Got a gift card went to use it but was told it had expired, although i did not know what date it was purchased , it stated that it had to be used 24 months after last transaction ,this card hadn't been used once so believed it to still be valid ,very disappointed as they have profited from this. By £20... did acknowledge that it still had £20 on it but would not honour this, I don't think i will ever want a gift card again. 😭

Absolute bunch of cowboys, Norwich shop is laughable. Stick to wensum valley angling in taverham, better staff that are so much more knowledgeable than the jokers in Norwich!

I could have felt daunted as a newbie. The float buffet is something to behold. Ask any of the staff for anything, however amateur it may feel, and they will help you out. They just love fishing. And have they got some quality kit.

Angling shops to me always seem dark, dingy places for the diehards to meet. This was a pleasure to wander around, light and airy, well stocked with helpful assistants. Good range of stock and priced sensibly. I also use their online shop as don't always fancy the long drive to my local branch, goods arrive by courier very promptly, with free delivery over a certain amount Excellent store, highly recommended

Don't expect great aftercare service, i've not had a single call back from them. On each occasion that I have chased them i have been promised a call back that day but it never comes, i find myself chasing them time and time again with the same empty promise each time and im still none the wiser.

Absolute shocking after care service. Bought some vass boots from Wroxham and wore them for 3 hours in the torrential rain and they leaked so much so my feet were literally in puddles. After this they absolutely stank like fishing nets and piss considering they had only been worn first time and was still brand new I was met with no help from the manager in store. He said to me it was my fault getting them wet and no poor build quality or the fact the rain was hammering down had nothing to do with it. Also was told because I had wore them there was nothing he could do which I replied how are you meant to know something is faulty until used .I wanted a refund especially as they was only 2 days old but was told no it was all fault and they will not help. I took them to angling direct in Colchester and told the people the same and was met with nothing but good service and was promptly refunded my money which is to be expected as they was 2 days old and clearly were faulty. Basically because it was a Sunday and the manager is an absolute knob he couldn’t be bothered to do his job absolute shocking service from a so called angling enterprise.

Rang them up on day wanted some new fox alarms they had them in stock i reserved them and picked them up the same day first class service and good value for money sometimes you cant beat face to face service instead of online shopping xx

Wish I could rate this shop higher than 5 stars. So helpful for my novice son who is desperate to start fishing. Great service and great advice.

Well layed out nice prices. Only thing is the first door you push the second you have to pull so if on crutches or mobility scooter it's hard.

You often fear shopping at AD is harming our sport as they could be doing the little shop out of business, the little shops that hold the gems on information and perhaps that's true. But then I remember the days of shopping at Tom Bolton's before AD came here and getting my first rod and reel from avenue angling (only shutdown when covid struck.) However you still get the feeling you're in a little tackle shop, the guys are all keen fishermen and as you'd hope are very free with the information they have on venues and rivers and they general knowledge. Oh, and the prices can be pretty sweet too.

My "go to" angling shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Prices are competitive and their range of goods is excellent.

Full marks to Angling Direct Norwich today. I broke a pole on my 2 night stand bivvy and called them yesterday to see if they could help. They said that the model is now superseded by something else but if I could pop in they have a few spares in the workshop, and may have something that would fit. As it's not had alot of use and this time last year my wife bought me the overwrap for it I figured it was worth driving over from Gorleston. Not only did they have a pole to fit, they took it out the back and repaired it there and then. When I asked how much I owed them I was told no charge !!! I was amazed. Great customer service today guys . Very appreciated 👍👍😁😁
