recommendations which I immediately purchased and have been playing with ever since. She created a wonderful community with a group of her mentees and it has been such a wonderful safe space to continue to explore and inspire each other. Now when I get excited about a shoot she is the first person that comes to mind that I want to share it with. Hannah is incredible. Her passion is absolutely insane. She’s fun, kind, caring and just an all round superhuman. Hannah took maternity photos for me while I was pregnant and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The pictures came out beautiful and I absolutely love her style of photography. Not only were the pictures amazing but Hannah was also a joy to work with. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable and empowered which made the whole experience even better. I attended Hannah's mock home birth photography workshop and it was such an amazing experience. Hannah is so lovely, and incredibly professional and knowledgable. For her to host a workshop like this (the first of its kind in the UK) was incredibly helpful and informative for any aspiring birth photographer! Hannah made sure that we all got the most out of the day, that each of us had one to one time with the model. We were encouraged to ask any questions, and I felt so supported and encouraged by the entire experience of the day. Hannah's work is truly inspiring, and I cannot thank her enough for doing this workshop!

Hannah has been my photographic mentor and has helped me transform my photography from extremely average to setting up my own business in just a few months. She is kind, knowledgeable and so passionate about her art, there is a lot to be learnt from this lady. I attended Hannah’s homebirth photography workshop back in the early summer time and I’m still on a high from it! It was truly inspirational. I’m fairly new to photography so felt a little nervous attending as an amateur but I felt totally at ease as soon as I arrived…Hannah is so warm and welcoming. Fully comprehensive information, professional advice, a whole lot of questions and comprehensive answers from Hannah in a very friendly environment. I'm from Poland and I was very afraid that I wouldn't understand something, I would be too shy but Hannah gives a lot of support and a lot of conctual information. Thank you Hannah :)

Hannah is such a wonderful human being and a very talented photographer. Her images speak for themselves. I cannot say good enough things about her. She was more than a birth photographer to me. She played the role of birthing partner, friend and a fun 'auntie' to my older kids as well. You will 100% not regret booking her. She's got you covered.

I cannot recommend Hannah highly enough!! I’ve had 2 sessions with Hannah - one at 30 weeks pregnant and the other at 3 days postpartum - and both were wonderful. At the maternity shoot she gently encouraged my partner to get involved and I’m so so glad that she did. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of the camera, especially being intimate, but Hannah managed to capture our relationship in the most natural way. Then our little girl arrived and we didn’t want anyone other than Hannah to take our newborn photographs. She came on day 3, which was a tough day for us. My milk had just come in with force and baby wasn’t having any of it. It was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster! But Hannah came and was nothing but supportive, offering some gentle advice but also giving us space. And again, captured the most magical photos of our little family. There really aren’t many people we’d allow into our sacred space with a 3 day old baby, family included! But not at one point did I wish she wasn’t there, which is a real testament to her demeanour. As I said, I really cannot recommend Hannah highly enough. The quality of her work alone is incredible; but the experience of working with her makes it that bit more special.
