Unbelievably bad service. I've given 1 star because I have to give 1 star at the very least. I have rang OH at least 6 occasions since November 2020 to get my roof that is leaking sorted out and a replacement shed door, each time they have me on the phone between 20-50 minutes. I am so frustrated with them, they can't even get the appointments right, twice given an appointment over phone only to be text back with a different date we havent agreed. Then I've to ring them back again and go back over it all once more. Ok if I didn't work but I do. How hard can it be to provide a good customer service?!

Completely useless, their engineers can't do a simple job. When they replaced the tiles in the bathroom, they destroyed some on the other wall and didn't replace them. They torn up the wallpaper and didn't fix it either. They come unprepared. During the pandemic, they left us without a bathroom for two days. We still have two unfinished jobs and can't tell when they'll be finished. They're not very polite and they just create dirt in the house. They're postponing visits without your knowledge. When you make an appointment at 4 p.m. they come at 2 p.m. and leave a letter that you missed the appointment. Every time we ask for something, it turns out it's impossible to do it. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Preston branch knowingly allow class A drug dealing from 36a Albyn Bank Road and 33a greenwood Street in Avenham! They take years to carry out simple repairs and only care about money. The property's are a disgrace when you first move in and cost us thousands to make good. They charge service charges for window cleaning etc that hasn't ever been done. Hopefully they will go bankrupt soon if they manage the business in the same way as the properties. Was bad when contour owned it but 10 times worse with now.

Absolute joke. If this was a private landlord they would have been prosecuted time and time again. The mother in law's house in Springhill needs a total refurb the kitchen comprises of 1 sink unit and a shelf both falling to bits. The windows are mainly metal frames and God knows how old. I very much doubt it would pass an electrical test it looks to be best part of 45 years old, no central heating, bathroom in need of urgent work, in fact it would be worthy of a full episode on slum landlords. When work is agreed months in advance they then cancel at the last minute. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

Cleaning staff working for ideverde who do our cleaning and windows. You be lucky to see them. But still expected to pay all service charges. Complaints ignored. Bad management all round I say from the top down utter disgrace I do believe that ideverde management for the window cleaners haven't any interest at all

WOW!!! What a shockingly bad company!!! An apparent "Neighbourhood Officer" called Amira Hussain who works for this shambles, has claimed that a door mat that we have placed outside of my Mother-in-laws door is a fire hazard, and is forcing her to move it, or they will then charge her. The irony, there is a door mat outside of the main door going into the building, which apparently is exempt from this "fire hazard" rule. Virtually everybody else in the building has a similar mat outside, yet they have not been told to move them. This mat was placed to prevent my Mother-in-law from slipping, it is for her safety, but this lady, can't seem to understand that! She has now approached my Mother-in-law twice to complain about this, even though people should be social distancing and shielding, clearly these rules do not apply. My Mother-in-law is not a very well woman, but this doesn't seem to bother certain people. Do they not have better things to do, like trying to prevent drug users from using the building has a place to hang out and use!! Shocking!!!

They aren’t even worth one star. I only gave them one so that I could post this. Onward have had 3 months to fix a leak coming into my property and other works. During that time the leak has caused subsequent damage; mushroom fungus to grow from ceiling and wall, black mould, large stains, my electrics to trip out and cause my freezer to defrost, shelving on wall to need replacing, wall paper to bubble off the wall so much that it needs replacing and the workmen who supposedly fixed the leak left so much mess that rooms were unusable and they damaged other walls and wall paper and plaster and left holes and unfinished parts. It’s now a week after they supposedly fixed things and it’s obvious that they haven’t done the other works because the same issues are happening with them and it’s obvious that they haven’t fixed the leak because both walls are wet and there’s water coming down them and collecting around the sockets. I’ve lost count of the number of phone calls that I’ve made to them. I’ve even complained and asked for it to be escalated and went as far as involving my local councillor and have even asked for some kind of management involvement as no one seems to be capable of doing their job, but I was told that it’s not something that they do and it’s still unresolved! The situation has caused me so much distress. I have felt dismissed and disrespected. The endless repetition and going round in circles has been really draining. The lack of courtesy and unprofessionalism is appalling. I’ve been a tenant since early 2000, in the days when it was run by the local council and can’t believe how it’s deteriorated and that a company can behave like this and get a way with it!!

What a joke of a landlord 50 + secretary questions , my wall damp, with mushrooms growing, supposed to come back out today 13 July 21, gets a new appointment for Thursday 15, told them, I would not be available so they said next week, the wall has now been like this for over a month now , I asked for the inspector to originally come out, but no they sent out a underdog who said he would have to come out again with the inspector, useless bunch of idiots,

Got a rent to buy house with these and an absolute shambles from start to finish. Had to go to my local MP to push for me to get a move in date. Was originally told June and didn't move in until October. They have stuck a random £213 fee onto my rent and haven't bothered to check my rent notes to see what I have paid over the phone to cover back pay for when they didn't contact me until 6 months after I'd moved in regarding rent. Also, was not made aware in the beginning we would have to fork out for flooring in our new build house...which adds value which we will end up paying. Terrible organisation. Avoid at all costs.

I've contacted them 3 times about the filthy block of flats in which I live. Nobody has been to clean the block for at least 5 weeks, Dirty windows, dead insects all over the place, and still no response, I fixed my own toilet because I know that they would take ages to repair it. Useless.

It's been 1 and half years ago my boiler room ceiling collapsed, my bathroom ceiling collapsed soon after due to a leak in upstairs flat. 11 axis workers came and went taking photos, to this day they have nearly done nowt to fix the damage the leak caused.

DO NOT BUY A PROPERTY FROM ONWARD!!! I have lived at Alexandra Drive in Aigburth for nearly 2 years. The communal areas are an absolute disgrace.. 1) The building is not secure as the front door is constantly broken. 2) There is a smashed window that has never been replaced. 3) The communal garden is an unusable mud bath. 4) The wall has fallen down in the car park. 5) The gardeners/cleaners never turn up so the place is filthy inside and out. 6) We've had a leak in our flat since August that still hasn't been fixed. Onward are aware of all the issues but have done absolutely nothing, they have no duty of care towards the residents. We have made an official complaint to the housing ombudsman and our local MP today as we can't keep living in an unsafe, unliveable building.

Here is the story of how they ENTOMBED A BIRD AND ITS BABIES TO DIE SLOWLY INSIDE OUR CEILING CAVITY. I'll preface this by saying that the repair workers we have dealt with, and our Housing Officer have been wonderful and helpful. However every single staff member that we have dealt with over the phone, email or the portal have been clearly only interested in fobbing us off and not listening to us. Undoubtedly the most incompetent organisation I've ever dealt with. Our property has damage that we learned was put down to be fixed a year before we moved in. It was not fixed. It allowed access to the cavity between our flat and the flat above. This led to a starling nesting in the cavity, with access to the whole cavity and kitchen vent pipe. We reported the bird months before nesting and laying happen for Starlings. Onward repeatedly ignored us when we said that this presented a HEALTH and FIRE HAZARD which would allow them permission to remove nesting birds which are otherwise protected by law. The repair staff member on the portal either LIED, or misrepresented the law, in stating that nesting birds are 100% protected by law and there is absolutely no way they can do anything about it. After we approached our housing officer, he did a lot to help and get us listened to, upon which it was confirmed that we were totally correct and the bird should be removed. After this had been going on for 3 months they sent out a contractor with no warning, who sealed the access hole... WITH THE BIRD STILL INSIDE. THEY LITERALLY ENTOMBED IT TO SLOWLY DIE IN THE CAVITY. We had several days of listening to an increasingly panicked and starving bird (starlings are very noisy normally, so imagine the noise of it panicking) trying to find a way out everywhere. We could hear it above a tiny hole next to the kitchen light as it must have seen the daylight coming in. We could hear it above our bedroom which is where the access hole was, so we couldn't sleep in there. We don't know if it had babies in there with it, but no doubt they suffered a starving death too. On top of this, our boiler stopped working. They did not show up for the appointment booked (which was on the 5th day of the "5 working days" rule for urgent repairs) and we then learned it had been cancelled without reason or notification. Absolutely embarassingly run organisation, with a handful of good conractors and staff members who deserve to work for a better company.

My Mum is a tenant at a flat in Accrington, been complaining about unsecure, draughty windows for 4 years, her heating costs are a joke, she's alone living off a pension in her ground floor flat....they recently replaced only the FRONT DOOR even though it was perfectly fine....

Well there's one thing I have learned about Onward in these past few months and that a lot of the staff are all about making their job as easy as possible for themselves with very little regard for any of the people living in the actual scheme.

Great place and great landlords, easy to get to but not great to park at so set off a little earlier if you have an appointment.

Unbelievably bad housing association had damp issues, bathrooms issues , windows issues. Then they send untrained people that don’t have a clue what they’re doing in the process of reporting them.
