While the staff were nice and helpful, I'm disappointed in the overall experience. I went in for a blood test and the results came back as promised. I then paid for a follow-up with the doctor as I needed a medical report from him for a surgery I am having. He said it would take them no more than a couple days to get to me, that was a week and a half ago now. I have spent the last week emailing to no reply. And I have called multiple times every day and somehow no one picks up. At this rate I may need to physically travel all the way back to the clinic and try my luck in person. I came to this clinic with high hopes, and the assumption that I would get my report back in a reasonable timeframe - which is why I was willing to travel and spend a fair bit of money. But I don't think I can confidently use their services again in the future.

Brilliant service - I had a health concern a few days before I had to fly abroad. I was seen by a doctor quickly and had a set of investigations, which helped reassure me that it was nothing serious. From the receptionists to the doctor - all round great services. Will definitely come back again.

Tdlr: On top of being excruciatingly expensive (£150 for a 30-minute GP consultation), if you go there, chances are that GP won't help with anything and you will be referred to someone else with even higher rates. Avoid if you are not willing to lose £500-700 in a day for a minor medical issue. I came with an ear infection and booked a same-day appointment with one of their GPs. Being uninsured in the UK since I live there temporarily, I knew how high the fees were but I couldn't wait much longer to obtain a consultation with a public practitioner. I was hoping that, as a doctor with at least 10-11 years of training, this GP would be able to help with that (I am French and idk about the UK, but essentially every GP in France can deal with a simple ear infection and give the prescription you need). The GP in question was cold and patronising. Despite filling in a pre-appointment form, I had to re-explain everything from the start and even repeat myself many times because they weren't getting it. They looked at my ear, first saying there was nothing, and then proceeding to refer me to their friend, an ENT specialist, for an immediate consultation that they said would cost £250. It was quite urgent and I was unable to reach my parents at that time so I accepted through spite. The specialist in question did help but charged £400, while asking me to come back for a follow-up that would cost the same price. That is a total of £950 + the prescription for an ear infection.

I walked into this clinic without appointment for some blood tests with my family. We were all seen promptly by the doctor before going downstairs for the blood tests he recommended. Nurses were very patient with us, even allowing my daughter to sit on their medical bed for a minute as she is scared of needles. Very happy with the follow up care and will be coming back in 6 months for another test as recommended by the doc. Cheers all.

These guys are crooks. Charged £450 upfront despite having health insurance cover. Took this up with the insurer, who confirmed I had been overcharged and that the correct process is for the insurer to pay (a lower amount) directly. The insurer spoke with the clinic and assured me that the clinic had agreed to offer a refund. A month later I’m still waiting and they’re ignoring my emails. Avoid.

My husband and I had the pleasure of using your services over the last couple of weeks. We had a really professional and caring experience with your staff and are very keen to make health checks at your practice an annual event going forwards. Initially referred to Medical Express by friend who had previously attended. Access to health, as with most services, was severely disrupted over the pandemic: Fortunately, however , Medical Express was able to maintain and provide an incredible service. I was impressed and grateful for the speed, ease and professionalism experienced:. On separate occasions , the process was remarkably swift: Successful resolution being provided following making an appointment.

I really cannot recommend Medical Express highly enough. Twice over the past two years they have helped me out by providing a next day appointment with a supportive, patient and sensible GP who has given me the advice and referrals I have needed to get back to health. My first issue was sorted with a procedure booked with a private specialist within 2 days, after struggling for almost a month. This time my full bloods came back within 24 hours and the GP arranged a prompt follow-up service, giving me the information I needed to enable me to get my MRI scans through the NHS at warp speed. Ignore the negative reviews. I have only praise for the team at Medical Express.

Got my medical check up here for Kazakh visa.. Very easy to get booked Friendly staff. Prompt in all communication. Nice clean and big facility. Basically I am one happy client :-)

Awful experience and unfriendly staff. AVOID. I was told my result will be ready the same day or tomorrow on the phone. That’s the deciding factor for booking this clinic instead of my usual one because they are shut for bank hols. When I arrived, I was told the result won’t be ready until the day after tomorrow. “You know it’s is bank holiday this week?” That sarcastic response is so unnecessary. I know it’s bank hols and that’s why I checked on the phone before booking it. And I was told if I came yesterday then I would get my result today. My dr didn’t need the read for yesterday but today. What kind of nurse say such non sense things? Does she not understand timing is important in tests??? The reception and the nurse are both not friendly. If you are paying private, you def do not want that kind of service.

Fantastic clinic. I’ve had a lot of blood tests in my life but this time I honestly didn’t feel a thing. My nurse Livia was fantastic and all the staff extremely friendly. Don’t hesitate to come here for all of your blood work

When I moved to London I wanted a private GP that offered urgent appointments. I have found that Medical Express Clinic is excellent in being able to offer even a same day appointment.

I saw Dr Penny while on holiday in the UK, for what turned out to be a medical emergency. She was everything you want in a doctor — calm, thoughtful and very, very good at listening. She did all the right tests, as it turned out I was acutely ill. When I saw her for a follow-up, she was again very patient and didn't hurry me out the door. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I had a good experience at this clinic until after the appointment- I was supposed to receive all of my results and have a follow up wiht the Dr. Not sure if this place has closed down since a few weeks ago but I can never get through via telephone, email or insta, and have not received replies to my emails aksing for the rest of my results. Strange, can only assume it's been shut. Other than that seemed like a good clinic.

Actual medical experience was fine but 4 weeks later and no report following the health screening. Had blood results sent but no explanation what they mean. For the price I would expect far better customer service. They don't even reply to emails. I would not recommend this service

Do not recommend. I came with strep A to do a bacteria culture since I couldn’t get through on the NHS and I’m allergic to penicillin. Got charged £75 to basically self-swab. The provider they use ran a pointless sensitivity analysis checking the strain only against penicillin (all strep A strains are sensitive to it - Id know that without a test) and erythromycin (which we already know has high community resistance. For comparison, an NHS bacteria culture always compared 6-12 antibiotics. Otherwise it really makes no sense. This derailed my treatment and made me take drugs that didn’t work. A complaint was left unanswered. AVOID

Please please don’t use this place. THEY ARE A CON. They did a smear test and caused me so much pain. 3 different individuals tried to get a swap causing me so much pain. Then scared me I have some infection. Charged me £300 for no reason and gave a FAKE result. I went to do a smear test at two other places including the NHS and found I have nothing wrong with me. Please AVOID THEM it should be shut down. The amount of stress they caused me thinking I have something wrong with me. Fake doctors fake and rude reception staff absolutely disgusting people AVOID

Booked for a basic MOT & was sent a 15 minute appointment slot. Arrived, was ignored for 45 minutes until I explained I needed to leave soon. They didn’t explain why I was sent the incorrect appointment as they’re usually 1hour as I later found out. Had an extremely quick examination and was emailed 2 weeks later asking for payment (I had already paid to have my results as part of the package). Had the most unhelpful call with a doctor who gave me no advice or any information on results, and then had to chase further results as they simply didn’t bother to contact. Huge waste of money and really disorganised for a private clinic.

I visited this medical centre recently for a health screen and my experience was amazing. Attentive care from reception, nurse and the doctor. Service was excellent and I got my results very quickly too. I highly recommend the Medical Express 👌 👏 😌 🙂 ☺️

Paid for a 24 hour service, and did not receive the results in 24 hours. When i contacted them to ask where the results were, they said they'd been sent already. I asked for evidence that they'd been sent (an e-mail, etc), and they then proceeded to completely ignore me. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this service - unprofessional, untimely, and unrepentant for their mistakes.

We had been to some other private GP clinics in London but found that the treatment and the ease of access at this clinic were by far the best.

I have been going to see the doctors at Medical Express Clinic for about four years now. I find their charges to be very competitive and the ease of access to the doctors and the speed at which tests come back are the things that keeps me coming back.

My partner and I both go to Medical Express Clinic for regular appointments with one of their doctors who specialise is infertility. We are now feeling a lot more hopeful about our situation and our attempts to have a baby.

I booked an appointment after being ignored by the NHS. Dr Bakhtiar was examplry and really took the time to explain everything even when l was asking silly question. His diagnosis was spot on and even though Lam only halfway through with rhe treatment the improvement is noticeable I will be going back to medical express if ever need help again, and not waiting for months on the NHS
