Great plants and wonderful customer service! I live in Australia so sending a gift, while supporting a local business can often have its challenges but Hutch Houseplants made it so easy. I messaged them directly for some assistance with a pot which they quickly responded to with lots of options. Thanks so much to Lucie & Rob, your quick responses and attention to detail was awesome.. Lovely independent house plant shop. Brilliant mix of small, developed and even large house plants - ranging from a few pounds to over a hundred. Mixture of different types of plants, tall, short, broad leaf, cactuses, terraniums - everything to fill a space or room. Also has a selection of pots and plant accessories. Staff are exceedingly knowledgeable on the plants and can help you find the right one. Only minor issue, and is not a reflection on the shop but there’s a step to get in and it is a cost shop making disabled access tricky but not impossible.

Me and my partner love this shop! Always a great experience whenever we have visited in the past and the team always have the best advice for the vast range of plants they sell. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing service. The team are super helpful, resourceful and full of knowledge. The plants themselves are always beautiful and looked after well. One of the best independent shops Exeter has to offer and one of the best houseplants stores that I've visited.

The place is stunning and most of my houseplants are from there now (happy, healthy and thriving), they have a wide range of knowledge and plants, including those on the rare side! They have tool, pots, books and soil which makes it a one stop shop! I always come out with a smile (and a plant or two).

Needed to buy 24 easy care plants for an office space with a tight turnaround for delivery. Put a few things in my basket then emailed the store to get their expert opinion - they were really helpful in offering a few tweaks to my order based on stock levels and light levels in the space. Had them delivered to London and they arrived in perfect condition, really well wrapped and boxed so no messy soil everywhere when unwrapping - all in eco friendly packaging too. Everyone was really impressed with the quality, value and service. Thank you Hutch!

Go here right now! Yes, it’s beautiful and there are wonderful options ranging in price points but the reason I love this shop is because of the staff. I’m a house plant beginner with lots of questions and the staff is not only helpful and knowledgeable but they don’t make me feel dumb for not knowing things. This is the least snobby plant shop I’ve ever visited and I’ll keep spending my money there because the people are so kind.

I recently visited this wonderful store and bought an alocasia. It is thriving and already sprouting a new leaf. The plants are varied and in tip top condition and the staff could not be more helpful. I highly recommend this shop.
