I really enjoyed learning with Laura, in the stone setting class, learnt new skills in a chilled out workshop faciltated by very calm and clear tuition; and i came away with a lovely necklace which looks pretty professional!

It was a really enjoyable afternoon with lots of choice. Laura was very helpful and I learnt a lot. The workshop was a Christmas present from my Aunt and I'm really happy with my earrings(I made 2 pairs) Thank you from Daisy

I recently attended two courses at the Hampshire School of Jewellery in Basingstoke - I had a wonderful day making a necklace and staking rings. Laura has a great workshop and is extremely helpful and patient with everyone on the course. The pieces I made I will be wearing going forward.

I would highly recommend the making a set of silver stacking rings class. For a complete novice I was so pleased with the 3 rings I made. The 3 hours whizzed by, it was fun and very relaxing working away in the workshop. Laura was so helpful and made the learning very easy. A lovely few hours with my daughter.

A huge thank you for such an enjoyable day learning how to make jewellery with silver clay (beginner's silver clay jewellery making workshop). I honestly didn't think I would make anything even halfway decent (I am not naturally artistic!) but Laura made it all so easy and relaxed ... all the help and support I needed but without taking over (always a delicate balance). I also have very arthritic hands so for anyone else with a similar problem ... don't worry, the silver clay is very easy to work with and Laura is so incredibly helpful if there are any "fiddly" bits you need help with. Thank you Laura, you deserve every success ... and I'll be back for another workshop soon!

Laura was a brilliant teacher, I took the earring making class. She explained everything clearly, made it all seem simple and broke all the sets down into small bits. I really enjoyed the class and came out with a lovely pair of earrings too! Would definitely reccomend.

I have done pendant making workshop in Hampshire School of Jewellery with lovely Lora. I enjoyed it very much, the was step by step workshop and Lora showed and explained everything very simple and easy. Good for beginners like me and also for people who already done silver make jewellery before.

My mum and I had a wonderful afternoon crafting rings on Saturday. Well, I made a ring, my mum adapted her ring into a pendant for a necklace with the help of Laura who had no problem with amending what we had actually booked to do. The space is bright and cheerful, the instructions very clear, and the whole afternoon was fantastic. Strongly recommended.

Literally couldn't recommend this enough! Me and my Mum did the stacking ring class and it was amazing!! We came away with 3 beautiful rings that were completely personalised and felt like a real achievement, but we also came away with such great memories and joy after the workshop!

We had a lovely afternoon making a set of 3 stacking rings! Laura took us step by step through the first ring and then let us do the next 2 at our own pace/order. She was very professional and easily helped all of us individually and we didn’t feel like we were hanging around waiting! I attended a stacking rings course and am thrilled with the rings I made. Laura has a great workshop and is friendly and welcoming. She's very relaxed yet clear with her instructions. The class of about 10 was small enough to get individual support but large enough to create a friendly and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I had the most amazing afternoon at the Hampshire school of jewellery. I chose the stacking ring course. Our host was Laura and she is the most patient, kind and gentle person I’ve ever met, she’s just wonderful! You instantly feel at ease with her. The course is explained in small steps and there is help for you all the way through. I liked that we were given several options of designs to work on, so I could choose which I liked for my style. When I arrived I was convinced I wouldn’t be able to make anything decent but by the end of the 3 hours, I had 3 gorgeous rings that I was so proud of, that I got a little teary. I highly recommend this course either for yourself or as a gift for someone else. I will be booking on to future courses to try making different things. Thank you Laura for a wonderful experience.

As a training manager, I tend to come away from learning experiences with a strong opinion. My strong opinion here is that Laura is fantastic at her job and that her prices are very reasonable. I can’t wait to go back for a full course having now done an afternoon one! I still can’t believe I came away with two pieces I actually want to wear!

I booked myself onto the stone setting ring making course as it was something I had always wanted to do and it was brilliant. I had a fantastic 4 day beginners silver jewellery course at Hampshire School of Jewellery! I learnt an incredible amount and by the end of the course I was making my own pieces. Laura was a fab teacher, a perfect balance of tutoring and individual work! I completed the 2 hour silver bangle making course in early December - Laura is a great teacher being both knowledgeable and informative. The classes are relaxed and enjoyable, it was great to refresh some old silver-smithing knowledge and to learn a few new tips! The studio is very well equipped with each person having a fully dedicated work-station and tools. Would definitely book again for a different class.

I had such an amazing time on the Intensive Beginners Silversmith Course. Laura was incredibly informative, professional, friendly and offered guidance and support throughout the whole course. The workshop was well set up, safe and had all the tools you could possibly need. I learnt many new skills that I can now include in my jewellery designs and I can't wait to put them to use!

A most wonderful day out with the kids. We’ve done a few craft courses and this was among the best. Kids said it was the most fun they’d ever had on a course. Well organised. Relaxing. Lovely instructor and beautiful new facilities with lots of parking and great lighting. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic workshop making a gemstone ring. Laura had a great set-up with all the tools and facilities and explained the processes step-by-step so it’s really clear and the best part is coming away with a fab new bit of jewellery and knowing you have made it yourself! Can’t wait to return 😍
