I had the best stay, Sarah and Danny were the most accommodating hosts and were more than happy to go above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I forgot a coat and an umbrella they provided both so I could wonder the grounds. I was also a sole female camper and the site felt so safe and secure. Will definitely come back and have told family and friends all about my stay. Thank you guys, and I wish you the best for your next season. X

Incredible. Spotless facilities, beautiful site, tents are immaculate. The most comfortable bed we have slept in, bar none! Such a relaxing and peaceful place. Make sure you order the breakfast hamper with all locally sourced produce, delicious. Sarah and Danny could not have done more for us, lovely people. We will be back as soon as possible. We have no doubt we will need to book very early in advance next season when this hidden gem becomes more well known. We cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you both so much!

What a blissful experience. The site is really beautiful - set in lovely woodland with lakes, ducks, goats - and so very peaceful. The accommodation is really something else - it’s 5 star luxury. Beds are so comfortable ! I use a sleep app as I struggle sleeping - I normally score around 65 - At Lloyds meadow my sleep score was 93! And I woke up to ducks waddling past the front of our tent. How lovely is that. Great facilities - highly recommend This place is just a little piece of heaven. Thank you to Sarah and Danny - nothing was too much trouble

Me and my partner stayed here for the weekend and it was lovely. Sarah was very welcoming and the places was very relaxing. The tent was clean and the showers and toilets were very clean too! The bed was so comfy and we had a great nights sleep there! We had a fire pit for the evenings, and the pigmy goats were a nice little surprise. We would recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for a nice relaxing break and we would definitely go back!

Amazing experience could not score it high enough. The setting is perfect and picturesque, the site has been thoughtfully developed and is so relaxed yet nature surrounds all aspects. Danny & Sarah could not have been more accommodating hosts, always at hand yet highly respected privacy. Nothing was too much trouble! The goats were definitely the highlight for us and we sure will be retuning 😊

I recently stayed at Lloyd’s Meadow Glamping with my girlfriend for a few nights and I have to say that it was absolutely fantastic. The facilities were brilliant, having toilet blocks close to each tent and having a very well kept shower unit for the guests. The tent itself was really spacious, equipped with furniture such as a wardrobe, a chair and a lovely king sized bed. We never felt cold during night, allowing us to have an undisturbed sleep, and the general cleanliness of the tent was spotless. An additional part of our stay which we loved was getting to see the Pygmy goats and getting to feed them, they were so friendly and would even jump on your back! Sarah and Danny were such lovely hosts, making themselves available for all of our needs throughout the whole day and you could really see how much they cared for the place. I would definitely recommend buying the breakfast hamper and the log bundle, the food in the hamper was fresh from the butchers and the logs provided for a lovely fire at night. We also had food at the local pub - The Goshawk which had really friendly staff and fantastic food. The general location of the site was brilliant, within very short walking distance of the Goshawk and the local train station. We took the train to Chester and also the train to Delamere to partake in the Go Ape - an experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend. We managed to get an open return train ticket to Delamere for £5 which covered the cost of both us, the train journeys were cheap and arrived each hour. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would 100% stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful site loved our stay from start to finish. Stayed for my birthday and felt so special Sarah and Danny the hosts were so accommodating and went above and beyond for all guests. So friendly and lovely made the stay even more comfortable . We stayed in the stargazer tent and was blown away by how stunning it was this tent is more secluded which is just what we wanted was so tranquil and relaxing and the tent itself was really pretty with the removable roof and exposed clear panels it was amazing going to sleep under the stars and waking up under the blue skies was magical. And the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud was so cosy and snug. Toilets and showers were spotless and had all needed for a perfect stay. The area itself surrounding the tent the lake and nature was gorgeous little ducks and rabbits running around was lovely. We would highly recommend this site beautiful surrounding and perfect amenities and hosts! Would definitely stay again if your thinking of booking do it!! Thanks Sarah and Danny for such a lovely stay!

What a fantastic time we have had! Sarah was super attentive and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our time there was perfect! We ordered the breakfast hamper and it was all amazing! Locally sourced ingredients and plenty to fill you up for a day of adventuring, Sarah even bought me some black pudding to top things off! Facilities were spotless and we had our own private toilet and shower slots to maintain cleanliness between visitors! We got a wood burner for the cold nights and Sarah topped up the wood when we was running low without charge! We can't thank them enough for making our week away special! Would highly recommend and we will be back for sure!! Thanks Tom and Megan

This was our second visit and we were slightly nervous that it would not live up to the amazing stay we had last year. We had no need to worry, Sarah and Danny had introduced a few more “little touches”, maintained the impeccable standards of last year and as ever, were there to help you with anything to make it easy to enjoy this beautiful location. Sarah went to a great deal of effort to accommodate our party and we had a lovely couple of pitches (not saying which ones because I want to be able to get them next time!) We had most of the extras and they were worth every penny; really enhancing our stay. Amazing location, easy walk to Delamere Forest, short train journey into Chester, Goshawk pub on the doorstep and the only thing that shattered the tranquility was us enjoying ourselves (sorry neighbours 😂). Looking forward to visiting again.

This place is a beautiful little hidden gem! It's one of those places where, although the bell tents are beautifully laid out, the facilities are top class, and the place itself is well maintained and cared for, their unique selling point is the people - the customer care here is second to none. Sarah and Danny are fabulous hosts. Down to earth, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The price point for what you get and the facilities you have access to, is excellent value for money. I'd recommend booking the Gold Package alongside your accommodation. You'll get everything you need for cooking breakfast, locally sourced great quality ingredients, champagne and cheese board on arrival, firepit and wood - and if it's a special occasion, you'll even get your tent decorated with bunting! And where else can you be entertained by a little group of friendly ducks while you're cooking breakfast, and have the opportunity to take the resident goats for an afternoon stroll?? If you love being off grid and exploring the great outdoors, while still having the home comforts of a hot shower and a luxurious bed for the night then this place is definitely for you!

Wow! Before I’ve even unpacked, I had a write a review. I booked a weekend away at Lloyd’s Meadow for my daughter’s birthday for a bit of mumma daughter time. We had such a fabulous weekend. Such a warm welcome from Sarah and Danny; a beautiful location and lots of useful info about the site and surrounding area was emailed to us before our stay too. The bell tents were beautiful. We were up a slope by the goats and it was lovely and private. The beds and bedding were the comfiest ever and I’m off to buy some! Cute inside the tents with fairy lights and lanterns. We sat outside with a log burner until late, chilling and chatting until it got too dark. The tents were cosy and although it did rain overnight, it was lovely to be tucked up inside dry, listening to it-after all that’s the sound that Alexa usually plays me to get to sleep. Wash facilities and toilets were clean and tidy and never a queue. The rabbits and ducks were friendly too and the owl joined us every evening. A perfect weekend and would totally recommend 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you Sarah and Danny 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We had an amazing stay!! This is truly one of my new favorite spots around Chester. Sarah and Danny were wonderful, and gave us a tour all around the beautiful grounds. We had a duck and her ducklings camp right next to us for our stay. Crumble the goat is one of my favorite animals ever. The beds were extremely comfortable, the tents were bigger than I expected, and the facilities were all clean and in immaculate shape. The perfect place for a holiday. We will be back!!

Everything about Lloyds Meadow Glamping was excellent. The hosts were lovely, very polite and friendly. The tent was great, very spacious and it has everything required for a nice stay. We stayed by the lake and were greeted by ducks for the majority of our stay. The toilets and showers were immaculate, everything felt really hygienic. Staying at Lloyd’s Meadow is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere relaxing and peaceful, complete with the one of the nicest beds I’ve ever slept in. I’d give my stay 10/10, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks for such a lovely stay 😊

Absolutely beautiful site. Well kept and the owners are so helpful (nothing is to much trouble). Toilets and showers are regularly cleaned and there's only a few tents on site so it's very quite. You are surrounded by nature (two ponds) and we woke to rabbits and ducks outside our tent. There is also some friendly goats on site 😁. We hired the breakfast and camping set for £50 which is worth it! The food is locally sourced, all fresh and brought to your tent to cook at your requested time. Great location as well! We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Me and my girlfriend visited for our 2 year anniversary and stayed for 2 nights. We arrived and everyone was very welcoming and polite, making us feel instantly at home! We were shown to our beautiful tent (stargazer tent) which was decorated for our anniversary, which can be requested at booking, with all the trimmings! The added extras such as the champagne and cheese boards were a lovely touch. The area we stayed in was lovely and quiet and had an amazing view of the lake! We made friends with the locals (ducks) and made the most of our amazing breakfast which was added too as part of the gold package experience (absolutely worth it!). It’s located right next to the train station which was perfect for us when it came to arriving and leaving and is a 15 minute journey from Chester! The facilities on sight are IMMACULATE and the toilets and showers were spotless! Can’t speak highly enough of Sarah and everyone else on site who were on hand to help us with anything we needed! It’s the perfect place for a little romantic get away or even just to escape from city life for a couple days! Absolutely would recommend this to anyone and will 100% be back! Already looking forward to booking!

My husband and I have just spent the weekend here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary .Firstly, Sarah is amazing and cannot do enough! The site is so clean and the scenery is breathtaking. We booked the double tent and it’s so spacious! The bed is super comfy with a quality mattress and bedding. It has been the perfect weekend for us. There’s so much thought put into everything! We’re already looking to book again for next year for a longer stay, and if you book the gold package the little extras just top it off! Breakfast package is an absolute must! The fire pit too- a beautiful addition when it turns dark- Sarah brought us some blankets so we could wrap up outside and even offered water bottles as the temperature had dropped which I thought was so kind. We explored the grounds a little- you must visit the goats, they are very sociable and will come see you- cuteness overload! I just don’t have a bad word to say! Completely exceeded my expectations and blew us away. Highly recommend.

What an absolutely amazing location! We were totally chilled out in no time. Sarah and Danny could not do enough to make our stay such a special time. We spent 4 nights and would happily have stayed longer. We treated ourselves to the celebration package which was worth every penny, especially sipping chilled champagne next to the lake with the fire pit glowing. Truly magical!! We will be back. What a beautiful relaxing tranquil place. If that's what you need then this place is just the right place for you. Bell tents were immaculate with a comphy bed and pillows. The grounds are well kept with little surprises scattered about in the trees. The ducks came for a feed too. We met the 2 little mini lambs cookie and crumble and had some fun feeding them and watching them play together. The owners couldn't of done any more for us. Will definitely stay again when they reopen in the new season. There are walks and a pub which serves great food & drink within walking distance . I highly recommended Lloyd's meadows Glamping .

A truly magical night spent in a perfectly idyllic location. From the charming hosts, to the immaculate facilities, to the most comfortable bed ever, Lloyds Meadows Glamping cannot be faulted. And the Pigmy Goats, Cookie and Crumble were a bonus. Looking forward already to returning in 2022. Thank you.

Absolutely surreal. I booked LMG as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday and so she was going into this blind… and she loved it. Even though I knew what to expect, it exceeded mine and my girlfriends expectations. The location is gorgeous, you’ve two main ponds which are littered with wild life - ranging from ducks, to rabbits to kingfishers (I’ve heard you can sometimes see an otter!). You’re at absolute peace when staying in the bell tents located by the pond, and every morning we had a family of ducks asleep by the tent. I cannot stress enough how beautiful the land and scenery is. Danny and Sarah, the hosts, were nothing short of welcoming. I had purchased the fresh breakfast ingredients, cooking equipment and also firewood so every night we had a roaring fire to keep us nice and warm and every morning we had the fresh breakfast ingredients delivered sharpish at ~9am. We found the breakfast really nice, definitely go for it. They have pet Pygmy goats and you’re able to freely go into their pen and play with them, but also if you’re feeling adventurous you can take them on a walk around the land. PS they love oak leaves! We enjoyed it so much we ended up staying another night, from 2 nights to 3. I really do recommend staying here - by far one of the best places I’ve ever been to. For tea I recommend going to the local pub, the Goshawk. It’s pretty much a 5 minute walk away, opposite the train station (Mouldsworth), and the food is good. We are returning next year for sure.

We Stayed in the star gazer bell tent for our anniversary. It was the most comfortable bed we have ever stayed on. We had the whole fishing lake to ourselves. Sarah and Danny made are stay so welcoming and anything we needed they attended to straight away. Would highly recommend a stay here x

We had a lovely time at our glamping escape. We were surrounded by beautiful scenery and gentle wildlife that we could have spent the entire trip sitting and watching. The tent was perfectly arrange with a comfy bed in the centre that almost made us forget we were outside. The food we ordered was delicious, far better than what we were expecting from a campsite. Showers were a slight walk away but that comes with sleeping outside and is better than no shower. The hosts Sarah and Danny offered all this with a smile and a friendly chat when needed. They were great hosts who really helped us get the most out of our trip. Thank you letting us stay!

We just stayed at Lloyds Meadow glamping at the weekend for their first weekend of the season and we had the best time ever! The tent is so cute with a super comfy bed in it. The grounds are stunning, so peaceful and there are Pygmy goats in a pen on site that are super friendly and cute. The host, Sarah, is so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us to make our weekend special. For example, as it’s April so still cold, she brought hot water bottles round every night. She also took time out of her day to take us on a walk round the grounds with the goats and let us play with them which made our weekend! It’s also in a great location close to Chester and Delamere Forest so lots to do and see near by. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.

Spent 2 nights in the tepees in September and did not feel the cold one bit! The beds themselves were amazing and so comfy! The place was immaculately clean and we had our own designated shower and toilet. Breakfast hamper was also amazing and well worth as the added extra as it includes all local produce and fresh apple juice! If you do decide to visit, make sure you go and see cookies and cream (the two goats on the farm)! Overall a lovely stay and was made to feel so welcome by Sarah and Danny. Would 100% stay again! :)

It was an amazing weekend away. This place is stunning and Sarah and Danny are such super great hosts. The tent and bed were so clean and very comfy, everywhere is spotless and well thought out. Overall a wonderful Glamping experience and we will certainly come back again and we recommend you try it too, you will not be disappointed! Thank you. X

My other half and I absolutely loved our weekend away at Lloyds Meadow. From the moment we arrived we didn't want for anything, and were so well looked after by Sarah and Danny, who were so friendly and kind. The facilities were excellent and very clean, and the pygmy goats Cookie and Crumble just sealed the deal on a perfect break! Beautiful scenery all around, loads of wildlife and a lovely pub a stones throw away. Thank you so much for having us - already looking forward to our next stay!

Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved our stay at Lloyd’s meadow. The amazing glamping site has four lakes, hammocks, goats and tonnes of wildlife including ducks and rabbits. It was so peaceful and relaxing whilst we sat on chairs provided outside with our fire pit which we hired for just £10. The hosts were great and struck up conversations with us throughout our stay and we’re very polite and lovely people. There is lots of things to do in the local area and all the locals seemed friendly including the staff at the local pub. The hosts have created a wonderful app so you can see all the things accessible in the local area and really helps you plan your trip. The bed was incredibly comfy and the tent itself had lots of room in it and includes two bedside tables and a chair. The whole site is made up with lanterns and fire lights and is really lovely in the evenings. I woke up really early each day to read my book over the duck lakes it was a true mindful moment. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing but fun trip away in nature this is the place you want to go. We will be returning.

Sarah is an amazing host, she is so attentive, nothing is too much trouble, she made us feel so welcome and relaxed. The grounds are so beautiful and well looked after. The tents exceeded expectations, they were so clean, cosy and decorated so nicely. Breakfast was delicious, I would defiantly recommend renting a fire pit they are so cosy to cuddle around on an evening. Showers and toilets were super clean and always topped up with everything you need! We had a lovely weekend, we didn’t want to leave. Thank you Sarah and Danny we will be back for sure! :)

Stayed here in August 2021. Everything was amazing from the tent itself to the facilities (which were very clean). Could not fault it. Sarah & Danny were lovely too and very helpful. The site is close to the train station, so in a good location for a day out to Chester. There is also a nice pub a 5 minute walk away. Although the weather wasn’t great (a lot of rain), this didn’t impact our stay as the tent was high quality so did not let any water in! Would definitely recommend Lloyds Meadow for a peaceful camping trip.
