In all honesty, 5 years ago when i first joined the school it was outstanding, from the teaching to the safety. However, over time qualified teachers have left and brand new teachers have came in, clueless about their job. At one stage we even had teachers teaching a subject they was not qualified to teach due to the school having a shortage on certain teachers. We now also have a 'acting' headteacher who will seclude you if you refuse to take off your fake nails as she stands there with extremely long nails, high heels, and short tight dresses. 'Hypocritical?' I think so. I think it is clear to say that the school has rapidly deteriorated and ofsted now rates the school as 'requiring improvement' in which I fully agree with.

Very poorly run school. Seem to want to teach children by punishing them with detentions for no apparent reason or very little reason. School also does not provide any homework for children to allow parents to check the level at which children are being taught. Would not recommend and seriously considering changing schools. Absolutely shocking.

Absolutely waste of time sending children to this school, all the good teacher's have left and the standards have dropped. The school is struggling with teachers to cover all lessons. Please ask other parents before you even think of sending your children here.

this is actually such a terrible school. teachers think they can just push children with detentions hoping it will fix them. if a student gets detentions over and over again do you think its working? im considering moving my child to another school since the teachers and the behaviour is unacceptable. the state of the school is trashy and rugged. gum all over and under the tables, broken chairs, walls and tables, drawings everywhere. i even saw that a security camera was pulled out and you keep trying to convince parents to keep joining when the state of the children, teachers and the school are horrible. theres always fights there. please read this before considering joining this school. it needs to be shut down instantly.

Reportedly the management love to steal public money, intended for children's education, and siphon it off into their own bank accounts. But then again, when you're running schools for profit, what's to be expected?

was a good school before someone stole money and left the school broke. all good teachers have now left leaving some teachers who really cant teach . school cant afford heating. isn't the worst place to go but isn't really the best. i'm currently on route to fail some of my GCSEs. silly punishments .

I have read the reviews and comment as follows, l along with others had a problem with some of the students l went to visit the school to get it sorted. The teaching staff were very professional and listened to the problem and it was sorted by going through the proper channels and the head of year even made a follow up call to tell me the action that had been taken. However during that visit l witnessed some of the students having no respect for school starting times, no respect for the teachers, no respect for other staff, no respect for the school uniform, and behaving in such a manner that some of them obviously had an attitude problem. I am certain that not all students are like this but before you condone teachers perhaps the problem is somewhere else? Do you really think that teachers put gum on tables?

It is the worst school in the area it has gone down hill the teachers are terrible and dont know how to handle the range of ages that go to the school overall it is a bad school !

had the absolute worst time at this school (still in it). got made fun of for having a different accent, people there are racist n rude. teachers give detentions for stupid things.

worst school ever. The teachers doesn't teach properly and the students are just so annoying ffs, my teacher is always on her phone while the whole class is messing around and she allow us to use our phones. How the heck are we gonna learn? ive met some racist teachers as well.

To be fair, this school was misunderstood. To be honest, the school is nice. Just try and give them a chance.
