The
library
itself
is
good
(...same
can't
quite
be
said
for
the
University)
-
it
has
adequate
books
and
an
easy-to-use
checkout
and
search/reservation
system.
There
are
generally
enough
copies
of
everything
-
which
is
helped
during
exam
time
by
the
short
loan
renewal
system
many
Uni
libraries
have.
The
computers
were
modernised
and
updated
during
the
last
summer
or
two
-
internet
connectivity
is
good
and
there
is
wifi
(Eduroam)
throughout
for
students.
Postgraduates
have
their
own
room
for
both
taught
(MA
/
MSc,
PhD)
and
research
students
(MRes,
etc),
which
is
a
great
escape
from
the
undergrads.
However,
my
only
niggle
when
I
was
a
postgrad
student
was
the
minimal
number
of
computers
in
the
PGT
room...
during
peak
times,
when
all
other
available
computers
were
taken
across
the
general
computer
rooms,
these
too
were
often
full.
They
log
off
after
half
an
hour
of
inactivity,
but
people
would
almost
'reserve'
them
with
coats,
books
and
bags.
Not
the
best
system!
The
library
could
benefit
from
some
more
'upbeat'
social
areas
with
snack
machines.
The
same
as
the
rest
of
campus,
the
concrete
is
cold,
unwelcoming
and
uninviting.
Reminds
you
of
being
in
some
form
of
prison
institution.
