I was fortunate enough to have job shadowed at Top Tailoring for about 8 months and thoroughly enjoyed my time there! Ross is amazingly experienced and talented, making some extremely difficult alterations/repairs look like a piece of cake! I learned a great deal from him and still like to visit him and the team as often as I can. Some customers were a sheer delight to work with and so grateful for the talent, but sadly there are always going to be the odd few that don't appreciate all the time and effort put in... Garments were completed to a very high standard and within the given timeframe, exactly as requested. Would I recommend Top Tailoring? Yes, without a doubt 👍

So i bought a wedding clothes via online and receive about two weeks before the wedding... Its a ball gown wedding dress, very stunning... unfortunately it is too long for me even with the heels on 😭 thank God i found this shop ( local to my house) to get in fix in time for my wedding.. especially with wedding and prom seasons he still able to deliver... Very professional and did a very good job to alter the whole dress and fit me well 😊 and make me feel like a Cinderella primcess on my wedding day!!! I will definitely recommend him!!!

Great service! The guy who worked there was a super chilled and likeable guy, very friendly and speedy service. I phoned up in the morning, and he said come any time, I went down an hour later with no appointment, and he seen to me straight away. I was having a skydive jumpsuit altered. He sized it up with pins and I was out the door in about 20 mins or so. I would definetly recommend. Great prices too, a LOT less than what I was expecting to pay considering I needed the suit altered all over (legs, arms and torso)! I will definetly be using this tailor for all future alterations, highly recommend.

I would absolutely recommend this tailoring service to anyone who is looking for beautifully finished alterations from very friendly and professional staff. There are two large private changing cubicles with good light and mirrors to see the results and there was plenty of time given to talk through the changes I wanted to check that I was happy. I now have 4 dresses altered to suit my figure and preferences and one new skirt remade from a dress. I am extremely happy with the results and the price was very reasonable indeed! If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Brilliant customer service and perfect alterations job. I brought in 2 pairs of smart trousers, a pair of jeans and a jumpsuit, all needing various things done. The owner was very helpful, giving honest opinions on how much things should be taken up/in, and was transparent about any potential issues with the work to be done. I left the items and collected them the following week - all fit perfectly, and altered for a reasonable price. Would 100% recommend and will bring my wedding dress here to be altered too.

I could not be more grateful for Top Tailoring! I went to see them back in February to get my bridesmaid dress altered which they did beautifully. Unfortunately, the dress now doesn't fit so I had to find another dress. With just over a week to go before the wedding, I went in to have the new dress altered and they completely put me at ease that it will all be fine and sorted in time. What a fantastic man! I came in with my wedding dress asking for the buttons to be changed into a lace up so that it will fit my pregnancy belly. Very good price and speedy service. My dress was a champagne colour and they even managed to find the perfect matching material. Will definitely be using again!

Absolutely brilliant service. I highly recommend Top Tailoring! At the start of 2023, we took 5 Groomsmen suits to Ross, without an appointment, and he accommodated us with no problem at all. He was friendly and gave us all great advice and knew exactly what was needed. Explained all of the options to each of us and was able to customise the fit of the three piece suit and the shirts brilliantly. Not only this but we took 4 bridesmaid dresses which someone else had attempted to alter but it had gone horribly wrong. We took them into Ross and he was able to save all of them! Even repairing one dress which had been ripped elsewhere. We are very grateful to Ross and Top Tailoring for their help sorting out the suits and dresses for our wedding. The zip failed on my Barbour type jacket and they skilfully replaced the entire zip with a near identical one. The original factory poppers were placed very close to the zip, so they removed them all and then replaced with matching poppers to the originals. They went above and beyond and I am extremely happy they saved my jacket, highly recommended.

We have used Ross for a couple of items now and we have always been so extremely satisfied with the service we received. I recently took in a bridesmaids dress which they altered perfectly. I was very nervous about wearing the dress as it was a little small and very long and now I feel so comfortable wearing it! We will be back again.

Absolutely fabulous result. Had a coat that had a broken zip and was looking like I might have to throw it as the zip is so long. These guys came up trumps and fixed it perfectly. They even fitted a double zip so i can unzip from the bottom as well as the top. Now I can wear my favourite coat again and can't wait for the snow. Thank you Top Tailoring.

I had my wedding dress altered here and my husband had his suit altered at the same time recently. After alterations everything fit perfectly and was exactly as we envisioned, he was able to give us advice through the process on what would look best and be most suitable as well as affordable. It was such a lovely process and we were able to communicate quickly by phone as required in order to check in and relieve any stress. Couldn’t recommend more - can see why it’s so busy!

I have used Top Tailoring on a couple of occasion’s now, the last time I used them was for my wedding suit as it was too big, they absolutely smashed the alterations and the suit was perfect on the day. Sleeves were shortened on this jacket and you cant even tell the difference. I Have been using this tailor for years when Reza (the owner) was in Nuneaton and Poole and I must say, never have I ever been disappointed.
