They do an absolutely marvelous job, in maintaining the centre, and looking after the Waterfowl in the area too. There's so many different types of species here, many of whome, we've never even seen before, even though we frequent visitor's of the countryside. Obviously the legendary Black Swans are nesting here too, and to follow the two nesting pairs, each with 3 tiny cynets in tow, 'was a rare opportunity, never to be missed, which outweighed all expectations', and was actually one of the highlights of my life, as well as the sighting, having this same spiritual significance too! Hoping to return anytime soon.

Brilliant work done by everyone involved in the project. Really enjoyed watching the antics of the waterfowl and their chicks.

So wonderful the care taken with the waterfowl. Beautiful little sanctuary in a busy little seaside town.

Not much to do other than look through the fence at a small enclosure full of ducks and geese. There is also a hatchery which is often full of ducklings at this time of year. You can easily pass 4 hours wondering around Dawlish on a nice day. The parking is cheap (compared to Swansea 😠) and the Waterfowl feature adds to the overall picture nicely.
