My daughter is just finishing her reception year at this school and I would highly recommend it. The teachers are fantastic, approachable and really go the extra mile to keep the children interested and motivated. It is a well structured and disciplined school without being strict. My daughter has progressed really well here and is confident and happy. There is a fabulous mix of children from different cultures and backgrounds, which is representative of the area and of London and has made my daughter's learning experiences here even more interesting. The school involve parents a lot and I really feel like we are a part of my daughter's school education, which is really reassuring. The wrap around care is also great with plenty of availability. The PTA is friendly, welcoming and inclusive and they do a fabulous job with events and fund raising. Very pleased we chose Purley Oaks! Please don't believe the negative, historic rumours that still seem to circulate about this school, It really is a great place-go and see for yourself!

My son finished this school last year, and my daughter is in year 4 at the moment. I absolutely happy with the school. All staff are very kind and helpful. My children made very good progress. They are happy to go there everyday. In this 7 years i didn't have any issues. 100% recommend to other parents!

I would highly recommend this school. My oldest attended many years ago and my youngest is in year 4. The teachers are friendly, approachable and go above and beyond for all the children. Both my children have made progress and I haven't had any issues. The PTA do an amazing job at organising events and fundraising for the school. There is a real sense of community at Purley Oaks and I am glad I have chosen this school for my children to attend.

I have been working at Purley Oaks for over 10 years now as a class teacher , both in Year One and Reception. I can honestly say that I love it here. Everyone is so kind and welcoming . We all help each other out no matter what year group we are in or what job role we have - we are a great team! I was advised when I was an NQT to keep moving to different schools but I really don’t want to be anywhere else! In Reception we are a fantastic team and work very closely together. We have such fun and it is amazing to see the children progress throughout the year. I feel that in Early Years we give children a great start to their learning careers!

A fantastic school to which all 3 of my children have attended from the start, currently 2 still at purley oaks. They have progressed well with their education and all staff are friendly and welcoming and will help out if there’s ever a situation. Great school and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of sending their children here.

Fantastic School the staff go above and beyond to make the children feel safe and secure in their school environment. Nothing is too much bother and will put you and your child at ease. Purley Oaks has a outstanding nursery and reception, parents are welcome to view the children’s work and the teaching staff keeps you updated on all aspects of the children’s learning. All three of my children have been taught at purley Oaks and they still talk very fondly of the school today, purley oaks set my children on the right path for when they entered senior school where they continued to thrive and I put that down to the amazing support from Purley Oaks and it’s staff. Once again Purley Oaks I would like to say thank you.

Great school! Both my daughters have achieved so much! The teachers really listen and care about each child. It has a great community feel and I personally have made lots of friends in other parents. The PTA organises lots of different things for the children to raise money for the school. Would definitely recommend this school to other parents.

I believe there are some good teachers but our experience with the teacher and some admin staff was not really worth a 5 star review.

Both my children started their school life at Purley Oaks without any English and all the staff helped them to feel secure and included all the times. They achieved soo much and still progressing all the time. Staff always works as a team and do their best to teach in a happy and secure environment. As a parent and a recent member of staff I couldn't be more happier. Thank you Purley Oaks team.

A supportive and inclusive community which supports all children to achieve.

A brilliant, fully inclusive school. The teachers are experienced and knowledgeable and the outdoor play areas are superb. The food on offer for the school is freshly prepared on site and the school offers full wraparound care from 7.30am until 6.30pm. Our daughter is so happy here and I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a lovely local primary school.
