When I searched for travel vaccination or PCR test, most of the ads that cme up provided no services anywhere near me. It's hard to know who to trust. But this is the place my GP sent me for a yellow fever vaccination, and I have kept using them for pre-flight PCR tests. They are truly wonderful. James (the owner) is very knowledgeable about travel, and spent a lot of time with me figuring out if I actually needed the yellow fever vaccination. He gave me better advice than I was able to get from days of research online and from speaking with my GP. He even gave me great travel tips for my destination. For my PCR test, the team were incredibly careful to ensure that I was taking the right test and in sufficient time, and then very diligent in making sure that I got my results, sending not just the test by email but leaving me two followup phone messages. What a kind and careful service! The clinic is also just a few minutes walk from the Exeter Central train station, so you don't need to drive into Exeter. My only suggestion is that the website could be better, and their phone system doesn't work so well. But if you leave a message or send an email, they always get back to you quickly. In a travel environment that is particularly stressful, I am so pleased to have such a rock solid provider. I can't praise them highly enough.

I cannot recommend and thank James and his team more highly. After being let down by a national company. They pulled rabbits out of hats to produce our PCR certificates in time for our holiday. Absolutely 1st class service within 12 hours of initial contact. Just WOW!!!!

I was in a tricky situation with some work required testing for an American employer. Normally this annual testing is performed on one of my trips to America each year. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic this trip was not possible, however the testing requirement was still there. I was referred to The Exeter Travel Clinic and was 100% pleased and impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to help me out. I had an appointment quickly and had the testing results back to me quickly and efficiently. Being a 30 year critical care healthcare manager I watch and observe everything going on around me during Dr. visits, Hospital Appointments, etc. I have to say that it was reassuring to see just how detail oriented they were. From meticulously washing hands the proper way, to patient prep, and finally the collection of the blood samples. Every patient safety and infection control prevention guideline was followed to the letter. Thank you James for being so helpful, professional, and for following all of the safety and infection control guidelines that I would expect from my own team. Highly recommended for your travel vaccinations and other travel health advice or concerns. Good value for money as cheaper than several other places we looked. Will definitely be back if needed for future holidays.

Dealt with Olivia at the clinic. Absolutely brilliant service. The only clinic within 100's of miles radius to do a particular TB test which my daughter needed for a year abroad and Olivia managed to get us in promptly to complete the test in time for her application. Added extra tests last minute and this was no trouble. All in all a professional and seamless service. Very appreciative. Thank you

We very highly recommend. Very helpful and friendly and give very sound evidence based advice even when it is difficult news. My partner had a condition that meant it was unsafe for him to hike at altitude. This prompted us to speak with his consultant. Without the advice from the travel clinic we would not have done this. Whilst this necessitated a change to our plans, we are very grateful indeed for the knowledge and candour of the nurse we spoke with. Thank you

Absolutely excellent clinic. Incredibly knowledgeable. Took all the time needed to deal with requirements, and then explaining the balance of risks. I had six vaccinations, in three combined injections and his technique was perfect. Literally didn't know I had had the injections. Would recommend without any reservations whatsoever. And a pleasure to deal with.

These guys are amazing, Mr James Moore in particular 🤩 My wife and I had idiotically not realised that we needed a yellow fever certificate to get into Zambia as we had a long stop over in Nairobi on the way, this was just 2 days before we were due to fly! We called and emailed the clinic in a flustered panic and amazingly James emailed back and told us to come in right away, this was at 8pm (very luckily for us the clinic sometimes stays open late on a Thursday ((top tip)) and James was legendary enough to invite us down on super short notice)! We got everything we needed in the end with some great advice thrown in for free. We have come away feeling ready and excited for our trip. Defo check in and see these guys before you set off to anywhere a little out of the ordinary! Cheeers ☺️

We arrived early at the practice just to clarify our appointment time. James was there and he kindly brought our appointment time forward as someone did not turn up. We found James a very knowledgeable person in a relaxed atmosphere. He could answer all our questions and advised us of all the vaccinations and tablets needed for our complex trip in South America, and now we can travel to our holiday fully confident that we are truly safe. Exceptional service every time! As someone who is very nervous for vaccinations and blood tests the staff here made me feel calm and so taken care of which I truly appreciate so much. All members of staff are amazing at what they do and the whole experience was a breath of fresh air compared with anywhere else I have had to go. Highly highly recommend

What a fantastic Clinic! Very good, free advice and consultation not only in regards to vaccinations but also general health issues in remote parts of the world. Doctor running it is well traveled man himself so you can be sure that you are getting first hand and to the point advice. Book early as they are very busy and some vaccinations need time to kick in. You also need some vaccinations done to have your travel insurance valid or to be allowed into some countries (yellow fever). Oh, and you will not find cheaper jabs anywhere close - I've quickly checked. They will also send you to your GP o have any vaccinations which are covered by NHS done "for free" (well, as part of your national health insurance).
