    Staff who designed the bathroom were rude. They started delivering our bathroom 6 months prior to it being fitted meaning we had to find a place to store it all which they didn’t tell us about. We eventually got fed up with the miscommunication and cancelled the whole fitting. Refused to give our money back and ignored emails. We stopped phoning the branch as they would lie constantly so then they didn’t have to give the money back which showed they were desperate. Phoned a “customer care” litre just a lady screaming on the phone with children in the background… Don’t even bother coming here. Over priced rubbish. Save yourselves the hassle!

    Paid around £13000 for a new kitchen last November, Given a start date of 11th April. with a 10 day fit estimate. All started well then the fitter discovered the cupboard for the sink unit was missing. They sent that. Week two the fitter discovered the hob was missing. When we contacted Wickes the man said yes he was aware it was missing as it did not come into stock until 7th April (we paid for it the previous November). So the job stopped. The poor fitter then had to move on to his next fit and do us when he could. We finally got our kitchen 30 days after it started. I contacted Wickes customer services explaining we had no washing machine, cooker etc for 20 days more then we thought, and was offered £100 for my hassle. Not even 1% of what i paid them. I certainly wont be using them again there distribution people are a disgrace. We picked Wickes over Wren because the salesman was so good. I wish we hadn't. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

    Visited here Wednesday evening around 6pm and staff were so unhelpfull asked young lady to help me locate the decking joists her response stood there looked on her phone I asked of someone from garden department could possibly help her anser in such rude manner no we all work on shop floor she then showed picture to other lady she told her where were she went to area they were rude again said these are them and walked off then asked gentleman where decking scrrws were he said such isle asked if he could help directed me to the Isle so I thought nope I'm going to bq the decking joists she showed me wasn't even for decking it was fence posts so unhelpfull bevrr again will enter this tore think staff need retraining in customer service and how to be polite to customers lost my custom bq helped so much better even helped me with the decking I needed amongst other things shame on wickes

    Not too bad of a store. Shame they not hold much in stock, as many items are online purchase only. Doesn't help when needed for a urgent job. Had to go elsewhere

    This is the last time I use wickes. I made a order for some wood door frame trim after waiting a week it was delivered it was really poor quality and warped.customer service I guess is in Scotland which is very poor and very rude they don’t want to take responsibility just push it on to the supplier they use.I paid wickes my money you take responsibility do you know what distance selling is and my rights I can tell you one thing you are going to find out with the complaints I’ve made

    Bad customer service from the Norwich branch as they have not paid me my refund for the mistake on my bill £462 still waiting for the refund so I’m canceling my order and I have just been told that my £750 deposit I will not get back bad company.Just to let everyone know I am still waiting for my my money and I am not giving up.

    Wanted a particular Dulux paint colour, but not stocked. Could order it but adding £7.00 to the price and if mixed would cost another£10.00 on current price of £16.00. NO THANKS!!

    Was very disappointed. Wanted to look at different types of shower cubicles all laid out, tiled etc but they had a very limited number. Shop is more like a warehouse for tradesmen to pick up stuff.

    Returned two items today within 30 days of purchase, had receipts. Cashier asked for my address to protect her from fraudulent claims she said, not my problem I said, they said the system couldn’t give a refund without my address. I told them I have fulfilled my part of the returns process. Supervisor and cashier banded together to pressure me into giving my address, I stood my ground. Cashier made a quick phone call, I was given a refund back to my card. This is a can’t do attitude which makes shopping at Wickes unpleasant. Didn’t say a word, no eye contact from them, I left. I achieved what I set out to do. Won’t be going back.

    Although the staffs were polite but what they sold was very bad! I bought some small rocks for the garden but they supplied BIG rocks to me. It took me lots of time and effort to handle this material. So I comment their services and they asked me what happened. However, after I explained the details, they did not say anything, JUST IGNORE ME !!!! I WILL NEVER buy anything from them!!! They had done a good job to kick away customers!!!!

    Friendly and helpful until they have your money. Any issues with kitchen orders you’ll be hard pushed to get a response and just sent round in circles between the local store and the central customer care number until they wear you down and you give up. Avoid.

    Mixed experience really but when I look back over my purchases some of them have had a major negative impact on out home. Twice we have used their design service and I have been no impressed. The first Kitchen was costly but we ended up having new worktops among other minor gripes. The second time we had bathrooms fitted and the fitter was slow and often late. His lack of site organisation had a bearing on a severe personal injury that affected my career path. Unfortunately despite his actions I was not able t claim against his insurance. So between the Kitchen fit and just before the bathroom fit again we used the design service. This time a utility room that I fit bu they mess up the measurements so we have to wait fro them to return and measure up again and then deliver correctly fitting cupboards. And now the final insult. Due to an appliance breaking the replacement equivalent American Fridge Freezer is bigger an does not fit the hole. No issue I will remake the kitchen and I obtain a quote for the parts. When I call up for these parts they refuse to honour the quote and charge full rate for the parts. In fact it costs me nearly £180.00 for two doors. They just do not care and want your money.

    Massive shout out to Darryl Purcell! He Help me and my Fiancé design and buy our new kitchen for our new home. We had been to other kitchen places before coming to wickes, a lot of other places looked down on us due to our budget and age. (We are a young couple) They wouldn't give us the time of day. But Darryl took the time to listen to us and helped us stay within budget and be able to actually enjoy the kitchen buying process! He helped us utilise space really effectively! He was extremely patient with us as stuff with the new house kept getting delayed. He replied very promptly to us when we messaged with a question and when we sit down to discuss the kitchen he always had a hot chocolate ready for me! Please if you're considering a new kitchen go to Wickes and ask for Darryl, he is so lovely to have worked with!

    Talked to a designer about our new bathroom. Got through it but stunned at the price. Then negotiated a slight discount but as we stood up he scribbled an extra £200 on it so we lost half the discount. Ah well. But then 6 months till they start!

    Staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and very cheerful - something which makes the shopping trip far more enjoyable and testament to the way I assume they are treated and respected by management. Products are clearly priced and the store was very clean and tidy.

    What a joke this place is when it comes to online ordering !! I placed an order a week ago, for wallpaper, nothing strange about that. A week after ordering I’m still waiting for my delivery. 3 attempts at online chat, twice being cut off by Alin B & I’m told it’s a 14day lead time despite the website saying something completely different !!! Online chat can’t cancel my order, and can’t raise a complaint. Customer service on the phone say that they can’t put me through to a manager, the refund could take 14days and the delay could be due to the weather !!! Never again will I use Wickes. What a joke !!!
