Wow. I really must say, I have never been as impressed with a cafe/restaurant as I have been with Tava. Had such a wonderful talk with one of the partners, such a lovely, caring person who made sure we were well looked after. And everything we ordered from the menu was brilliant, well presented, tasty, good size portions and reasonably priced. Honestly I was so happy with everything. I had the mango mastani and others in my group had the tea. They were both amazing. I can't wait to come back here. Keep up the amazing work guys.

It’s taken me a good few years to find a good Chaat place. My 1st visit didn’t fall short of expectations. The savoury favourites served in well thought eco-friendly dishes were the samosa chaat and the Dabeli while my friend relished her intro to the chicken fried rice and paav bhaji. For a finishing touch..my choice of masala chai was refreshing!!! Hungry entry and a happy exit it was with friendly faces adding to the delight!!

Great food, very friendly staff. Vada pav had a slightly different coating but tasted delicious. Pav bhaji was good, ras malai cake is a must try. Good find in Croydon given that there are rare Indian street food restaurants here.

Love the kick of the sweet sauce and spicy chutney combine to elevate this lovely sev puri. Been to this place the first time and just for a quick snack, nothing better than chaat. Was really good and highly recommend anyone to try it.

I ordered a samosa chhat and wasn't disappointed with the taste. Originally i intended to take paw bhaji but couldn't try it as it wasn't vegan due to butter in it. Extremely friendly service, would definitely recommend.

Located on the High Street of Croydon, it's really difficult to miss this place, there was off street car parking. This place is for those who have the Desi calling in them. The food tasted good, right flavours for the dish I'd ordered, the place got crowded pretty quick though it has decent seating. Service was fast waiting only for few mins. The staff even checked on us to see if everything was okay, you don't find that often. Overall the experience was really good. Looking forward for multiple visits. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 'The Tava Shop,' and it was truly a delightful experience. The food was exceptional, with each dish carrying an authentic Indian touch. The highlight for me was the 'Rasmalai Cake'—a divine dessert that left me craving for more. Every bite was a burst of flavors that showcased the chef's expertise. The overall dining experience at 'The Tava Shop' was a perfect blend of excellent cuisine and genuine Indian essence. Highly recommended for those who appreciate fine flavors and a touch of authenticity in their meals.

Wondering why did I miss out on this restaurant when I have been visiting the nearby ones for couple of times. This restaurant brought us our memories of Vada Pav and Kachi Dabeli that we used to enjoy during our days in Pune. People are very friendly in their Service. The restaurant has gone into my favourites list in London.

The food deserves a 6/5!! I love their range of Indian and especially Indo-chinese dishes! The ambience is great too, they play a lot of Indian music, which I suggest is best to have over a plate of piping hot samosas and tea! They score additional points for the affordability and location 👌👌

The vada pav evoked the Mumbai spirit and the ragda patties was just out of this world The place may look small but packs a very big spirit for some amazing food. The Chef is very accommodating and can cater to your taste well. The Rasmalai cake is just the right balance of sweetness and is a favourite for all groups
