Worst experience I’ve ever had. I went in with my partner to shop for some prawns, dumplings, noodles etc. We were going to make dinner at home and thought it would be nice to get some Chinese food from an actual supermarket instead of buying it from a generic supermarket but as soon as we walked in, all 5 workers were staring at us. We walked to the back near the freezer section where a Chinese worker started following me (but he was pretending to shop around) I realised what he was doing but brushed it off, then another one approached my partner and asked him why he’s just standing there... he was reading the ingredients in some of the products to see what it was. After picking up a few items and walking around the shop, I could see the same worker was STILL following me! He was watching my every move and I realised then that he thought we would steal as I’m Indian and my partner is black. I decided to put the items back and not hand over any of my money because I do not appreciate being stereotyped. We were willing to spend about £40 there as we wanted to have a Saturday night feast. Change your management or open your mind to different races!

I used to shop here regularly... Until I noticed that the store was purposely selling out of date biscuits to customers. That's when I realised that the owners were too desperate, too money hungry - at the expensive of customer health and good character. Cannot stand scammers.

Please be aware the man on the till scans items more than once and tries to trick you to pay more. I have challenged him about this and doesn’t care. He takes it off once you tell him but it shouldn’t of happened in the first place.

I like mochi ice cream so good , every time I come I buy this and some other food ❤️

If I could give no stars I would. I used to like this shop, but I won't be shopping there again. There's no consideration being made regarding the pandemic, so the entrance is narrow and no one seems to wait to let people in/out meaning the store can get quite busy and extremely uncomfortable. It's unacceptable considering all other shops have to abide by social distancing rules. The owners need to make more effort to consider the safety of their customers and not just about profit.

A place with a lot of asian delicacies (eg a large selection of asian noodles, sweets) and interesting and cool things that are normally only available in Asia. :)

Man on the till scans items more than once very quickly. Its disgusting. When you challenge him he just takes it off and doesn't acknowledge what he just did. This has now happened to a few of my friends as well. Shame on you.

I always go on weekends. Very good selection, very helpful staff. Love the samyang korean noodles. Seafood is very good. 5 stars

Great selection of the kind of things that you don't know what they are but that you saw on holiday. Unless you used to live somewhere exotic, in which case this is probably a little slice of home. Great for buying that ingredient for an asian recipe you can't find anywhere else.

This supermarket has a decent selection of Asian goods, veggies, dumplings, and snacks.

Usually i’m not into giving bad reviews but I have to say they like to look down on customer and follow you around! Since the first time I went there I felt uncomfortable.

They have everything you could possibly need for east Asian cooking from instant ramen to white fungus. They also have fresh fish, tofu and kimchi and lots of snacks and teas

First time here. I wanted to try out sime authentic ingredients for our chinese stir fry rather than supermarket brands. There was such an array of things at reasonable prices. Not just Chinese Vietnamese and Thai foods too. I brought noodles spring rolls and soy sauce. If you want to really spice up your meal I would imagine this is a place to try. The staff were able to answer my questions and were friendly

the goods prices are quite high, bought a shaoxing wine but the quality is not good

I am always go to this supermarket. I can get fresh vegetables and fishes. Staff very friendly. If you are looking for Asia foods produces go this place. Some time Wing Yip don’t have put I come to this place I can get ingredients. I am very regular customer for 5 years when I move to Croydon. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🙏🏽

Good selection of oriental specialties and ok prices. But pay attention to expiry dates! Got some stuff here with best before date in the past, they need to check their stock better

We always go here for our Filipino goods, the owner is very helpful, as are the fish mongers that they have there

I'm not quite sure if this supermarket used to be called Wing Tai because google shows another supermarket at this exact same location with recent reviews. Anyway, I definitely visited Daily Fresh Supermarket (Croydon) 天天鮮超市. Overall, it was well stocked with lots of Asian noodles and even Taiwanese bubbles. The only gripe was the entrance which is extremely narrow and the cashier is located right there so there will be a queue of people there which you have to get past to get in. So during these times, I would rather distance myself which is not a problem, ie you can just wait until the queue goes down before going in. Every time I go in, I generally have a list of what to buy because card payment is 5 pound minimum

I go there to buy spicy noodles and went there today! Amazing food and very spicy noodles! I even heard they sell mochi ice cream! Definitely returning soon! 😆

Excellent quality fresh fish, and helpful, skilled and knowledgeable staff.
