Very
disappointing
experience.
With
the
hyped
up
language
I’d
seen
used
on
the
website,
I
thought
a
lesson
at
TeeBox
would
be
the
perfect
gift
for
my
golf-mad
fiancé’s
30th
birthday.
Upon
arrival,
we
shocked
at
how
make-shift
and
small
the
venue
is.
Similar
type
facilities
in
other
parts
of
the
country
are
far
more
welcoming
and
well
designed.
Fraser,
who
we
booked
in
with
seemed
almost
surprised
at
us
arriving
for
our
booking,
informing
us
that
he
was
“meant
to
be
on
reception”
but
preceded
to
do
the
lesson
with
Cam.
We
were
almost
made
to
feel
like
he
was
doing
us
a
favour
by
still
running
the
lesson
(which
I’d
booked
3
months
prior!).
There
was
zero
acknowledgment
of
it
being
my
Cam’s
birthday
despite
the
fact
this
was
clearly
stated
when
I
booked,
Fraser
even
pointed
out
when
Cam
registered
on
the
data
system
that
“I
don’t
need
to
know
your
date
of
birth”
…
wow,
really
special!
The
lesson
itself
was
fine
in
its
content
and
Cam
said
he
picked
up
some
pointers
from
Fraser
however
did
note
how
engaging
his
approach
was.
It
took
until
30
mins
into
the
60
min
lesson
for
Fraser
to
give
Cam
(who
is
6ft
4)
a
taller
putter,
with
the
whole
first
half
conducted
with
a
tiny
putter
which
Cam
would
never
use
-
it
didn’t
feel
very
expert!
Lastly,
if
you
plan
to
go
along
and
join
/
watch
your
friend
on
one
of
these
lessons,
don’t!
There
is
zero
space
in
this
cramped
facility
for
guests,
I
had
to
sit
on
a
bench
which
was
taken
up
with
bags
and
coats
-
no
space
for
anyone
to
spectate
whatsoever.
Overall,
TeeBox
was
the
lowlight
of
my
partner’s
birthday
weekend
and
I
wished
I’d
spent
the
£90
that
I
paid
for
the
putting
lesson
on
something
more
memorable
-
not
the
“golf
dungeon”
as
my
partner
referred
to
it
as!
