Went in to have some new wheels swapped over… efficient and friendly service and a great price. My new local go to bike shop!

Had a chain snap on me in Walton and limped to Cranq. Not only was the chain replaced there and then, a niggling long standing problem with the gear cable adjuster was noticed, diagnosed and repaired at the same time. I will be going again to at least try the coffee.

I recently had my bike serviced by them and I've found them to be attentive and genuinely interested in ensuring that you get a good service. They have been generous with their time in follow ups and are always friendly and professional. I've yet to try their coffee so I could well be revising this to a one star review if it's wretched.

The best service you could want. I needed a fixed spoke and a new tyre and even though they had no new ones in stock they managed to find one with a slight defect they wouldn't charge me for and fix the spoke and true the wheel with only parts charged as I was in the middle of a charity ride for Ukraine. Really impressed - highly recommended

Great guys!!! Really look after you. I’ve had my Cube Agree road bike fully serviced from them and it’s like brand new. Any minor issues they have sorted out immediately. Great service highly recommended

Mechanic has been extremely generous on past occasions with repairs and always delivered. Personally, I prefer to go to bike shops which aren't halfords (not to say they're bad) however given bike shops are self employed and have a sense of community which I feel Halfords lack they will go that bit further for you. Albeit my bike is from Halfords, Cranqs will give you a more honest and overall professional job. Moreover, in my opinion, bike shops like Cranqs have a two way connection between the individual and mechanic in that they take that bit extra care and are apart of cycling community themselves and cyclists (like muself) will be more trustworthy of their service. As at times I feel Halfords aren't entirely sure on what to do or just rip you off and they don't fully appreciate cycling like that of your local bike shop. As said about mechanic being generous, he has at times gone above and beyond creating a very very happy customer! As of this Cranqs will always be my first choice if I need a helping hand! In other words, if you are getting withdrawal symptoms from cycling because you have mechanical problem(s) and are eager to get back on bike and smash some KOMs and QOMs go to cranqs. They will welcome your bike with loving arms

Booked in day before bringing my bike in as needed my front derailleur serviced. It’s is all done via text, there is an initial consultation when you bring your bike in, when you leave any work comes through and you have to accept before anything it done. My bike was ready to pick up a few hours later and I am happy with the service provided and my front derailleur is shifting well now. Staff are polite and atmosphere is friendly. Price was reasonable & I would definitely recommend. Overall very happy with this and will be going again.

Excellent knowledge and helpfulness. All items in stock AND cheaper than the mainstream shops. Support the independent operators.

Called up with a suspected broken wheel frame and had it looked at 30 mins later. Tested and trued the wheel on a bank holiday. Really nice guy with a good set up, coffee and drinks available. Good luck!

Took bike here as had problem with tubeless tyres that had been done by another shop after taking back twice was told couldn't do anymore blames the wheels, anyway these guys sorted the problem for me and while the bike was there i had a service with new chain , bottom bracket , brakes done a few other bits was given quote beforehand and once agreed work was done quickly . When got i bike back like its made a huge improvement can really tell the difference (only thing doesn't do is make me faster ;). Delighted with the work done a fully recommended these guys , price reasonable as well , oh and good up of coffee .

Very efficient and helpful staff. They provide an excellent service with a good turn around to ensure that the bike is back on the road working mechanically and safe to ride.

Treat with caution. You can’t fault their customer service but I’m unsure on the experience and quality of the work. Having spent nearly £200 getting the bike serviced (including rear wheel bearings being serviced due to water damage) it had to be return several times as it wasn’t running correctly. I’ve since had a quote back from Fettle who have said the bearings are completely worn which have destroyed the rear wheel. So now I need a new wheel and looking at even more extensive costs. In my opinion, lovely place, lovely people but go somewhere else for expert advice and to save money in the long run.

Great place to get bike work done. Fair prices and nice people! I'm used to bike shop employees looking down on people and coming across very elitist. Nothing of the sort at CranQ! Great to be within walking distance too!

Found this shop today on Google - I hadn't realised they had opened. The guys were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; took my bike in and returned the same day. Communication throughout the day was excellent. I was really impressed with the level of service and the general atmosphere of the store. Coffee was great too :) Very happy this place is open in Walton!

I went here to get my spoke change perhaps even my wheel after being told by another shop it might need a whole new one but I would have to wait a week. But glad I did come here as he was polite and said I only needed a spoke, which I was glad to here, so didn't cost me much at all and he did it in under 30 min!! Highly recommend!

Great place. No issues booking in. Assessed the bike and recommended what needed doing but allowed me to decide what did and didn't get done. Great communication from the guys over delays with parts which were out of their control. Thoroughly recommend Cranq to anyone needing bike servicing or repairs. First class!

I took my bike in for service and was delighted. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Service was carried out in a few hours. When I picked my bike up. It felt like I was riding a new bike. I had not realised how much it needed servicing. On the cycle home after its service I fell back in love with my bike and remembered how much I love cycling. I would highly recommend them.

Professional, friendly, quality service. Booked my bike in for a full service after hearing of them opening up and I’m glad I did. Really professional from the first confirmation of my booking right through to collecting. Competitively priced, great communication throughout with updates of any work required and advice. Will be using again! Bike is in great condition and all work carried out to a high standard. Thank you guys
