Male changing room seems to be permanently locked . When opened by the store assistant for me , I then found that the changing room is small and dark inside with stickers all over the mirror - so had to leave my stuff inside and look in the main mirror outside of the changing room. The changing room door then self locked so had to wait for a man to stop flirting with the shop assistant for 5 minutes to get back inside to have access to my clothes and was left walking around the store in a full hollister tracksuit with no shoes on. On top of this , the male who seemed to be in charge spent the majority of his time on his phone whilst leaning against the side. When anyone asked him a question he took great pride in saying that they didn’t have it in stock but the great news was that there was stock in their warehouse and could get it delivered to their door. Poor experience , never again.

Lady who helped me with picking out clothes was very friendly and helpful, would recommend especially on a sale day

I've been to the Hollister in Reading a few times, and I've always been disappointed with the lack of sizes in stock. I'm a large, and I've rarely been able to find anything in my size. Even when I do find something, it's usually the last one in stock. I've also noticed that the store doesn't seem to get regular deliveries. I've been in there a few times when they've been completely out of stock of a particular item, and the staff have told me that they haven't had any deliveries for a few weeks. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the store itself, or if it's a problem with Hollister as a whole. However, it's definitely frustrating as a customer. I've ended up having to order online a few times, which is not ideal. Overall, I'm not very impressed with the Hollister in Reading. The lack of sizes in stock and the irregular deliveries make it difficult to find what you're looking for. I would recommend shopping online instead, or trying a different Hollister store. Here are some suggestions for how Hollister could improve the stock levels at their Reading store: Order more stock in general, especially of popular sizes. Get regular deliveries, so that the store is never completely out of stock of an item. Make it easier for customers to find out what sizes are in stock, such as by displaying the sizes on the website or in-store. I hope that Hollister will take these suggestions into account and improve the stock levels at their Reading store.

The lighting is too dark/moody but liked the coziness of the layout Clothes as always are of high quality

Well laid out and lots of options for both men and women, prices are a little expensive in some instances but if you look around there is a range of prices across the store. I would say this is aimed at certain sizes as there wasn't much range of clothing sizes out and available. Items that were out were very nice, shop was busy, staff were nice on the till, the queue for the changing rooms is a bit of a pain as the doors self lock which is understandable but then the staff weren't available to come and keep reopening them so we ended up waiting for just 1 room instead of the 3 there.

I’ve started shopping in Hollister recently mainly because the mens jeans seem to be my current fit. They also keep their stretch through a number of washes. Just got a pair of black slim fit (not skinny) jeans in the store at The Oracle. Now for the store. It’s … different. From the outside it is more like a late night under the arches nightclub. How do I get in? Once you walk in the store is compact but jammed with clothing goodness. Can normally find at least a couple items that I ‘want’. But. Why 4 stars? Here we go. The lighting in the store is very low level/dark. I like that. But the problem is the changing rooms are dark lit. I tried on a pair of black jeans (or so I thought) and could not tell the colour. Don’t know about you but when I try something on I want to be able to see it clearly in good light. Don’t let this put you off though. I just bought arguably the best pair of black jeans I currently own with nice black washed colour and really good fit and stretchy. And all for £29.95. Wore them last night. Have now ordered another 2 pairs. Highly recommended. @Hollister - change the fitting room lighting and you get 5+ stars.

Staff were rude to my partner. Fortunately being deaf they didn't know. When talking to us the staff didn't even look at us. Deaf people do exist and sometimes they reply on reading lips. I would say to the staff here, if you don't like dealing with people, get a different job

Expensive clothing but they have a sale every now and then, which is the best time to buy. The clothes are comfortable and good quality.

Excellent customer service from Hollister Reading store. We had a faulty product purchased 4 months ago. We lost receipt but store manager Joao was able to find online usign some basic details and give us Merch card. Really impressed with his help.

I always love Hollister. I went with a friend of mine to get some middy skirts, walked out with 4 dresses 😂. Definitely got upscaled! But there clothes are goooood!

Only ever seem to have many items in sizes XS,S & M who and where are all these tiny men that I havent seen around. If you sell out of larger sizes quicker maybe get more of those rather than 20+ small items on the shelf. Staff are pretentious millenials and think they're better than they are. They make it seem like they are doing us the favour, and online returns are a rip off to charge £9 for something to be returned. Typical American tat really.

Visited your store and had a bad experience . Asked 1st lady for assistance and she ignored me . Then approached the 2nd lady and asked her if you do size L and her answer was I don't think so , without offering to go and have a look for me . If she is lazy she should have stayed at home . She looks like a supervisor but I didn't catch her name And other gentlemen approached and he has gone to the stock room and looked for me . He couldn't find the size I was after . But it was a good gesture and effort As I couldn't find the size I was after . Started looking for a different type . And then didn't feel comfortable to spend my money in a place that doesn't value their customers I was about to spend over £100 in your store but hence what an other store deserves it better

Hollister sell the only jeans I like. Although most of them are jeggings and not real denim, they last 2yrs+ with constant wear. Other clothes I've bought here are also good quality. This particular store is cramped and awkwardly laid out with bad lighting, moving around is annoying as it's always busy. The store is generally a mess too on the weekends but staff are friendly and helpful.

I went in looking for a jacket and a lovely shop assistant serviced me was a lovely young lady I didn't find what I was looking for and she was busy but went out of her way to help. We need more people like her thank you.

Helpful staff, central location but, half the changing rooms were closed so there was a bit of a wait. Overall a great store, will return.
