What an amazing venue! We had the pleasure of playing here last weekend for a lovely couples wedding. Special mention to Sam who has been very helpful with a couple of things post event. Highly recommended!

We recently had our wedding at Left Bank, and 5 stars doesn't feel like enough. Not only is it just THE most beautiful venue (our guests couldn't get over it!) but Sam and the team are just beyond words. They were there to help at every stage, suggesting suppliers and giving general advice on top of helping with more venue-specific things. They did all the set-up, all the take-down, they were so accommodating to every request, and so friendly and welcoming at every point in the planning process. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day because we just knew, and could fully trust the team to take care of everything. Everyone we've spoken to and every member of staff we've dealt with has been a delight and so happy to help, we genuinely don't have a single spot of negative feedback. It also feels so special that Left Bank isn't just a wedding venue, so we can return as much as we like for drinks or events and re-live our day. Thank you to the entire team (and especially Sam) for making our day a reality. You're all the absolute best!

Went for a covid-safe market. The lawn outside now has seating areas where you can scan a QR code to order from the cafe inside. There's food trucks outside that serve a nice meal. When it rains, they put up a tarp so you're weather safe as. Would definitely go back again!

An incredible space run by a wonderful team. Comfy chairs in the cafe, great DJ at the recent disco night and a thriving community of creatives. Highly recommended for events, hire or chilling in the cafe.

A lovely converted church in Burley. From the moment you walk in the door, the friendly inclusive, space welcomes you. My friends and I went to see a poetry reading and interview. We settled down on one of their bench-style seats. There was a charming bar-café area. My friends had coffee and tea, and I had a ginger ale, all really nice. We were all set for the event which captivated our attention and took us into the world of the writer. It was raining outside but that didn’t matter. We had something different from the usual Saturday afternoon to add some discussion and thoughtfulness to our day.

A beautiful community space, vorgeous looking but it's what it does and represents that shows its true beauty! A real community place with so many varied events hosted here, it's a fantastic asset to the community, I only wish there more places like this.

Wedding fair put on by local company. We travelled 200 miles to exhibit here and it was easy to find, loading and uploading was easy and plenty of nearby parking although none on site. @sevencrowscc

Great little party today, the kids loved it! What an amazing space this is. Almost cathedral sized inside, brews it's own beer, what's not to like?

Big venue in a beautifully converted church with all sorts of events. We saw a brilliant cabaret (Man of a 1000 farces). Will definitely try to come here more.

This is a wonderful space used to great advantage. We had to a coffee and cake and enjoyed the art work on display and the items for sale. We were able to have vegan coffee as there were milk alternatives and there were vegan cake also. Very accessible for anyone with mobility considerations and the staff were lovely. Definitely work a visit

Shak the bouncer has been one of the friendliest. I came here for a ball and he not only made me feel safe but also gave me a great chat and has been a thoroughly interesting chap! He is a credit to protect security firm and ally university friends felt safe and secure under him! He is one of the best bouncers I’ve ever experienced, and I will definitely be coming back!

Left bank was the perfect venue to hold our Bite Of Leeds, Food & Arts Market in aid of Crohn's and Colitis a few weekends ago. The staff were lovely. The ambience was beautiful.

I visited for the halloween bingo night recently, which was so fun! The staff were brilliant and the venue is lovely! The only thing I would say could be improved is the bathroom(s), size wise the one nearer the bar could be accessible to some (manual) wheelchair users if the door were changed to either sliding or outward facing. Absolutely would recommend, however if you do need an accessible bathroom do be aware there is not one, but you can access the building as there is a permanent ramp to get inside.

My favourite study spot in Leeds, with the friendliest staff, a wonderful atmosphere and a welcoming sense of community. Great range of food and drinks available.

This venue is so special and unique. I conducted a wedding ceremony here in November 2023 and it provided the perfect setting with a perfect blend of the traditional and the alternative. The staff couldn't have been more helpful to ensure the ceremony went smoothly and everyone had a great time. I hope to be back soon!

Really atmospheric place to have a drink and really easy going, my parents could have a coffee and I could have half a larger so really nice selection of drink choices and seating withe in or outside. We enjoyed using the free ping pong as well as last time we went it was to see a giant inflatable sculpture so I hadn't seen the full room before. I like it because it's not pretentious and there's also a good selection of books in the mini library outside in the garden. Many thanks.

Beautiful venue with a small cafe with veggie/ vegan options. The food is quite simple, I enjoyed the tofu bagel. They do a pay as you feel option which was soup when I visited. They do barista style hot drinks with alternative milk options available. The service and food was quite slow, the soup took over half an hour. Staff very friendly.

If you are looking for a quirky, fun place to host your wedding day, without missing out on the grandeur of a beautiful old building - Look no further. Left Bank Leeds is super special and a real hidden gem IMO. I conducted a wedding there (as a celebrant) this summer, and I was blown away by how fab this place is! The staff team are warm and welcoming, and the vibe was so laidback and relaxed for guests. The best combo for a wedding! I can't wait to come back soon!

Good looking venue friendly staff and I appreciate all the work they do for the local community but can't give them 5stars as they should stop making teas and coffees during gigs. I mean who needs a cappuccino at 8pm during the concert? To many as it seems. At a quiet piano session you could hear coffee machine louder than music. Sorry to say this but not going there for a gig any time soon.

Great, beautiful venue, offering a wide range of events, including concerts, exhibitions or parties. It's well worth keeping up to date with what's on as everyone can find something for themselves.

Left bank Leeds is a great community hub and arts space in the heart of Leeds student area. It is set in a stunning old church that is simply an amazing space. There are lots of different things going on there that changes all the time. I really enjoyed the current monsters exhibition and the poetry open mic night

It was absolutely amazing. This was a present for my 31st birthday and it was breathtakingly beautiful. I attended with my fiance & parents and both me and my dad were in tears. Thank you for such a special evening ❤️
