I was very fortunate to be led to this great place of knowledge and wisdom a few months after I moved to Bedford. Always wanted to learn about the Mixed Martial Arts and enrolling at the Rising Crane Centre was one of the best things that ever happened to me. From the moment I entered and requested for more information I was warmly welcomed and amazingly accepted. A couple of months after enrolling I was training practically everyday of the week (sometimes twice a day) and not once I was mistreated or felt unwelcomed. This facility is about learning, knowledge and above all respect, something that seems really hard to find these days. All coaches are dedicated, experienced and amazing at what they do every single day. The owner David Rogers manages this place in an outstanding way, always by keeping good values, standing up for what he believes and most of all by being respectful towards this art he loves so much. Passion and Respect is what you'll find in this place and what you are taught every second you spend there. David provides a unique program developed by himself and based on his long years of experience. The classes programs are smartly/thorough thought and wisely made that clearly provide results for anyone who dedicates itself to it. I had clear results after a few weeks of training and was encouraged not to give up at all times. This is the place you should join if you want to learn and have an amazing time while you do it. The Rising Crane Centre makes you feel like family and that you are a part of something really special. Would advise the services and this place to everyone.

I first became a member in 2001 after having my first child. My husband had joined the previous year and encouraged my sister and I to join and so we did and we loved it. Both of my children have trained at the school and really enjoyed the junior syllabus and then went on to do the adult classes when they were old enough. A great family club where there is something for every one with lots of classes to choose from. I now practice ti chi 3 or 4 times a week and I also enjoy the fighting fit classes. This is the place to go to relieve stress, improve your well being and make new friends.

I joined this club back in 2010 when I was 7 and had practiced there for 7 years. The well-structured lessons taught me how to become stronger, more aware of the world and to learn self-defense. I was part of the Elite team and the STORM team where I learnt further skills of how to become fitter and stronger ; this is a great school with traditional techniques and teachings. My mum, dad and brother also train at this school as well and we all benefit from it. I feel like it has improved my confidence, my fitness and I have met a range of people with all different backgrounds who I am still in contact with today.

My 7-years-old son Louis has been going to the Rinsing Crane for about a year now. He absolutely loves his MMA courses. He has made a lot of progress and gained a lot of confidence. The coaches are fantastic. If your child wants to start martial arts the Rising Crane is an amazing place. I can't recommend it enough

A great place to learn many different styles of martial art. All the instructors here are highly skilled and very friendly you learn at your own pace with no pressure at all. For the mma sessions sparring is a core part of very lesson and once the techniques have been taught these can then be tried out, refined and honed. Rising Crane is an excellent place to learn with great facilities.

My two daughters have been training at rising crane for just over four years. They still enjoy their classes and have gained so much in confidence. The progression they have made with the teaching and support of all the coaches has been amazing! I myself joined just over a year ago and have loved all the classes I have participated in. Rising crane isn't like any other gym it's like the rising crane family!

As an older mum trying to get back to some kind of fitness, I was a little nervous about attending a brand new venue and class. I didn't need to worry, as felt a warm welcome as soon as I got there. Claire was wonderful and really made me feel at ease. I did my trial sessions (which I highly recommend as you can really get a feel for the classes) and have now signed up! I'm loving the Fighting Fit class, all the instructors and staff are friendly and helpful and I look forward to getting fitter.

Have been attending classes at the Rising Crane for just over a year now after needing to mix up my workout routine & make it more interesting/enjoyable. Best decision I made. While the facilities aren't the most flash, the classes are challenging, fun, teaching you new skills, excellent stress release amongst many other things. It's also a really friendly down to earth environment, which you don't always get in group training classes. All of the sessions I have attended (mma, fighting fit, strength & conditioning) cater to all fitness levels & the instructors have great martial arts knowledge/expertise. If you are interested in learning a martial art & are feeling nervous about trying it out, you don't need to be here. Even more experienced fighters in classes are patient & willing to share their skills. Whats more if you are coming to the RC you are supporting one of Bedfords smaller local businesses instead of giving your money to a big corporate gym who don't really care about their customers. Highly recommend giving it a go!

Great gym. Deep understanding on several Martial arts. All trainers are very skilled and experienced always willing to help and to share their knowledge with you. Atmosphere during trainings is good and safe for everyone. Training since one year ago here and planning to keep doing it so for as long as I can.

My two sons aged 5&10 are on their six week trial, we're coming to classes twice a week. Boys absolutely love it there! Excellent coaching crew, great environment and it is a great place to learn self-defence, self-discipline, build self-confidence and teamwork. Definitely going to sign the boys up full-time. I highly recommend this place for anyone!

Welcome to Penarth David … I’m so pleased that you’re here & by chance I heard of your classes. And I’m so glad that I signed up for Tai Chi & Kung Fu classes - both really enjoyable & great for my fitness, joints & brain! Your teaching style is very clear & helpful - I feel I’m making good progress and will be signing up today for both classes in the New Year.
