Totally gutted that I have to write this review. Scaped nature, for a long time, was our favourite shop in Norwich. A genuine side step from the busy city, where you could visit to enjoy the beauty of underwater gardening (aquascaping) or buy yourself a lovely terrarium. This shop kickstarted our internet in aquascaping into an actual hobby. The tanks were beautifully kept, maintained and stocked, and the animals (fish, snails and shrimp) happy. I went in there today and it is an absolute travesty. The quality of the water is bad, the equipment is more poorly cleaned that I would expect from pets at home and the animals are scratching at the glass to get out. The enclosures are far too small for these animals and there are far too many animals fro such a small shop. There were stacks of boxes of animals, snakes looking depressed in small vivs and a few exotics that looked more depressed that shamu the whale. Another point is like to make is that both of the last two times I visited the shop, it has looked like a bomb had gone off. There are boxes and tanks and items all over the floor, aquasand bags split on the shelves, plants in the fridge that look like they almost entirely rotten away and the place just feels completely dismal. It’s such a shame that the change over from Ray and his lovely wife has caused such a spiral. I will have to resort to driving to another city to get my supplies from now on and I won’t be recommending this shop as a must visit to anyone else (which I always have in the past).

Great shop, Joe really helped me with finding the right hardscape for my aquascape. He was very knowledgeable and polite, 10/10 would definitely shop here again and recommend to anyone looking to bring a bit of nature inside their homes!

Beautiful store with a very knowledgeable owner really great stock of all the things youd need to make a beautiful natrual aquarium or a stunning terrarium. Will be back for more plants soon!

Beautiful shop combining my obsessions with both house plants and planted aquaria. Love the scapes, its an art gallery in itself. House plant prices are reasonable, if not comparable with the relative rubbish offered at supermarkets and garden centres. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the little betta fish is stunning!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Clearly know what they're talking about. Whether you want a small addition to a current set up or something completely new these guys can help.

What a wonderful shop. Well stocked, well presented, fantastic service with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. Such creativity and talent with store displays. Very easy to see how much passion go's into their work. If only this store was local to me, although I'm sure my wife would have a different opinion 😉 Can't wait for another road trip 👍

I have previously visited Scaped Nature and it was full of aquatic plants with great aquascapes. On my recent visit it seems the reptile and terrarium side of the business has taken over. I personally was very disappointed. Great shop if you aren't into aquascaping.

Visited for isopods and was not disappointed! Animals looked super healthy in proper tanks, way better cared for than any pet shop you'll visit. The staff were very helpful and prices were reasonable, they had a wide range and could answer any questions I had. Will visit again 👍

Highly recommend this shop the plants are always first class and nothing is to much trouble for the owner to help you chose the right plants for your tank. I used to buy my plants on line from a large retailer not any more as far as I am concerned nothing beats Scaped Nature.

Super helpful staff and an amazing shop. Entered as someone with basically no knowledge of terrariums and left with all the equipment to start building them (with no up selling pressure whatsoever) and a tonne of new information on what to do! I can't recommend Scaled Nature enough.

I brought a fantastic terrarium for a christmas gift. It was ready to collect only hours after I ordered and it looks fantastic. The gentleman that served me was so friendly and accommodated my need to have the box unlabeled. Have brought from scraped nature since and definitely will again.

Amazing shop with large range of scaping equipment a variety of rocks, wood, substrates and tools, with a scaping area to scale before purchasing items for your home aquarium, some beautifully scaped tanks, vivariums and terrariums to give ideas on naturalistic scapes you can build. A must visit for any fish or reptile hobbyist looking for a store to get there scaping supplies from.

I'm a complete beginner to aquascaping an aquarium. After a LOT of research I still wanted to make sure the plants I was buying would be suitable for my inexperience. Joe is extremely helpful and very polite. He assured me the plants I was looking to buy were hardy and even sent me photos of the bog wood he thought would be suitable for the simple scape I had in mind. Had a great experience buying rocks, wood and plants for an aquascape. All done over email and phone, but resident expert Joe dug out exactly what I wanted and spent time putting it together in a display so I could see what I was buying. Delighted with my purchase.
