I called to ask if the food is Halal, it is and ensured there is no cross contamination with the pork and it’s done separately. The shop is a family run business, and it genuinely feels like a “mothers home cooked” meal. Ordered number of items and I’m upset I couldn’t order more. Chicken bao buns are to die for! Dipped the cheesy chips into the sauce of the main dishes just made me feel so happy. Absolutely loved it. It is a hidden gem. Highly recommend it. Found a new food spot

This is the BEST Filipino food we had in London 😍 I decided to take my boyfriend here as he is Pinoy and he misses Filipino food so much. We ate King Prawn Lumpia (6 fried rolls filled with prawns), Pork Lechon (DREAMY!!!! 😋) and Chicksilog. We also had 2 bottles of water. All of this was around £17 (for eat-in), I know, crazy right? Such amazing Pinoy food, big portions and honestly unbeatable prices. To top it off, the staff were amazing and the owner was very friendly and kind. I really recommend everyone to try Kuya Fernando's food, you'll become addicted (I know I am 😭).

Hearty and delicious, what more can you ask for? It’s my first time trying Filipino food and won’t be the last time. The calamari melted in my mouth and the sinigang had the right amount of sourness. Highly recommended!

So I ordered the pork sinigang and I must say it is GARBAGE. Pork Sinigang is one of my favourite dishes and this was not it. The Pork ribs was terrible and the soup was just tasteless. (I know what sinigang is supposed to taste like) I also ordered the Pork Siopao which was good and the Pork Kawali Bao was ok but wouldn't order the Kawali Bao again. Lastly I ordered the Ube shake which is yummy in itself. Also, ordered the Chicharron which came in a packet which tasted garbage to. Being as a Filipino and having my mum cook me Filipino dishes all my life and having gone to Philippines and tasting all kinds of dishes over there. This place is not it and I'm so disappointed as I expected better. Don't waste your money on the dishes... Only thing that was worth it was the Pork Siopao and the Ube Shake. 🤷

Casual, halal, family run gem. (Called ahead on a whim to check halal status and confirmed they served pork but no cross contamination.) First time trying Filipino food and the staff were helpful with recommendations, all of which were beyond expectation. Will definitely be back and would encourage others to support this family run local business!

Kuya Fernando’s is one of the first filipino options I have found on Uber Eats which is good news for me. I attached a note to my order which they were really thoughtful towards and accommodated for me generously. Really thankful to the guys here! The food portions were beyond satisfactory and the quality of the Lechon and Singing were top tier. Will definitely be visiting them in person and ordering from them again, would recommend to all :)

The cafe is near my home. Service like I was a part of a royal family. A waitress loves her job, and she recommended me lots of yummy dishes. The price is very cheap for London. Last time I paid £20 for whole lunch. The atmosphere is really filipino 😍 The food was tasteful. My lovely Halo-Halo desert takes place in the cafe. My personal suggestions are "Chicken Inasal" or "Chicken Adobo". 5 stars for music, atmosphere, food, especially service. Come here every week or two. My boyfriend is filipino and he said that the food is the same as in his motherland.

Had rice, meat which came with two eggs. Found it to be OK although meat could have been better. Overall Filipino places to eat are not so easy to come by in this side of town so really great to have this place as an option. They have seating outside in the rear and have a nice relaxed atmosphere in the cafe. Overall the service was great. Typical Filipino friendliness and hospitality. Good selection of items to choose from the menu and reasonable prices.

So good! Large portions (much cheaper if you order in store than from delivery apps) and so full of flavour. Chicken adobo is rich and tender, pork lechon is perfectly roasted, the appetisers and deserts are all tasty. The opening hours can be a bit random as we failed twice trying to get takeaway, but we finally managed to go when they were open and it was so worth the wait

Yum!!! Tried today for the first time but it definitely won’t be the last time! I had the noodles and they were amazing. Very tasty, great portion size, good price and brilliant service. I wanted to try a Filipino snack and they were happy to offer advice on the best ones to choose to suit my taste - very friendly and warm service. Already looking forward to visiting again!

So so tasty! And really lovely and friendly in the cafe. I've only ever had it as delivery before and I don't know if its just psychological but I prefer in person! I accidentally chose a halo halo on a really cold day but it was delicious anyway! And the times I've had it delivered, the food has been really good too. If I lived closer I would probably get even just some gyoza or snacks from here a lot!

I can't wait to order food from here again. Really impressed with the flavour of the food, particularly the siracha wings and turon. Really friendly service. Great prices. Good size portions.

Kuya Fernando has slowly been breaking the local mainstream food site with its range of quick service Filipino food. The Filipino cuisine is a fusion of Asian and western influence. And Kuya Fernando did not fail at all in giving that gastronomic satisfaction with that right tasty kind of fresh-homecooked-meal sensation on a very good size portions! If one is still unsure about what Filipino cuisine is, just ask from the staff. They are super friendly and accommodating. Just be patient when visiting during lunch times, it can be pretty busy!
