Got bites solidly throughout the day. Friendly locals and well laid out and clean. Biggest o caught was a common of about 7lb, but I saw much bigger ones in the top lake. Very reasonable priced (think it was about 5 or 6 quid for 2 rods). You pay on the way in, in an honesty envelope. The owner will come round and check.

I have been coming here for around a year now and have made good friends with the person who helps around the fishery tony. I always catch loads of great fish here, from 10lb carp which do go up to around 15 in the horseshoe, to smaller roach and perch for the more novice anglers. Tench and bream are also plentiful. If you're looking for a well kept fishery that Is packed with fish of all kinds, then I highly recommend you try here.

Never fails to provide this place, especially the canals. Was snapped off 4 times on there last week with one of the carp easily 15lb+ before it got under the platform. Well run, clean and excellently maintained lakes. Biggest mirror of the session was a mirror at 13lb 2 oz, (after deducting the weight of the net) all on 6mm pellets.

Been 3 times this year as I don't fish very often. Each time was enjoyable and successful. I'll be going again this week. It's now my favourite day fishery. Clean & well kept. Good parking near to the water which is good for the less mobile. Great value - can't fault it, 👍👍😁

I text the owner the night before I went for some tips for tench and he was happy to help. I caught a mixed bag on the horseshoe lake, including the tench id been after as well as carp. The scenery is picturesque and the place is kept to a high standard. Other anglers were very friendly and likewise had a few tips. Overall I think it’s a great place to fish and I can see it becoming a local go to for me.

I have fished Wrightington for 25 years and it’s a very picturesque well manicured fishery. The Horseshoe for pleasure anglers has plenty of silvers, Tench and Carp to well into double figures. Rivington view has the same but a wider expanse and very well maintained pegs and great island to fish to stocked with everything and huge Perch 😉 Then there’s the stunning canals and very well stocked with Carp, Silvers, F1’s and more, give it a go it’s a great fishery Jonathan

Went for the 3rd time today and fished the big lake. Literally caught all day. First chuck at least a 10lb common and it just carried on all day. Only slight gripe is the pegs are quite narrow so can be tricky getting out of your chair and off the peg.

Been here a number of times recently and it never fails. Caught carp over 10Ib and a number over 7Ibs. Nicely looked after to with good pegs. There's 4 ponds/ canals to fish.

Went for the first time today. Fished the horseshoe lake next to the lily pads. Caught a great mix bag of commons, mirrors, tench and some roach. Biggest was a carp at 8lbs but definitely lost a lot bigger on my light tackle. All on 6 and 8 mill pellets. Will be returning soon. Parking is close to the pegs. There is a toilet on site.

Had a great days fishing on the first lake yesterday. Unseasonably warm so I decided to make the most of it. Had the lake to myself all day and caught Roach, Bream and a few Tench all on corn. Some big carp knocking about too but I didn't manage one. 8 quid for the day, toilets on site, ample parking and good pegs. Loved it and I'll be back again most likely in the new year.

Great 4 hours today with 50+ fish, never seen so many lovely tench from 12Oz to 2lb. Lots of skimmers with the odd full blown bream and roach from a couple of ounces to a pound.

Absolute amazing place set in lovely peaceful surroundings, Paul is a real credit to this awesome fishery, really helpful and the fishing equally amazing. Tips wise Bomb Rod out in the middle feeding 8mm pellets every 20-30 seconds. Keep the feed going in also prime your margins with a mixture of groundbait pellet and corn as the pictures show, Them munters move in later on in the afternoon. Double sweetcorn down the margins

A nicely laid out fishery with easy access to all pools from the well situated carparks along clean hard paths. Ideal for lesser able bodied anglers! Crammed full of fish, of which some aren't easy to catch, but there is something there for everyone. On site toilet too.
