Absolutely brilliant! Clean and well cared for reptiles friendly and knowledgeable staff especially the young lad that took the time to show us as many royal pythons as wanted to see without rushing us or making us feel like we were wasting his time. Thanks to him we chose one a banana mojave, even tho this is our 2nd royal he went through everything with us like feeding, housing and all the important information we needed so couldn’t be happier well worth the drive from Reading and will definitely be coming back, thank you again 👌🏻👍🏻

Got my beautiful boy, Muffen from here! He's a Mexican Red knee. They also offer a "spider hotel" for when you go on holiday or someone comes round who is scared 🤣 Amazing staff, super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Phone them up on the regular to ask for advice or if I'm worried about my Tarantula.

Took my grandson there to handle some spiders & snakes etc on a special day for the kids. Went on a Wednesday during the summer holidays. Staff were very friendly & interacted perfectly with the kids. Great atmosphere & such a good idea to do for the kids. My Grandson loved it. What a great place to get all your reptile stuff etc. Very big place to mooch around.

Just wanted to say how pleased we are from the service we have received have at Southampton reptile. I have previously bought an Albino Hognose about 5 years ago and had the same Quality service! Mikey helped me and my partner purchasing a Banana Pinstripe Ball Python and gave us a great deal and was very informative! We drove one hour and thirty minutes and despite how busy it was we always felt like a priority and being well looked after. Will be coming back for all reptile needs despite having shops closer. You can not put a price on service!!

Fab reptile shop, the animals are clean and well cared for, plenty of food being fed to them. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, got to hold a couple of geckos before actually buying one!! Brilliant shop!

This is a fantastic place to visit staff are really friendly and there stock is always really good were not so local from this place but decided its where we're going to go from now on we brought an amazing viv from here for our bearded dragoon and wanted a few extra bits added on which they were more than happy to build and install for us plus its always a pleasure to come and see all there reptiles. They certainly know what there on about and happy to give advice when asked.

Found this gem when I went to visit a friend in Southampton. Their set ups were amazing you could tell they put the animal first. The staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable.

Had a fantastic experience with Southampton Reptile. We made several visits and interacted with various members of staff in order to purchase our beautiful beardie. The staff were incredible and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible advice and even threw in some extras. We were difficult customers on collection as without transport it resulted in making two employees stay behind for 15 minutes whilst waiting for a taxi :( Sorry about that!! Nothing was too much trouble, and I'm very happy to become a future regular here. Thank you!

Friendly staff, every single staff member in there is highly knowledgeable, they value their customers, regular or not, and I will always choose Southampton reptile as my go to supplier for any reptile livestock and supplies. They go above and beyond with their animal care, unlike places like pets at home they know about each and every animal they’re selling, they can tell you about the care of that animal, and their pricing is reasonable. Enclosures are always clean and animals well cared for. Couldn’t be happier that Southampton Reptile is my local!

Amazing shop, really helpful staff. Animals are always clean and look happy and well looked after. Recently brought a tortoise and compleat set up from them. Happy to drive the 40 mins to get here for anything we need for our animals

Brilliant shop which cares for its stock as if they are their own collection which was good to see. Friendly informative staff. Will definitely use when looking for more reptiles myself. Would recommend a visit to all reptile interested people.

Purchased our first Arizona blonde tarantula spider here, staff were well knowledgeable and very helpful, very friendly too, they gave me all the information I needed, and set up my vivarium ready for my collection. Very happy customer and would definitely recommend Southampton Reptile Centre xx

These guys and girls are the best! If you ever need anything reptile /food/questions? These are the ones to listen to! I've had snakes, spiders etc etc any little issue I may have there's nobody else I'd even contemplate to talk to! Extremely clean and tidy! Sooo polite and friendly, always buzzing around like bees, I really wish I could nab the Brazilian black tarantula? But the wife won't let me! 😭Disabled friendly, just social distance and clean your hands before walking in, remember speak to these chaps first before! Seriously you will not be disappointed!! 5**

Absolutely amazing! Every person in this shop have helped us out no end with this being our daughters first reptile, they helped fit out the viv properly, showed us how to feed, price matched and went above and beyond to provide us with a wealth of information even tested products we had previously purchased elsewhere to make sure they were working correctly for us. We wont being going anywhere else from now on. Excellent service. Highly recommend :)

Staff greet with a smile. They always seem happy to explain things im not sure about and have gone out of their way to help without being pushy. Nice setups and some really cool animals like their tree monitors :) Love this place

The staff here are very knowledgeable helpful always smiling and have time for any questions or queries I've had. Good food stock aswell I've never had to go elsewhere keep up the good work.

Friendly, knowledgeable and the most amazing creatures! So hard to leave with just supplies for our leo geck and not come home with a new family member! We got our leo from here as a baby and he's now over a year. They are great for supplies and advice. Passionate bunch. Our wee man in photo...out of his enclosure for dinner.

Nice selection of exotics and well stocked in accessories. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable too. However, they are overly expensive. For example, a heat mat was £33 from them...the same heatmat was over £10 cheaper elsewhere. Handy for convenience of buying accessories if you need it ASAP but if not in a hurry for bits and bobs, internet shopping will literally save you £££

Best reptile shop I've ever been to (I've been to a few!!) Very clean, well stocked, the animals in there are well looked after and their enclosures are clean, staff always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The insects I feed my geckos are always good quality and alive .

People are really helpful and friendly, went in there to do reptile boarding and they answered all my questions and looked after the beared dragon without any issues and told us how well she was while we were gone. Would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in getting a reptile.

Such a hidden gem. Amazing little shop. Huge range of stock and reptiles. The staff were so helpful and friendly and very informative on all the reptiles. Ended up rehoming a rescue beardie. Would recommend to all reptile lovers.

Brilliant service at Southampton Reptile in getting me my crested gecko, who I’ve now named Remi! Tom helped me with making sure my vivarium was ready to go, and answered any questions I had regarding care, as did Mikey who also helped me pick out Remi out of so many beautiful cresties in store.

Absolutely amazing staff in this store!! I've bought my tarantulas here the guys are so knowledgeable. They always have the best feeders for my Chinese water dragon, bearded dragon, 2 chameleons, my python and my 10 tarantulas. They give great advice and if they don't know something they will tell you straight, and they will always try keep costs down while still giving you the correct set ups!

Amazing people! My fruit flies didn’t hatch properly and they gave me a new one, rare to have genuine good services these days, these guys are awesome!
