Expensive, but very secure and safe. Light and bright with decent sized spaces and plenty of disabled bays. Can pay by card so you don’t have to use an app. Very easy to get to and convenient city centre location.

Very well located car park in the city centre of Sheffield. It’s very secure and clean. The parking bays are wide and easy to park. The entry and exit is secure so those who haven’t parked can not enter. It’s a little bit expensive but overall is value for money.

Very clean and tidy car park in a very central location in Sheffield. The entrance is a 3 floor spiral which is entertaining but you have to be very careful!

Always use. Safe clean and well maintained.

Very clean, decent and good location car park. Reasonably priced, could find cheaper spaces nearby. Quite nauseating on your drive up to the parking bays.

Great value for money and very clean and tidy inside. They have huge parking spaces and the barcode ticket entry system means people can’t just wander into the car park as easily. Left my car for 3 days

I parked here for 5 months in the summer of 2021 and always had a good experience. Always plenty of spaces free, the barrier system worked well and when I needed help through the intercom I received it quickly. I paid for the evenings and weekends ticket (allowing me to park from 5pm-9am weekdays and all weekend) and for £120 per month that was a really good deal!

Clean and well lit, but it's very expensive and even though they encourage you to pre-book, you can't pre-book a disabled space. On the website it says you can use a normal space with a blue badge, but this is no use if you have a wheelchair as there is no room to get the wheelchair to the side of the car.

A well lit car park, located close to the City Centre, with helpful prepayment option. The entrance & exit is awful though - a sequence of tight spirals. Neither fun nor user friendly.

Great for city centre and theatre. Very clean, good spaces. But warning the spiral entrance and exit ramp goes forever and is a bit much if you have balance issue or stuff with dizziness!

Useful when going to theatre although is expensive even with the theatre discount. Can be busy so often have to go to very upper levels. Always feel safe going back to car here though, secure and well lit

We have used Q park in other cities before, so we didn't hesitate to use this one in Sheffield. Again, we had a really good experience we booked online at a reasonable price. We were able to easily find it and were very close to the theatre we drove straight in and found a spot and because we paid online we didn't have to wait in the long queue to pay at the ticket machine so we were able to drive straight out. Would definitely use again.

Appears to be a safe and secure car park. We left our car here for a few days whilst we stayed at a hotel nearby. Only issue we faced was when it came to payment. Had to call assistance as the machine froze, however this was resolved pretty quickly. I would use this car park again, despite the quite high price.

Pre booking and auto reg recognition entry worked fine. Evening special around £6.50 from 6pm- 2am Long spiral drive up before you get to the car park floors but once up there it feels safe. Pedestrian access is with a bar code on your phone. Recommended.

Feel totally ripped off by this car park. Wanting to visit the gallery in Sheffield, this car park was suggested by the gallery website as they offer 50% off. However, the car park itself encourages you to pay by contactless debit/credit card as you enter. So, when you return there's no way of using the discount voucher. £8.10 for two and a half hours!

The best place to park in Sheffield for the city centre. If you download the q-park app you will receive benefits and discounts for parking and selected retailers. Plenty of space between bays. Clean safe and secure with ample light. Lifts available for all floors. Just one point to note you will need to park on the higher floors unless you are VIP disabled or parent and child parking.

The most riduclously priced car park outside of London or an airport I've ever visited. Q Park have responded saying they are competitive for the facilities they offer. They offer a car parking bay, the same as any other car park, nothing more.

Easily accessible secure car parking. Clean facilities. Convenient for Peace Gardens, Town Hall, Winter Gardens, etc. Not the cheapest but well worth the money.

Having parked here several times before I had an awful experience on Saturday 9th December. Similar to others, no indication of the car park actually being full. I drove to the 8th floor where I had to turn around and go back down. Every level was full of cars trying to find a space and people were queuing all the way up the ramp. They had no opportunity to turn around until they got to the first parking level. We were late arriving for our concert at Sheffield City Hall. Very difficult to enter the auditorium and find your seat once the orchestra had started to play and unfair to those already seated.

Great parking feel safe at night clean, lifts always work but you certainly pay for it.

In city centre, very convenient for theatres and Millennium Galleries. First level is all for disabled. Seems well lit, safe and secure.

I parked my car here during the World Snooker Championship and found it to be a safe, clean and modern place to park. The spaces are quite tight but that's par for the course. Happily recommended.

Excellent car park. Clean and good value for money

Safe place for car parking. But very high curbs and twisted pathway to parking. Risk for bigger cars to damage alloys.

Horrible spiral ramp to get in or out, hate it, but where else can you park in central Sheffield? The car park on the other side of the dual carriageway is a nightmare and looks as if it's falling down.

I had a bunch of little queries and issues. The guys all went out of their way to help and resolved everything. Excellent people and real proper customer service. Thank you Terry and all-sorry not to have all your names.

I like the q-parks for the security and cleanliness. Charles Street was one of the more interesting ones with the spiral lane but they make it very convenient access to the city centre.

First time use of a Q-Park and won’t be the last. Easy pre-booking experience. Great sized spaces. A little confusing on exit when the ticket machine asked me to pay, scanned my barcode and everything was fine

We drove to the car park to enable us to go to the Lyceum theatre for the panto with our grandchildren. We drove straight in and went right to the top floor but there wasn't one parking spot available. Numerous Cars were following us and all had to turn round at the top which wasn't easy!!!! We ended up driving all the way down and had to buzz for assistance to exit. WE MISSED THE PANTO AND HAD TO GO HOME WITH TWO VERY DISAPPOINTED CHILDREN. Why did they let us in if there were no spaces???? Very annoyed to say the least.

Fine as car parks go, clean and well looked after.

Very clean car park but young kids were running through it and were throwing objects off the top floor to pedestrians outside. Two females almost hit and a second hit the ground whilst we were talking to them and another pedestrian. About 1815 19/7)2022. When we returned the pre-paid parking barcode didn't work. The assistant sorted it for us.

Good, central car park but expensive at 16 quid a day. Easy to find though and local to the town centre

On 29th October, I went to an event at Firth Hall and the recommendation was to park at this car park. I feel scammed and can’t actually quite believe how expensive it was. We were in Sheffield for 3 hours including the event time of an hour and I was charged just under £12.00. I have been to big cities like London, Bristol, Lincoln, York, etc and have NEVER had to pay so much. We made a big mistake and would recommend people really do their research before parking here at all.

Beware at busy times. We were able to pass through the entry barriers when, as it turned out, there were no available spaces. Got as far as floor 9 and ran into the back of a queue of people waiting for others on the higher floors to leave before they could park and had to do a U-turn as did many others. Had tickets for the theatre nearby for which we had paid £66 that my wife and I were consequently unable to attend and were charged for the privilege of getting back out of the car park. Disgraceful.

We arrived at the car park having travelled from Nottingham. It seemed to be the nearest place to park for the city centre where we had planned to meet friends at a restaurant. Upon arrival we drove into the entrance and realised that we were in a long line of about thirty cars which for most of the time was stationary as we travelled up the circular ramp. Numerous cars were joining us from behind. A constant stream of vehicles was also coming down the ramp, and numerous drivers were informing us that there were no spaces left. We had no option but to continue to the top of the car park and then join the queue to go down again. There were no signs at any point to say that the car park was full and we wasted 30 minutes in the pointless exercise of going inside this car park and exiting again, finding ourselves considerably late for our meal. We found an alternative car park nearby. We cannot recommend use of Charles Street car park in any way.
