Manda Huevos is by far, without a doubt, *the* best take-away eatery within a 10 mile radius. The local, fresh ingredients truly make the difference, and anything you'll pick from the menu is guaranteed to be great. Pablo and his partner are both incredibly passionate cooks; from tortillas to empanadas, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. I would particularly encourage you NOT to skip desert - the leche frita is something else.

First time visiting this week - absolutely incredible! The quality of the tortilla was excellent, and the homemade sauces really complemented the meal. The crisps are simply the tastiest crisps I've had in a long, long time. Will definitely be back. Excellent place. Visited some more times and this is really a hidden gem. They cook for kids now too 🙂

This was incredibly tasty!!! I had the Imberica tortilla, cheese and chorizo croquettes and freshly made crisps. The aioli sauce was awesome. This place is now on my top lunchtime treat list!

Great selection of fantastic, freshly made Spanish food. Have been there several times, ordering something different with each visit and the food never disappoints. Only criticism I have is that the portion sizes could be a bit bigger as the food does leave you wanting more!

I’ve been recommended this local place a couple of times so I thought I’d give it a go. We ordered via Just Eat for collection. This place is certainly a hidden gem. It’s a little off the beaten track which I love. It’s nice to see everything locally produced/freshly grown. The food was good but the service was what stood out for me. They were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Since it was my first time they gave me a free croquette which was very kind of them. The croquettes are nice and very creamy. They also added a couple of additional croquettes since I had to wait a little longer for a my order. I enjoyed the food more than my wife because she thought they were a little cheesy for her. The homemade garlic mayo was very strong. Perhaps a little too strong for some but I loved it. Chips were nice enough, maybe a little soft for my liking. Our main dishes were very good. I’d like to come back and try the lunch menu.

We love Manda Huevos! Pablo and his wife are amazing people who make amazing food. Their boxes are extremely good value for a quick lunch time snack. They also offer delivery to Edinburgh, last night we shared tapas with friends and family everyone loved the food. Food arrived on time, cooked to perfection using local ingredients. A little bit of Spain in Scotland 😍.

We came across Manda Huevos quite by surprise several months ago and recently came back because the food was superb and service so friendly. Having lived in Spain many years, it’s also been been difficult to find authentic regional Spanish food in Edinburgh. Highly recommend the Galician empanadillas (tuna especially), croquettes and, if you’re up for dessert, the leche frita and Basque burnt cheesecake!

If you are planning a day out in the Pentland hills you should get your take away lunch from these guys! I would definitely recommend this place! Very passionate people! 😍

Weekly lunch treat (is it tortilla Thursday yet?). Tasty tortillas from a quirky little booth in the middle of Easter Bush? Who knew! Can't decide which tortilla is best, including fluffy cheesy yummyness that is croquettes. And home made crisps from local potatoes! Don't count the calories, just enjoy! And Pablo the owner is a hoot, too!😉

Really tasty tortillas and lovely people!. The spicy chorizo one was amazing, as well as the croquettes. And please, try the garlic sauce when ordering, because it is strong and tasty, as it should be. Being Spanish and loving tortilla, I can definitely recommend them!

Ordered a box deal for lunch, it was a fulfilling meal indeed. The hand cut crisps were amazing, super thin and crispy. Spicy chorizo tortilla was really good too. Pablo is super friendly and offers great service!

Visited yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and it exceeded expectations! I appreciate food that has care and attention and this had it. Had the Escocesa Picante (Jupiter) between three of us. Had half, all so impressed we then went and finished the rest. Owner is big on using local good quality ingredients where possible. This will now be a regular thing for us.

Ordered a lunch box with a piece each of cheese and onion tortilla and cheese and chorizo tortilla which was served with two croquettes, hand cut crisps and garlic salsa. Everything is freshly made and utterly delicious. Pablo was very friendly and helpful, will definitely go again!

Freshest local produce and the most tastiest Spanish tapas. We are in love with them and their food. Wee tasty lunch with a side of the best homemade hot crisp s you will ever taste. Pablo is an absolute treasure, so kind and friendly. GO THERE and munch the munchiest food!! Xx

My friend and I attended on 18 January 2024 and met the lovely Pablo. He gave us a box of their crisps to try while we waited. We ordered the cheese croquettes and tortilla. The croquettes were delicious but the tortilla was even more amazing. I highly recommend this place, will definitely return soon.

A real hidden gem! I was recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. Fantastic food & fantastic service. It was our first time here so we were given some things to try before buying, and everything was delicious! All the ingredients are locally sourced which makes it even better. I'll definitely be visiting again and, to anyone wondering if it's worth the trip out to roslin - it 1000% is !!! (They also deliver... but then you don't get the 10/10 service!)

If I could summarise my experience at Manda Huevos in one word, it’s this: joyful. But where to begin? We pulled into an unassuming car park and walked to the wall kiosk. The chef popped his head out of the window and greeted my friend - exuding joy and excitement to share his food with people. We were immediately asked if we had any dietary requirements and given free samples (which I think I may have just melted there and then because they were so delicious). The food was absolutely perfect, delicious, it was piping hot so it was still nice and warm when we got home to eat it, and it was just totally delicious. My friend later tells me about how all the food is locally sourced - which is just another amazing bonus. After a super long and tiring day, I’d walked up to that window tired and dejected BUT I left feeling excited about enjoying food with my friend and having a lovely night ahead. The charm of this place is that everyone, even strangers, are treated like regulars and friends. I’ll definitely be coming back (even if it takes me five hours to get here from my native town of South Shields, England.) Don’t visit Scotland for the sweeping views and the rich history - visit for Manda Huevos.

This has got to be one of the best places for food in Midlothian/Scotland! From the Belgian style triple-cooked chips (made from locally sourced potatoes) to the cheesy croquettes and the mouth-watering Basque cheesecake, it is every food-lovers dream! (Don’t get me started on the delicious homemade salsa and tortillas!) We first went to try out their food on my due date and were met by the incredibly friendly and helpful Pablo who told us all about the dishes, and ingredients…accompanied by some delicious tasters to whet our appetite. Since having our baby, we have returned again and again - and have sent many a-visiting relative over to pick us up some more Spanish delights - it has truly become a family staple of our home! Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for some fantastic food made with locally sourced ingredients by incredible people

Awesome take away experience. Got my tortilla and basque cheesecake directly at home, to enjoy a true spanish dinner. The juicy classic tortilla I could have every day, but the surprise came with the cheesecake, for the multitude of different flavors arising during each bite. 100 % will repeat it.

Beautiful tortillas with fresh ingredients! Milk, eggs and potatoes all sourced locally! Awesome handmade crisps. A treat when I'm working in the lab :D Always great to chat to the owners, they're super nice!

What a find, how did I not know about this place! Beautiful tasty authentic Spanish fast food cooked using local ingredients with passionate friendly service. We were even given some free samples to try! You must go and try this place. Seriously, you will not be disappointed! Its tucked around the back of the innovation centre but plenty of signage! We will definitely be regular visitors! Estupendo!!!

Can’t recommend Manda Huevos enough, from the moment Pablo moved into the innovation centre he has brought Spanish food and energy that the centre had been lacking. From hand cut crisps to locally sourced produce and even spicy salsa dip he has it all!! If you are in the area you cannot overlook this hidden gem, not your usual cafe selling you a soggy panini but instead delicious Spanish Tortillas perfectly cooked with perfect Scottish ingredients.

If I could rate this place more than 5 stars then I would. Even if it was just for the excellent customer service (it helps that the food is brilliant) Pablo is the most friendliest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, he’ll always have a good conversation with you. What makes the place stand out so much is the diversity of the menu and gives you something so delicious and different to your usual eateries and it’s great that they use local produce. I’ve been along twice for the weekends they’ve been doing and will be returning for the weekday lunches. Excellent grub and very fair prices. Pablo always wants to make sure you’re going to enjoy whatever it is they are serving and always goes over and above for customer satisfaction:)

Delicious take-away food (I believe they do delivery too), with friendly and welcoming service who noticed I was new and gave me recommendations on what to get ☺️ Reasonable price for a filling lunch. I also recommend their cheese cake dessert, its the best I’ve had - a creamy texture but not overly sweet.

Fresh ingredients turned into delicious meals with passion. This takeaway place makes fresh Spanish tortillas with locally sourced produce. It is small but the wait times aren't that long. The people are very nice and they asked for allergies straight away which was very professional. There is also cheesecake for desert which is really tasty. I'm giving 5 stars because it has the right idea, making local delicious meals with good service. As an improvement, I would like to have a small salad option to cut through the otherwise carb (potato) heavy meal. Overall, for us working around here it offers a tasty option and I agree with the other 5 star reviews.
