A Great & Friendly Place Where They Have Fixed Many Of My Great Clothing That Have Been Ripped. In A Quick Time Aswell. Highly Recommend This Place To Others Who Have Damaged Items.

I have used the zip yard serval times in my life and I always go back. The staff are friendly and professional and the prices are really reasonable for the services they offer. Also they do offer dry cleaning as a service, which not all don't. Overall would recommend over any others.

Great service, even though the covid regulations have been relaxed I did feel a little aprensive about going into a shop. But I needn't have. The staff were very much still in full mask and visors where possible and the service felt very professional with the changing booth (fitting room) being sanitised between each client. The workmanship as you would expect was beautifully done and very quickly too. Great service I'm sure I'll return! (either that or just start buying clothes the right size!!)

My 'go to' for all things! Fantastic highly skilled team producing immaculate work replacing double sided zips on my riding jackets and a pair of leather half chaps, plus repairing interior pockets and linings, alterations to clothes. Went in to discuss some alterations on a dress that had some faulty stitching around the zip. I was told there was nothing could be done by the seamstress. Now considering the website boasts quite impressive repairs. I felt a little disappointed at this response. The woman who welcomed me into the shop however, was very friendly.

I took a suit in last week for alterations to trousers and jacket sleeve length. The seamstress "measured" up, which involved her showing very little intrest in my request or questions, sticking pins in and then walking off. The suit was ready sooner than expected, went to collect , tried it on, .. the trousers are still too long and will need doing again. The jacket sleeves are about ok, and they did move the buttons up, however the 4 buttons are noticeably unaligned. Again, I will have to bring somewhere to get that fixed. I needed the suit that same week, so could not leave it with them to sort it out. A low standard of work. £60 wasted, will not use them again. Sorry but not what I hoped for.

The zipyard literally saved my daughters wedding day which is in 2 weeks! The previous seamstress we used basically did an awful job of the alternations to my daughters wedding dress . With a few weeks leading to the wedding you can imagine the stress it caused . We brought the dress into the zipyard and within a week the dress was ready and all the alternations were perfect . now my daughter can wear her dress without any worries . Thank you so much!

Took a pair of jeans in for alterations, and I was able to collect less than 3 hours later. Tried on when I got home & they fit perfectly. Superb service.

Good evening to you. I’ve popped in the other day and needed two pairs of trousers altering as I had gained a few pounds in the wrong places. A warm welcome awaited very professional front of house service. I can see a team of eight ladies at the back all working very busily The job was completed in under two hours and the alterations were absolutely perfect. Excellent service, I had 3 pairs of jeans altered. These were ready incredibly quickly, also they were done to a great standard, cannot recommend enough.

Took my favourite pair of cargo shorts in after the zip broke. They did an excellent job of replacing it with a new one. Much cheaper than replacing the shorts which were otherwise in good condition still.

I took 2 suits in for alterations, in all honesty i was far from happy when i took them home to find the alterations to be poor at best, i took both suits back and explained what had happened, the lovely lady behind the counter assured me she would sort it out, she did within 24 hours, i am now over the moon, alls well that ends well Tom

I had ripped my favorite jeans a while back now and thought they were unsalvageable because of the placement of the rip but I thought it might be worth asking in case it was possible to fix it. Not only was it fixable but at a price better than I thought it would be! The staff were really lovely and got it back to me in record time I'm extremely impressed. Staff always friendly and welcoming, service and quality of the work done is excellent. Have taken quite a few items in over the years and never had any reason to complain. Even took a dust bag from a garden vax in, and they put a new zip in.

Called up 20 minutes before they closed on a Wednesday asking if it was possible to get a pair of jeans and a jumpsuit shortened for the upcoming Saturday, assuming that was unrealistic - they said that was more than easy to do, which I was already impressed with. Then got a text the next day, less than 24 hours later saying they are both ready to collect!! Always impressed with the service, the staff and the efficiency! Thanks again guys 🥰

Repairs to four pairs of jeans beautifully executed at a fair price. I was ready to bin them but thought I'll take a chance and see if they were salvageable. To my delight they were! Thanks Zip Yard for saving me a few hundred pounds by not having to purchase new Levi jeans. Would highly recommend The Zip Yard.

What an amazing service. Took a pair of jeans in to have a new rivet attached. Was able to complete the job whilst I waited and provided a first class result.
