😠 Came on a Saturday before 1pm, around 11:40-12 to speak and I explained that in my hometown the store is opened 9-5 every day except Saturdays or Sundays which are always closed, I explained that I work 9-5 and can't possibly get in hence why I've come to this branch in another city and he just said...     Came on a Saturday before 1pm, around 11:40-12 to speak and I explained that in my hometown the store is opened 9-5 every day except Saturdays or Sundays which are always closed, I explained that I work 9-5 and can't possibly get in hence why I've come to this branch in another city and he just said, we're closing soon and you'll have to come back before 5? He completely ignored what I said and practically refused to help me... Disappointed.

    The worst service I've seen in my life for a bank, when I apply online no one replies no one calls, when I requested a call back, no one called. Last time I went to the bank to ask for help a year ago, the man outside didn't even allowed me to enter the bank claiming appointments are all booked. How can someone open a bank account in this bank? HSBC in my home country is much better than the UK, here it's an absolute joke, there's a website and people working, but you can't achieve anything, in the live chat they only give you links and numbers which no one EVER Pick up the call. Recently what I've been trying is to open a business account, I didn't go to the branch as last time they didn't allow me to enter without appointment, now I'm trying to reach out to anyone who can help through live chat (didn't work as they only give link and number), then when I call the numbers (they don't pick up), I can't tell anymore if it's a reliable bank in the UK.

    Shocking service. 1254 on Saturday and there's a queue 5 deep for the cash paying in machine. The female staff member asked what I wanted and when I said to pay in she said, the machines are really slow and we're stopping people joining the queue as we close at 1pm. Then told me I could go to the post office until 5. Kicked out of a BANK when I wanted to pay money in because the jobs worth didn't want to stay (potentially) until gone 1pm. If I can't stay to pay money on, what is the point of the bank?!?!

    The bank states to be cooperative and all the mentioned reviews above are totaly fake. I have tried to contact this bank 3 times to report unrecognised withdrawls from my account but have not been served yet. Every time I call ther agent places me oh hold and there is no response even after 1 hour of myself waiting. On my second call to the bank a lady took my details and guarenteed me that someone will be giving me a call the next day to follow up the fraud however no one got back to me. It's been more than 15 days I am trying to follow up and resolve the unknown transactions but hola! this bank is not at all cooperative to customers in any means.

    Terrable city centre flagship branch. After queuing 15 mins to pay cash in at the cashier I was told they didn't use them paying in slips anymore so I would have to move away and complete a new one so I went to my local post office where the cash was deposited in my account in seconds. So the post office it is from now on as my banking not very helpful

    Appalling service. Spent half an hour waiting for my money to be retrieved from the useless automatic pay in machine, then half an hour queuing to pay in with a cashier. Abismal!

    I recently had the pleasure of visiting the HSBC branch in Leeds, City Centre, UK, and I must say, the service I received was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff member who instantly made me feel at ease. The branch itself was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere for my banking needs. The staff at HSBC Leeds are truly exceptional. They go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I was impressed by their knowledge and expertise, as they were able to answer all my questions and assist me with my banking requirements . What impressed me the most was the speed at which they provided support. Whether it was with a transaction, setting up a new account, or resolving a problem, the staff members were efficient and reliable. The tellers at HSBC Leeds are not only fast but also extremely helpful. Although I have had some issues and concerns with HSBC as a bank in general, but in this case I am reviewing the branch itself..Despite any issues you may have with the bank as a whole, the Leeds branch is a good example of exceptional customer service and professionalism. In conclusion, if you are looking for a branch with great service, helpful staff, and fast, efficient support, I highly recommend visiting HSBC Leeds city center.

    Had to queue 10 mins to enter in to the bank. Staff had to make a copy of an id proof and upload it in to the online account. Expected wait time is 2 hours. Because it is Monday. Can we make an appointment? Sorry we are a walk in branch. This is in 2022. All appreciations to the person in charge.

    Google should have a 0 star option to rate this bank. I am an international student that recently moved to the U.K., the bank has false online information regarding the documents accepted from international students to open a new bank account. Later on, when I got them all the documents they previously asked for, they still rejected opening me a bank account (although I had all the documents they asked for). They asked me if I had a bank account with a different bank, and I said yes but not an "international student bank account"... The teller told me, no you're not even elligible for that because you haven't been residing in the UK for the past 3 years. That IS NOT WHAT IT SAYS on their website!! Why are they just being unhelpful, I do not understand! If you're an international student don't go there! Stick to Lloyds or Barclays unless HSBC changes staff and they become professional...

    Went in to make a joint account with my partner, the staff were all really helpful, We were assisted by Halima during our application, she was very attentive, helpful and insightful with our application questions, she made the experience quite delightful and easy to get through.

    Complete waste of time..... This review relates to HSBC telephone help service. I later resolved my issue by paying £5 in bus fare and going to Park Row. I hope the CEO is enjoying his bonus for shutting down Headingley branch

    100 times better then the Natwest branch opened infront of hsbc from the perspective of account opening and staff behaviour. Account opened without any hassle where i wasted 1 week with natwest and they did not open so hsbc in short is better in that terms

    Always had a great experience with this branch of HSBC, particularly with Anita who has been helpful to me on so many occasions. I wouldn't think about changing who I'm banking with thanks to the quality of the people I dealt with.

    The employes are so helpful from the entrance that you won't feel helpless. They are even following social distance norms in pandemic. Their service is so fast and easy to use. Behaviour of everyone inside is very helpful and genuine. I am happy that I have recently opened my account in such a prominent and helpful bank. Thank you HSBC.
