Overall 10/10 for me. My go-to lunch during the week. High quality ingredients, fresh, healthy, and feels homemade. Food that makes you feel good. Price definitely equals quality. Usually I get the the lunch deal for £8, which includes a main of choice (both meat and veg options!), and two salads.

Amazing food! Serving up delicious options for all (including lots of vegan options). Tried a vegan pattie and steak burger. Both were so tasty and fresh. The salads are really vibrant and flavoursome and the sweet potato fries are the business. For dessert, the vegan brownie (warmed up at home) was up there with the best brownie I've had. All of this at ridiculously affordable prices. Highly recommended!

Great place, emphasis is on the vegan menu but there's a meat based non vegan menu on offer for your non plant based pals so it's an easy spot fro a group lunch. The lunch time deal of burger,chips,salad & a drink for £8 is great value (for this street in particular) and it was one of the best vegan chicken burgers I have had. Fast and friendly service.

We chose to have lunch here following the suggestion of a friend and it turned out to be the winning choice! Very wide choice of really special burgers (and more). Quick and friendly service, very friendly, with honest prices for the quality on offer. I had a really delicious KOD Cheeseburger. I will definitely be back.

Spicy Chicken bulgogi burger here is highly recommended - epic! Good balanced spicy it was, chicken was tender with nice smoky tastes, veggies were very fresh as well. Other dishes were good too, absolutely above average. I can tell these are made with fresh ingredients with caring heart. Service was great too, the waitress was so kind. Lastly, great value for money, deffo i’m gonna be a regular here.

Yummy crab tagliatelle served by a lovely lady. Generous portion size for only £6.50. The fresh apple juice was really good too!

Visited to try out the bottomless pasta offer I’d spotted on Instagram! Was a little disappointed to hear that offer was no longer available, but was pleased with the alternative of 50% off each meal. As I was dining with a friend, we ordered two plates each and it was more than enough. Pros: Generous portion sizes, and each plate was absolutely delicious! We ordered: • Girasoli stracciatella & nduja with butter and sage (5/5) • Tagliatelle with spicy crab meat (3.5/5) • Scialatielli semola with shiitake and porcini mushrooms (3/5) • Black Linguine with king prawn and mussel (5/5) They didn’t have most of the soft drinks listed, in stock. And no ice or lemon for water. Besides what appeared to be poor preparation for going viral on social media, I thought the staff were great (albeit a long wait time for the meal to arrive) and the food was well worth it.

Very chill, cute place. Probably the best value for money in the area! Main meal with 2 sides for 7.5£ (June 2023) Or bottomless menu for 12£ (June 2023) Delicious and good food! Definitely recommended!

This place is amazing if you want good food and good prices. The portion sizes were perfect and the pasta was delicious. would recommend the crab tagliatelle<3 will definitely be coming back

Lovely, bright and inviting. There's a small but decent selection on the menu. Ordered a sausage and egg roll and a bacon and egg roll. They brioche buns were delicious, the meat wasn't greasy and there were 2 fried eggs on each sandwich. Very fresh and tasty. They offer vegan versions of everything which is great to see. They also offer freshly squeezed orange juice to order. We'll worth a trip for breakfast or something more substantial.

KOD is an odd place but it's great. I'd never expect to get a good proper (i.e. meat) burger at a place that emphasises its vegan offering so strongly...but I did. It was a really good cheeseburger, with some really tasty, crispy seasoned chips. Sweet potato fries were excellent too, as was the steak burger. Salad tastes fresh and was well put together. The apple cake and vegan brownie are a bit mediocre, I'd get dessert elsewhere. But overall it's a great option and a place you can have a nice burger and salad and actually feel like you've eaten something healthy. It's also really good value. The last few stores in this location haven't lasted long but I hope KOD sticks around. I think they need to offer good coffee as it would be a great place to have a coffee during the day. And they could improve their dessert options. But overall it's well worth checking out and I'll definitely look forward to going back.

This place is insanely good for both meat eaters and vegetarians and vegans. The salads are incredibly tasty and the variety is good. All home cooked food. The prices are fantastic as well. £12 for unlimited mains and salads. I was stuffed. Staff are friendly and the place of immaculately clean. Support local. It’s much better than the chains.

Amazing! A must visit! Really tasty fresh food :) great choices ! Tried some salads and the chicken! Delicious ! Same for my friend that had different salads and the musaka! Amazing service and atmosphere, music, decorations, all in one small place! And most importantly you can feel and see the love that has been put for the place and the food (not to forget to mention the fresh home made deserts !🤤) 🤤 we also ordered a set of everything to take home :) Definitely a must visit! So very happy to have found Kod just by wandering by, and being inspired by the fresh dishes displayed right in the window. This is fresh, healthy, tasty meals made with care, and shared for a tenner and change. The owner and chef here really deserves local support and visitors to keep a cozy, lovely place like Kod going. I'll definitely be back.

We visited while at the Business Design Centre. Superb value food and delicious takeaway boxes. The owner is lovely and really looked after us when we called in later for coffee and cake!

Seriously! This place is so good, and so reasonably priced. It is my go-to place for dinner almost everyday now! Food is so healthy, tasty and £8 for a standard/regular selection of 3 different dishes - and it comes with a great portion! Staff are super friendly and dinning atmosphere is cozy - excellent place for solo diner or small group. Highly recommended.

Straight up like a home meal, expect fresh food and comfy flavours. You can have whatever you fancy from the daily options or you can also ask for the soup of the day.. The asian lady boss is super nice and always in a good mood!

A great spot for a relaxing breakfast or quick&delicious lunch and dinner. A new jem in Islington area. Have both vegan and meat dishes. I tried lunch a couple of times, love their butter beans. Today I passed by in the morning so came for breakfast. The pic is the breakfast I had today, cost me £7.5. Lunch set is also £7.5. Bottomless is £12.

Homemade style delicious food in the heart of Islington! I had the moussaka which was delicious, and the salads super fresh. So tasty that we took seconds for takeaway dinner. The apple cake was also yummy!

Think the pasta is overrated, didn’t taste like freshly made. It is reasonably priced for sure. I got Tagliatelle with spicy crab, good flavouring but pasta itself….

Lovely new place with great staff. Great breakfast, salad bar and burgers and two great smoothies. Just opposite Screen on the Green. Seating upstairs as well. Very well suited to both vegans/vegetarians and meat eaters.

If I could give KOD 6 stars I would. Everything I've eaten has been delicious. The best salad I've tasted in my life. My mother really enjoyed both the vegan burger and the Salmon/Egg/Avocado bun meal. We shared a vegan brownie which was delicious. Furthermore, the food is amazing value. The staff are fantastic and very accommodating. Think I've found a gem here....

Me and a friend tried a handful of the vegan things on the menu and they were all incredible! The person working on the day was also super cool and knowledgeable, great experience all round. We will definitely be going back and I'd recommend this spot's vegan food to anyone.

Best vegan food I've ever had in a fast-food setting. I've been vegan since 2004, the food is excellent and the prices are very fair. The portions are generous, and the staff is very friendly. Make a trip to Islington, and go to KOD. It's absolutely worth it.

This is a great little place. Delicious food, we had a vegan breakfast brioche which was lovely. It was a surprise half price offer so I gave a good tip, and was rewarded with complementary brownies. The staff are delightful. Not in Islington often, but will definitely return.

This small vegan spot on Upper Street great. All the food was delicious; the vegan scramble with aubergine bacon in a soft toasted brioche bun is definitely worth picking up. The salads were all great too. And the vegan brownie was very moreish.
