I went to the Sheffield clinic and had the same bad experience that is described by another review. The consultant was pushy and insulting, he seemed more interested in scaring me into paying for unnecessary treatment than in my health. He also didn't give me key medical advice about using a DEET-based insect repellent or bringing medicine for travellers diarrhoea. When I eventually received the one vaccination that I actually needed, my allergy status was not double checked. The service was convenient, as I was able to book a last minute appointment but overall I would recommend seeing your GP instead. And if you do need to use this clinic, make sure you do your own research and don't spend more than you need to!

I turned up today for an 11am appointment which I had made online last night. After almost an hour of waiting, the consultant saw me. She was very apologetic about the wait, but it would appear that the online booking system is not coordinated with the other booking systems they have. With the information to hand I was recommended to have three courses of the vaccination for Tick Borne Encephalitis and paid today for all three courses (£180). Only once I got home did my wife explain that for our one year of travel that only two courses are needed. It wasn't ever explained to me during the consultation that a third course of TB was superfluous to my needs. I rang up to ask for a refund of £60 since this was clearly a case of being mis-sold a third course which I don't need. Following advice from her manager I was told that a refund wouldn't be possible. Apparently only "full courses" are sold and in this case a full course is 3 jabs of Tick Borne Encephalitis. Then, I learned from my wife that when she had been, it had been agreed that she and my kids only needed 2 Tick Borne Encephalitis vaccinations (not three). And that is what she paid for. This clinic is a business only interested in getting profit. Customer care and satisfaction is clearly a low priority. Go armed with information of exactly what you need. They will try their best to sell you vaccinations you don't need.

My gf and I came for our travel vax today. Place is easy to find, friendly staff and our nurse Fran was fantastic. She put us at ease and explained what was and was not essential for our upcoming trips. Recommend this clinic for all your travel health needs. Top marks!

Can’t fault them. Super easy and quick to get through on phone or book online. I needed a range of vaccinations for short notice travel to Africa. Had appointments available same day or next day. I also swapped my appointment on the day quickly for an earlier one to suit me. Staff friendly, professional and efficient and I got all the advice I needed. I don’t know how price compares to others but they’re transparent as all costs are on their website. No hidden costs and all discussed before committing.

Made an appt for the same day with the Sheffield traveldoc and got instructions to get there which was very straightforward from my home. They’re friendly, professional, super efficient, and we’re very patient with me and my multiple questions. They offered me a same day appointment when I was late for my booking. I had two appointments with two different staff members. Both were very knowledgeable, friendly and didn't push me to get anything I didn't need (they eventually made no money out of me as I didn't need any vaccinations). Booking was easy and can be done without much notice. Highly recommended.

Just brilliant. Easy to book a same day/next day appointment, really good advice (including advice about which vaccinations I didn't really need for my particular trips), pretty painless injections and sensible pricing. I guess nobody actively wants to get travel jabs, but when I next need them I won't hesitate to go back to the Sheffield traveldoc.

Impressed. The booking process was straightforward and I managed to get a same day appointment. Fran was great - very professional and gave me lots of useful information. Friendly staff, good value, central location and comfortable and clean premises. Easy to book online and no complications on the day. Dr Amy Watson was very helpful and professional. Our yellow fever injections were quick and painless. Just a little bit of a wait past our appointment time but I would definitely recommend.

This is the second time we visited the clinic. We were in and out in half an hour. The entire team were friendly and professional. We felt very comfortable and reassured. We certainly were only recommended what we needed for our Africa trip and our consultant ensured that we weren’t over sold on malaria tablets by consolidating the packs between the two of us. The injections were painless. A day later we felt like we’d been thumped in the arm, but this is nothing to do with the experienced staff: this is a normal side effect. We were given some very useful advice about our trip and feel reassured about staying as healthy as possible while we travel. We were also very grateful for the sterile kit to take with us. We would recommend the clinic for anyone needing travel injections.

Avoid going into the boardroom where they try to sell you things that you will never need! Totally unnecessary pitch I just wanted by basic travel vaccines and be out of there. So if you know what you need tell them before they try the hard sell. Otherwise staff pleasant.

Excellent service. My daughter needed the hepatitis b vaccine for work. After phoning a lot of different clinics Travel Doc was the only one to have the Hep B vaccine in stock. I was offered an appointment for the next day. Dr Bobby was very friendly and efficient an excellent course of injections and blood test and certification. I happily recommend.

Attended the Traveldoc clinic yesterday and as always the service was first class, very friendly and very knowledgable. There is always a wait at traveldoc and that's to be expected because they're overwhelmed with the spillover from the NHS who have stopped offering a lot of the vaccinations that we need for our trips abroad. They always offer a proper consultation and discussion of the vaccines that are needed and are sensitive to the cost issue too. For medical knowledge, friendly and efficient staff and all round experience, this clinic is streets ahead of others that I've been to (including a number of pharmacies). 100% recommended.

Rang & made enquiry at 4:30pm Thursday & had appointment 9:15am Friday. Courteous pleasant, professional and friendly service. 15 minute discussion with nurse & away by 9:30am with up to date holiday jabs. Well impressed.

Stay away from this firm, guys. Came out in tears. My daughter came for consultation about injections she needed to go to Vietnam. Decided to do the major ones including Hepatitis A. Was offered to do a combined one for the price of Hep A which was clearly discussed with the nurse. When we came down to the reception, they were trying to make us pay for a combined one. Besides, the nurse said we have to come back for one more Hip B injection as part of the combined. As it turned out, you have to come back for 2 more and have to pay extra fee for each. Were sent up back to the nurse to discuss the misunderstanding. The nurse did not even want to see us. Instead, she were talking to the receptionist about us disrespectfully. Should have gone to Superdrug where the staff are more honest. So my advice - simply stay away.

I came in to Regent Street Clinic Sheffield (aka Traveldoc) a naive traveller, nervous about his first long-haul trip (Inca Trail), and worried by conflicting advice regarding the necessary vaccinations. I left reassured and confident. This place is a gem. Best half hour you could spend if you're in anything like the same boat. Straight down the line, open, essential advice. I urgently needed - hello vaccination centre and looked around Sheffield this was the best place. Affordable prices and amazing service . The reception to start weigh were a star and Vic was lovely shared all the information of where I am traveling, had more information of what the vaccine will do really amazing place and the service is exception I would recommend this place in the whole of Sheffield.
