This is a review not of the marina but the overnight stay offered to camper vans and motorhomes. £35 per night is overnight parking with advertised access to toilets, showers and £10 meal voucher to spend in the club cafe. We booked for two nights and turned up to be booked in by Craig. A friendly chap who showed us where to park in the car park. He gave us a tour and at that point told us due to complications the showers were out of order and there were some in a porta cabin. If we’d known we were paying a premium price for this we would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. The showers didn’t work properly, running hot then cold. Saturday night was horrendous, we came back from a night out and the ladies toilets were in an awful and near unusable state due to a party. The car park was noisy and full of rubbish by morning. When asked for a refund that was refused as apparently we only payed for parking. Avoid this shambles of a place and find somewhere proper to stay. The showers being in an outside block might not have been such an issue if they had been heated and worked properly. I have further noticed a review given a month after mine in which someone else has complained about the state of the area. The owners response is to state they hoped that a refund was issued. Has your policy changed? I asked for a refund on exactly the same issue and was refused. Absolutely disgusted.

We came across this place while on a walk after checking into local hotel and decided to pop in for a drink and food. We wasn't disappointed! It is so dog friendly they even have dog beds, water bowls and biscuits for your fury friend. Staff all very polite and friendly and food was delicious and reasonably priced. What we enjoyed the most was the fact it had a pool table and booth seating next to it so myself 2 daughters and dog was able to relax play some pool eat a nice meal and just have a really lovely evening together. We enjoyed it so much we visited on the Tuesday evening and went back on the Thursday before going home the next day. The surrounding area and views are lovely. Would definitely go back if we was ever in the area again.

Amazing stopover here for Campervans. Just £25 a night at the time of writing (book online) and you get a card that allows you access to the Marina bar (serve great food) and private showers. Liverpool city centre walkable from here too

We have enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Staff at the marina super helpful and facilities are excellent. The launderette works well, as do showers and toilets. Marina security is good. Having access to the on site yacht club bar was a nice plus!

Superb Marina. It was very easy to book a berth, Danny followed us in on Marine Traffic, the lock keeper was expecting us and directed us to our berth and staff were waiting to help us with our lines. It's a great place, excellent facilities, only 15 minutes walk from the town and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The Yacht Club on site is a bonus too. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a fantastic weekend staying in the marina which is ideally located just about a mile walk along the promenade to Liverpool waterfront and close to the Baltic market. Craig was really helpful before our arrival, explaining clearly where we would be berthing, and he met us on our pontoon and showed us where all of the facilities where. Lock in and lock out all great, with instant response whenever we called on our radio. Bar and restaurant on site, where we had a fabulous breakfast and good toilets and showers. We will definitely be back, thank you.

Booked bay 3 then got email to change to bay 11 as other person wanted our bay got there and bay 3 and 11 were taken then person in bay 11 late that night was looking with hands up at the window peering threw drunk then put a note on our window saying why are we parked in his spot we had taken bay 2 at this point and people in bay 1 should have been in our bay 2 would not recommend it totally confusing because of 1 drunk man.if we had got the bay we originally booked all would have been great !! We had a walk into Liverpool had a meal which was great then back to the motorhome 7 meters long and set off for le shuttle next morning .this was the persons van that left the nasty note i shouted to him but he ran into his van blaming us.l

Friendly staff in the bar. Not sampled the food, so can’t give 5 stars, but that’s just because I don’t know? 👍🏼

Very expensive to empty a cassette when trapped by a canal breach. The charge of £10 per 20L cassette (DIY)compared to £27 for a 200L pump out or £37 if they bring the pump to Salthouse dock seems excessive. The website stated we could only empty cassettes on Thursdays which we could book in advance. When we visited the first time it became apparent that we could visit anytime...if we could afford it! It would be worth correcting the website and please review pricing.

Moored in Salthouse Dock in our own narrow boat. Great location, and so much to see in Liverpool

Perfect get away for us. Less than a mile from the city, with access to the waterfront and all that it offers. The marina itself boast a bar restaurant. Haven't tried the food so can't rate it. The marina facilities have been undergoing refurbishment, been going on for a quite a while but they have temporary facilities to make up for it.

From our first contact with the lock keeper Craig, followed by Mark in in office ensuring we had a berth capable of accommodating our 16 metre craft, we knew we were in good hands. A special mention for Jed and Danny who were not only efficient and timely with our order for fuel, but were also most entertaining. The Marina location is ideal for exploring the city. A very welcoming marina in a very welcoming city.

Very disappointed. Planned to stay at the marina in our motor home. What is advertised and what you get are completely different. Area looks untidy and lack of maintenance and attention

Friendly unpretentious and fun. We had no idea what to expect for our two -night stay but this is the perfect spot for anyone wanting to explore Liverpool. Just a short walk from the Beatle's Experience, lots of docks and museums it was simply the perfect place to stay. There is also a bar and adjacent restaurant serving pub food which is very conveninet. The toilet facilities are exceptionally clean, campers have their own pass into the bathrooms, just love it and cannot wait to go back. Thoroughly recommend the sight seeing bus which starts from Albert Dock where you camp. It is hop on - hop off and perfect for an unplanned visit to this growing and stunning city.

Love coming down here for a nice walk and lovely crisp pint. Great for kids and the views of the boays are spectacular. Would be nice to own one mind, but then id have pay parking fees too haha Not eatin here so cant comment on food, but my partners Auntie ordered a club sandwich the other day and it still hadnt turned up after an hour. After speaking with staff, it turns out there is 2 tables with the same number but ours wasnt checked. The staff re done the order and we was given a free drink also, Thankyou Marina Staff, will be back and if we order we will draw you a map🤣🤣

Love this place. Stopped over for 2 nights in our campervan. Craig was lovely and really helpful. Bar had a great atmosphere, friendly staff and good selection of ales. Short walk into Liverpool, so of course we did the cavern club! Safe, secure and brilliant facilities (showers are lovely and hot). Can't fault it. We'll be back......
