I
love
Cardiff
airport
for
its
convenience,
itβs
simplicity
and
as
it
serves
Wales.
I
have
given
it
five
stars
for
this
purpose.
Sadly,
it
is
just
a
textbook
example
of
the
limitations
of
an
asset
in
government
ownership;
particularly
that
of
the
Welsh
Government.
The
whole
model
is
uninspiring,
uncompetitive,
inefficient
and
lacks
investment.
In
direct
contrast
to
Bristol
airport
which
has
gone
from
strength
over
the
last
decade,
this
airport
failed
to
win
new
custom,
secure
new
routes
and
at
its
most
basic
level
fails
to
serve
the
people
of
South
and
West
Wales
as
a
transport
facility.
This
building
it
a
material
reminder
of
Welsh
labours
unrelenting
mission
to
constrain
the
economic
prospects
of
Wales
through
failing
to
embrace
any
sense
of
entrepreneurialism
and
commercial
acumen.
