I have had multiple scans in my life however this one was the worst experience so far. Rude and unprofessional African lady, too many unnecessary rules and movements that you have to follow for some unknown reason, don't sit here, don't do this etc. Made the whole experience unpleasant and humiliating. Had to wait for my turn over 20min past my appointment time with a full bladder which was horrible. Secondly, I got asked about when was my first day of last period and I had to check my phone to find it, got yelled at immediately to put my phone down even tho she could clearly see that I'm not recording anything and checking the app. Really, cmon! Would not recommend at all, even in Eastern Europe you got better customer service than there. They do so much better at Luton &Dunstable hospital.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I was very nervous for my scan and I was refused to have my partner with me even though it was an internal and I am under 21…. I had no communication during the scan, the lead sonographer and assistant in there were discussing my issues without including me. This made me feel isolated and lonely. The room was incredibly dark and I was made to undress and dress in the dark. I have never felt so uncomfortable.

Without a doubt one of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. Zero communication during the scan, rude and abrasive attitude from the lead sonographer who spent the whole appointment treating me as though I was an inconvenience. I have had multiple ultrasounds and never, ever have I walked away from an appointment feeling the way I do today. I was referred here via the NHS, if you are looking to spend money here as a private patient avoid it at all costs. Disgraceful.

Visited for a scan, as I have been having problems waiting through NHS, cannot praise staff enough for their kindness. They communicated throughout my whole time there and made me feel very comfortable. I was also given same day results and discussed what is best at interest for me going forward. Feel very satisfied and reassured. Will be retuning for a follow up scan. Thank you and your lovely team for making me feel at ease and reassured

Very rude staff, was also accused of lying about what another doctor had informed me, until she read the gp records and realised I wasn’t lying. Felt very uncomfortable at this clinic and will not return again.

I had the worst experience at this clinic. I was already nervous for my scan and the sonographer was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable throughout the scan. She was very unprofessional and did not offer a chaperone. Never had such a horrible experience!

This was my first time at the ultra sound clinic and I can't fault them in any way. Everyone was so friendly. I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the scans. The lady that did the scans was really nice. Would definitely use them again if needed, rather than go to the hospital.

I attended the ultrasound clinic today for an abdominal scan because they are trying to assist in getting the waiting time down for patients on the very long waiting list at the L&D. I was actually very happy about going here rather than the Hospital. Everyone is extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Thank goodness there are clinic’s like this that are willing to help by taking on NHS cases, I’m sure lives are being saved because of it.

my husband and i had a wonderful experience with Abigail for our 4d baby scan. i felt comfortable and at ease and Abigail who is clearly very experienced was also very personable and friendly. we managed a few images of baby but legs and arms got in the way so Abigail offered for us to go for a walk and try again a bit later. unfortunately baby still wasnt playing ball and we have been offered a complimentary follow up scan which we are so very pleased with! the 4d scan also included a well being check of baby which is also so useful as its great to know how baby is doing. the service feels a lot more personal compared to some franchises. we would highly recommend the ultrasound clinic and would have no hesitation in returning in the future.

Me and my partner called in to see if we can have our appointment moved forward because we had some concerns for the baby, within minutes Julie called back to say they would come in within the hour to do it for us, we didn't realise it was closed and Julie and Abigail had both come in on there days off to support us and do the scan, the hole way through we felt very looked after and treated like royalty, they both went the extra mile, above and beyond and we can't thank them enough for such a great experience. Highly recommended, we will be returning for a gender and a 4D scan. Fantastic service.

I had a very good experience at the Ultrasound Clinic. The staff were personable and very professional. I had been waiting a very long time through my GP surgery so decided to go private as I had been very anxious waiting. I was surprised how reasonably priced the scan was. I would recommend to others.

Absolutely amazing service! Abigail is so lovely and kind, very detailed and thorough , couldn't recommend her enough. I felt completely comfortable and Abigail had such a lovely aura. We have now booked 3 different scans and would use again! 5*

Hi I did have scan done here . I just wanted to compare my results ,and nhs said I have something going on-then I did here and they said all fine which was completely wrong -manager refused to give my money back, in the end I had operation so the nhs was right- waste of time and money be aware . And running late over 30 minutes as well so is not really acceptable if you are paying private fees .i expected to get me money back as the results which they provided was very wrong I did speak with manager which she was rude on phone and didn’t even let me talk and explain then she put the phone down . Just writing here so people know and also add the sonographer she didn’t seem to know what she was doing at all she was asking another lady how to switch on ultrasound machine … since then I knew it something is wrong . I do work for nhs so I know how this works .

Got there in the hopes of just getting an external pelvic scan, however both the doctor and the assistant made me feel relaxed and assured me that an internal one will provide more information. Which was absolutely true. Barely felt anything and it was quite fast as well. Would certainly recommend them, especially women that are scared or have anxiety with tests like smears etc.

We went today for a NIPT screening blood test and scan. We had a truly amazing time despite it being an anxious time for my husband and I. Abigail was fantastic and so personable, we immediately felt comfortable and relaxed with her. She needed the baby to be in a certain position and it wasn’t playing ball so she allowed us to go for a coffee and a walk and come back. Luckily by this time the baby had moved into the correct position and Abigail was able to get everything she needed. We also had the bonus of being able to see our baby in 3D which was amazing. Thank you so much to Abigail, we would definitely recommend this clinic.

My partner and I had an amazing time here. For an early pregnancy scan. Abigail was so lovely, she took her time, took lots of pictures and videos and genuinely seemed interested in our lives too. She made my partner feel at ease when I had to leave the room to empty the gallon of water I'd consumed beforehand and over filled my bladder and really gave us both a great experience seeing our baby for the first time. We are so happy with the service we received. Thank you so much Abigail!

I felt I had had a good experience, until it seems that I had the audacity to ask a question in relation to my scan. After 2 days of being told I would be rung back, I once again called them trying to get an answer to my question, I was then put through to the “owner” who despite several attempts to explain, seemed to imply I was being critical, I just wanted an answer, and when saying how she had made me feel, apparently that was just my perception. Very sad, as the ultrasound staff were very nice. As of now I still haven’t received an answer to my enquiry. Disappointed

Such great friendly people. Very helpful and supportive. Very clean and pleasant environment. Helpful over the phone, very patient and kind from start to finish.

I cannot praise the team at The Ultrasound Clinic enough. Real professionalism and huge care was shown on my visit. It’s everything that you could ever want from medical practitioners but, unfortunately, do not always receive . Thank you so much everyone.

Very disappointed with the manor of Abigail Mazendame on my appointment today, this was my first scan/internal scan and I was very nervous and it didn’t help that I want allowed to bring anyone with me (as per regulations of the ultrasound clinic) At the beginning of the appointment she told me I hadn’t followed instructions that were sent to me prior to the appointment in a very intimidating manor (drinking a pint & 1/2 of water) which I had, and told her she then proceeded to almost argue that I hadn’t. She then began to tell me that she wasn’t going to be able to get a proper view because I didn’t have enough water in my bladder and that she would do a few so it looked like she ‘tried’. This confused me as I needed the toilet the whole appointment. As far as the internal scan, I felt very uncomfortable. She said there was no one to chaperone during the examination because I hadn’t drunk any water and that she would usually still be scanning my stomach area so no one was available. She then proceeded to go ahead without a chaperone. During this, there was little to no reassurance she continued to tell me to relax. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable, and I would highly recommend AVOIDING this place!

Not good service. Be careful if you give a deposit and the treatment is not done due to being misinformed in the first place Before I booked an appointment, I was told by a member of the staff that an ultrasound can be done on my knee after explaining my problem. On arrival, I was asked to pay the balance which I refused. I normally pay the balance after the treatment. When I explained to the doctor that I have a weakened cartilage. He said that I need an MRI.Then he added that my deposit will be refunded. However, when I spoke to the manager. I was told that the deposit is non refundable. However, after consulting the doctor, she refunded me as a gesture of good will. What a joke. As one can imagine, this is not good practice. 😐

My appointment at The Ultrasound Clinic was a great experience. The building is beautiful and meticulous, and all the staff were lovely and ensured I was comfortable throughout my visit. I highly recommend them for their service.

I was referred here by my GP for an ultrasound and was pleasantly surprised with how fast they booked me an appointment for. When I arrived each team member I was greeted by made me feel comfortable. I felt safe throughout the whole experience which I was originally quite nervous about. I would 100% recommend this clinic to family and friends.

I have visited the practice a few weeks back after experiencing terrible pain in my lower right side In my stomach. I have booked an appointment for a pelvic and upper abdomen scan, which was not cheap , just to be told that everything seems fine and it “ might be an appendicitis” - quote. That comment had made me really upset and I’m still experiencing unknown pain with no answer for it. Also asking for my results to be send to my personal email so I can review them and I have never received them, even after a numerical reminder to the clinic.
