If I could give this more stars, I would. The guys were brilliant from before we even entered the door. The reception room has spacious and comfy airline seats and was offered a complimentary drink. We were given information about the flight and the guys were extremely knowledgeable as they are pilots themselves. I will be going back and giving this experience as a gift in the future. Book direct with them and they will take care of you. Time literally flies so do at least 2 hours. Ultimately, this was one of the best things I have ever done.

Brilliant A320 simulator built and run by people who live and breathe flying. Alan was a great host, my daughters had booked me a 1hr flight (minimum I would recommend) for my birthday and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I've had. I'm not an aircraft nerd, and you don't need to be as they coach you through the whole flight from start up to taxi to landing. You can feel the pride taken in the construction and presentation of the simulator, it really does take the experience to another level. Wonderful to see a small business like this built on passion and sincerity, I can't wait to book again, and cannot recommend Simulator Adventures highly enough.

A super experience! Just reading the below comments and I couldn't agree more. Alan and Stewart were very welcoming from the moment we walked in. It was fascinating to hear about their previous aviation careers and how its been poured into make this simulator experience and oh wow. The airbus cabin, visual and hydraulic motion made this as close to a real life experience as I could imagine. Alan's patient instruction was delivered clearly and I was made to feel very much at ease. The hour went by in no time. I'd definately do this again. Thank you.

Where do I start? Just a fantastic experience from the second you walk in the door. Reception area is full of aircraft seats where they have a friendly chat, find out a bit about you and what your flying experience is (absolutely none is required) Your then taken through to the simulator, which is FULL motion. Flexibility with airports are available. I got to fly from Edinburgh to Aberdeen and then up to Inverness. 2 landings and 2 takeoffs including start up, taxi and shut down. Instructors are fantastic, so patient and know exactly what they are doing. The simulator is exactly what you would expect if you walked into an A320 flight deck, the sidesticks are both genuine airbus flight sticks and the small touches really add to the overall experience. Spotlessly clean simulator, cleaner than some aircrafts that's for sure! Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will 100% be back!

We booked the flight simulator for 2 hours for a Father’s Day gift and it was an absolute fantastic experience. The staff were amazing, really accommodating and were well experienced. Our dad thoroughly enjoyed himself. The staff answered all our questions and were open about their own experiences. They were also genuinely lovely to have a chat with and you could tell how passionate they were about flying. Highly recommend, especially as a gift.

Great value for money, amazing experience. I took my son Luke for a birthday treat to the Simulator in Salford. Alan and Stewart were very welcoming and explained everything in detail so Luke knew what to expect. The facilities are excellent with real plane seats in the waiting room and refreshments, including chocolate hobnobs! The simulator is amazing. It is hyper-realistic, so much so that it is used for training airline pilots. It is easy to find and parking is free. In summary, this is superb value for money and an excellent experience. We will definitely be going again.

Went here yesterday with my brother and dad as a gift. Very welcoming, offered drinks whilst we waited and a very realistic experience. Would recommend anyone try at least once. Learnt a lot about aviation and the general technology used which was extremely insightful, as well as taking off and landing from the airport of my choice! Thanks again!

A superb place -- if you have even the slightest interest in getting an idea of the flight deck environment, then I urge you to go. Immediately. I was taken by my brother, a retired airline Captain, as my birthday present and had the most wonderful time. Alan was a genial host and encouraging instructor; he clearly loves what he's doing now, as well as the time he spent driving Airbuses for a living, and that love for flying is infectious. Be warned, though -- if you ever thought that flying modern commercial aircraft is an easy matter of pressing a few buttons before settling back with a cup of coffee to watch the scenery, this will change your view and give you a new respect for the people who make civil aviation a simple, safe, everyday experience for those of us in the back of the plane!

Wow! What a fabulous experience. We had 2 half-hour sessions booked for my husband and dad and they both came away saying it was way and above what they expected. From the minute you walk in, you are treated with such hospitality and immediately feel comfortable around the 2 gents (Alan and Stuart) that run the place. They are incredibly knowledgeable and clearly have a passion for planes. The simulator itself is incredibly well built and unbelievably realistic. You are clearly talked through each step. They even let my husband attempt a second landing (which he did successfully) after crash landing the 1st one 😂. My dad landed the 1st one so well that they challenged him to then land it in the fog. Although the half hour slot goes extremely quickly (I would recommend booking an hour), there was no sense of rushing around. We will definitely be back! Thank you! Zoe, Stu, Dave and Steph

Had a very good experience as a birthday present. Was slightly worried as I’m scared of flying but Alan was very knowledgeable and reassuring. Even simulated turbulence and an engine failure on my flight to show how easily these can be managed in the cockpit. The simulator itself is also very realistic and you can choose where you fly to.

Just wow! I was lucky enough to receive the experience as a birthday present from my partner. I didn’t know what to expect - but I definitely would have never imagined it to be as great of an experience as it was. I’m lucky enough to have been inside a real plane’s cockpit, and the guys have built an exact replica. The graphics are exceptional - so much so it would be believable you were truly flying. There’s clearly been so much money, time and effort put into such an amazing simulator. To top it off, both the guys, Stuart & Alan are previous commercial pilots! So they know their stuff and make the flights as real as they would be! Even involving a little role play!! Absolute amazing find and I will be returning. You guys are amazing and Manchester are lucky to have you.

Date of experience 1st July. What an amazing experience. Our 16 year old son has not stopped talking about his flight. We can highly recommend this if you have ever wished to fly an airliner. The owners Alan and Stuart are both experienced pilots and have many years of knowledge. The simulator is fantastic both myself and my husband were allowed to accompany our son in the cockpit. The take off's and landings were so realistic and there was even some turbulance thrown in for effect. The graphics are so realistic you really feel as though you are on an actual flight This experience is excellent value for money, a brilliant experience. We will be certainly booking again, keep up the excellent work! Thank you

5 stars for sure. A business ran by Alan and Stuart, two brothers that are passionate and lovely. I truly enjoyed the experience. It was a dream come true being able to have the feeling of flying an airplane. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family. You were given guidance throughout but at the same time in charge of the flight itself.

This A320 simulator was absolutely brilliant and the nearest most people will get to actually flying a real commercial aircraft. Alan and Stewart have created a fantastic experience that anyone can enjoy, whether they’re into aviation or not. They can create many different scenarios and flying conditions, it’s up to you! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a perfect gift for someone or an experience they will never forget.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Received as a birthday gift from my wife. Slightly apprehensive as I assumed that this would just be an upscale arcade game. How wrong of me. This is the real thing A brilliant experience from start to finish. Very friendly welcome together with very clear instructions. The landings were the most fun. From my first email asking a couple of questions, the reply I had assured me I was in the capable hands of people who cared for their customers and the customer experience. Alan and Stewart are fantastic and their passion for aviation and their passion for making sure I had an amazing and unforgettable experience. The simulator is an absolute marvel. It's impressive to look at, I shouted WOW out loud when I walked on to the flight deck and the 6 axis motion control made the simulator truely remarkable. Being in turbulence felt like the real thing. I had a plan of what I wanted to get out of the experience and Alan and Stewart were really accommodating in what I wanted to do. You can bring two passengers along for the ride which is a bonus One arrival the waiting area as super comfortable airplane seats with beverages offerer to us (even beers) in a very smartly presented waiting room and after a fact finding discussion we're were off to the main event. If your a fan of aviation, a flight sim enthusiast or stuck for a gift to give a loved one. You must try this experience. This review doesn't do the sim, Alan or Stewart the justice they deserve. This was an amazing experience run by two brothers who built the simulator from scratch. Their ex-aviation background gives them a lot of knowledge and it certainly felt very realistic. We were told that this is one of the few simulators with motion. The whole experience had a relaxed feel to it and were offered complimentary drinks during a briefing at the start. The cockpit had an extremely realistic feel to it and it included some genuine airbus parts as well as custom made components. You can customise your flights if you have an idea of what you want to do. I flew from Manchester to Heathrow, landed at the old Hong Kong Airport and also performed an aborted take off during a simulated emergency during take off. I'll definitely be booking again that's for sure.

Booked this experience for my dad's 80th and can say without doubt it was a very enjoyable morning in the simulator for him. Al and Stu made us feel very welcome, the Sim is very realistic , great fun. Dad is planning his next flight so can't say more than that can you!?👍🙂

What an excellent experience! It started with a warm welcome from the brothers and a chat. My dad had a great time with clear and thoughtful instruction from Alan. The simulator is full motion and feels incredibly realistic. Every noise and motion tricks you into thinking you’re really flying! Dad was taken through all the procedures from starting the plane, taxiing, takeoff, navigation along the flight path, how to deal with a near-miss, and landing. I would highly recommend and my dad already wants another visit!

Absolutely brilliant! Coming here was such a great experience getting taught how to start the plane, how to control it and having so much fun along the way. I loved going and would highly recommended this to anyone who might not have even done it before. Everyone was so nice and friendly as well! To anyone who loves planes and are interested at how they work, different problems that you could face along the way and how to fly them, then come and do this because it is really fun!
