    It's a lovely place to walk with dogs. There is a cafe and children's play area. You can walk from here around the coast to Barry Island. I have never done this but they say its a lovely walk. You can look out to sea and see on your left the Penarth Promenade.

    Great location at the top of the hill. nice walk down to the pier. Free car park always welcome and added benefit of toilets and cafe. Overall great base if exploring penarth. We used it as a base to walk into Cardiff too

    Ideal place to park to see the magnificent views of the sea and distant shores. Flask of Tea, with a pack of sandwiches great! The area is nice and flat for an easy stroll. There are park benches to take seat to continue the wonderful views.

    Lovely place with nice little play ground next to it for kids. Beautiful view of the bay from the park and nice walking path by sea.

    It's a lovely place to visit car park is free there is a playground for children and two cafe,serving ice cream and snacks and a flat walk along the cliff top

    Excellent location with a cafe nearby. Short walk to the sea or the children's play park or the field to walk your dog or to go for a walk on the coastal path. What's not to like.

    Good free car park, but it gets full quickly on busy days. Top of the hill, so a bit of a hike from the Esplanade to get back to your car.

    A good place to Park in Penarth and parking is still free. If you want to walk to the Penarth Pier is a good walk down hill but coming back up can be taxing. There is a lovely children's play area and some nice cafés in the area. Eat in or take away.

    Nice well situated car park next to a large field and playground. Plenty of room for parking but there are no marked spaces on slightly uneven ground so watch your footing! There are also toilets here that are well maintained

    Nice location, plenty parking spaces available and local sweet shop to keep the kids happy. Not a long walk to the pier so a chilled scene walk down to the pier.

👍👍 An enjoyable 1.5 mile walk from the car park at Lavernock Point to the cafés at Clifftop Park in Penarth. The path is a decent surface for walking and the slopes are fairly gentle with nice views of Penarth. There are a couple of access points to the stoney beach as you walk.

😐 Nice park in Penarth. There is a big climbing wall and some swings. It's a shame really that the grass is never cut or it would be perfect for football😢
