Stunningly
beautiful
view
across
to
the
Lakeland
peninsulas.
At
high
tide,
particularly
in
winter,
there
are
thousands
of
roosting
wades.
The
tide
goes
out
so
far
that
at
other
times,
the
quiet
beach
can
be
almost
your
own.
The
wonderfully
developed
promenade
is
full
of
little
messages
and
tidbits.
The
grassy
slopes
are
planted
with
wild
flowers
for
the
bees,
which
is
glorious
to
look
at
in
summer.
There
is
a
play
park
which
the
kids
love.
If
you
walk
up
towards
Heysham
Village
there
are
horses
in
the
field
that
come
to
be
fed
and
petted.
If
you
walk
towards
Morecambe,
you
reach
the
developed
and
busy
end
with
events,
ice
cream,
fish
and
chips
and
the
like.
This
is
a
lovely
place
to
base
yourself,
quiet
with
things
to
do
and
places
to
visit
in
both
directions.
