😠 I'd like to say what absolutely appalling customer service I received tonight from staff member Dawn. On arrival I shared I had purchased a pipe, without asking what my question or dialema was she instantly told me she couldn't help me, I asked if she knew who could? She said no, I comment that this... People often mention kitchen, staff, store, Wickes, good, find, stock, asked, great, paint,

I'd like to say what absolutely appalling customer service I received tonight from staff member Dawn. On arrival I shared I had purchased a pipe, without asking what my question or dialema was she instantly told me she couldn't help me, I asked if she knew who could? She said no, I comment that this was not good customer service, she replied that she was not a plumber so didnt know. I found this shocking as she had no clue why I was returning to the store and what my question was! She then asked "well what do you want" I chose to walk away as she clearly was putting up an argument as to the multiple reasons why she would not help me. She then followed me to the plumbing area and shouted a staff member if they knew anything about plumbing...I corrected her and asked if she could find out if anyone knew about materials in which the store she worked at sold. Purely rude and unhelpful with a bad attitude, no need what so ever. A friendly customer overheard the conversations and was able to help me. Shame on your Karen ...I mean Dawn!

Very wide selection of kitchen displays and bathrooms, helpful staff and very clean and bright layout in store. Car park was a bit of a mess though, disabled bays had a lot of debris in and mud.

I rang Wickes at 7.45am for a stock check on some sleepers, I was informed they had 82, on arrival we couldn't find them and asked a lady behind the till for help. She eventually found them and we bought what was on the shop floor. We then asked to purchase another 14, the lovely lady asked a male college, he then went to find the fork lift driver. A new pallet was brought into the store and we completed our £400 purchase. I'd like to say a great big thank you to all the staff that made our shopping experience pleasurable today. You are all a credit to the company. We will definitely be back.

If its building materials and trade in this particular Wickes yea its great. If youare looking for a new kitchen, great, but for yiur day to day DIY and particular decorating needs then try elsewhere. Yes they stock the barw minimim of the Dulux paint range, but only just. Its disjointed in its display paint wise, gloss paint choice again is limited in its stock range and type. Not a pleasant place to shop at all. Want some of your choice of colour mixed in their Dulux mixer? Be prepared for a hike right around the store to find someone to do it. Its nit just a one off visit Im reviewing here, its just the way this particular Wickes is. Trade yiu are fine, diy enthusiast you are fine, but otherwise nope. Personally speaking if you have transport drive out to one of the other DIY stores 4 to 5 miles away any ditection if you have the time.

The staff here today, especially the ladies at check out and the young man who also helped, were so helpful, I can't praise them enough. These three employees are a credit to the store. They went above and beyond to help me out. I'm so grateful.

Didn't mind when Aldi used to be cheap, but even a quick shop is over £30 now.

After 2h spent inside of the shop I ended up with a car park FINE. I spent over 600£ plus an £100 car park fine as BONUS. Aah...at least 30 mins spent with the staff as they couldn't find barcode, measuring, counting my construction plasterboards and so on. Slow🐌 What a great team!

Same paint, same colour, same number, same shop and yet different shades ?!!! Walls ruined because now I have to stand and re-paint the fulll wall again because of this. Absolutely ridiculous wouldn’t recommend if you want to touch up your walls and getting a new tub to do it exactly the same apparently..

Don't be fooled into thinking buying from a big brand name will guarantee you good service. As a first-time buyer, I wanted a brand new kitchen fitted, one that would last a long time. I decided to buy from Wickes, a big mistake! In short. The kitchen designer came out to measure the space to make sure the kitchen would fit. He had the whole day to do this. When my kitchen arrived, I got a call at work from the fitters informing me the kitchen did not fit. I rang the designer who just acted surprised. He clearly hadn't bothered to measure the space. The design then had to be changed to accommodate this, so the kitchen I expected to be getting was modified. I was told the installation would last one week, it took over a year! wrong parts were sent, the fitters had to go onto other jobs leaving my kitchen unfinished. I had sockets hanging off the walls. Appliances installed incorrectly. My washing machine kept flooding because of this. I couldn't fix the sockets myself as it was deemed a health & safety issue. I was told if I got my own electrician this would void my insurance with Wickes. My fridge was not fitted with a vent so was overheating which would cause the motor to burn out. Just endless problems. I literally had to chase this company for the corrections to be made, to the point I had to contact the manufacturers myself and get engineers to write reports to send to Wickes. It was unbelievable. To this day I'm stuck with £300+ extractor fan that does not work correctly. I had multiple health & safety issues with the kitchen, from the washing machine not being fixed and falling forward - it was also connected incorrectly so that dirty water from the sink would backflow into the drum. Electrical cables being left uncovered and exposed to moisture. Sockets hanging off the walls. The whole thing dragged on for over a year. Most of my correspondence was with a man called "Alex De Souza -Service Specialist". I never once received an apology from him and he constantly tried to downplay the seriousness of the issues I was having with my kitchen. Instead, he made it clear I was only receiving help from the company as I was still within my warranty and closed my case, no offer of a refund on the extractor fan. Had I not been within the warranty, I would have been left completely high and dry by Wickes. I paid a huge amount of money for a terrible experience and a kitchen that was not worth that value. It actually put me off getting people in to do further renovations on my property as I just didn't want this kind of hassle ever again. The pictures show the condition my kitchen was left "finished" in. Two of the images also show how the pipes were fitted incorrectly (image 1) & how they were repositioned (image 2).

Great, friendly and helpful staff. First time I had shopped here, not knowing there's a maximum Car Park time limit of 90 minutes. I received a £95 ticket but the Duty Manager cancelled it for me. Maybe helped by the fact that I had spent over £200 in the store! 🤔

Just returned wickes two half litre pure brilliant gloss which turned out to be a yellowish colour. Attitude of lady on customer service not good at all. Thought she was sucking a lemon by the sour look on her face

Apart from the women on the checkout being more interested in texting someone on her phone than serving, it was ok and found what I was looking for.. very unprofessional customer service!!

Travelled 38 miles for a door which their website said they had. Got there and they didn't have it although it was still listed as being in stock. It's such a simple thing to scan bar codes to keep stock records up to date. Total waste of time

Click and collect was a bit of a shambles, involved joining the regular checkout queue and then took 10 minutes to find my order. Would have been quicker and spent far less time in the store holding up other customers behind me if I'd just gone gone in and shopped as normal.
