As someone from China, Guangdong Province, this restaurant has very authentic BBQ pork. And it's cheap and affordable at less than £9, each portion is huge and the Chiu Chow noodle fruit has a taste of home, even though it's £4.50.

Such good value for money. The portions are huge and the food is so delicious. This is the best char siu pork I’ve ever eaten and I think I paid about £20

Incredible food with amazing price. You need to try their Cha Siu, one of the best thing everr. Also pork ribs is a must try and their ducks are amazing as well. Personally think that the noodles is a bit too greasy

To protect the authentic tradition, please stop putting this into your menu because it's NOT Hong Kong Style Milk Tea.

Love this place! We had the mixed meat with rice and eggs as our main and the pork and prawn dumplings as a starter. I'm not sure what the green dressing was on the counter, I think it was garlic and spring onion, but it was punchy, fresh and delicious.

Always come and get the egg and beef crispy rice, pretty authentic Cantonese style food. Roast duck is also good. Good value for money but CASH ONLY. Would recommend

Visited here for the first time for lunch the other day. I must say it’s become one of my favourite lunch places, as it serves my favourite dish “3 roasties and rice”. The meat was moist with a generous portion size given the price is at least 50% more in other nearby restaurants. Although, they do only take cash, which is a bit inconvenient, but I think there’s an ATM nearby. I’d highly recommend here as a quick lunch whilst doing your shop around the market. I forgot to take photos as I’d finished the food too quickly!

Ordered 3 Roast Meat through a delivery. The food is in a mess and cold upon arrival. When I complained at the restaurant I was told to accept it and warm it up in a microwave. So, if you were to deliver a pizza, I were to microwave it too? Poor quality, display and customer service experience.

Very good Cantonese style BBQ. The food made me feel like being in HK. Good portion size for the price paid. Don't think there is any better place for lunch. 😋

Amazing selection of authentic cantonese food and good sized portions! Steamed Buns were easily the best I've had in Leeds and the Char Sui Pork was excellent! 100% will be returning!

Always a 5 star for food at maxis, 6 years in never disappointed. Quality and price still 👌🏼 👏🏻 Service is quick and choppy, expected from a busy place Still like the fact that you can sit just outside the restaurant to have food

Not easy to locate the restaurant. Food was ok.

You simply have to eat here. The staff are lovely, the food is gorgeous. Because its a little place in the markets it can be a little cold when the market itself is freezing but even then its still well worth calling in. Just call in, sit down, ad ire the huge carved wall art and realise this is a little oasis to relax in. You cannot go wrong

Just delicious food. No frills, just extremely tasty. Good place for a very high quality bite to eat rather than a big dining out experience. Very good value. Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called.

One of my favourite places to eat on earth. Incredible roast meats, perfect rice, huge portions and very modestly priced. A guaranteed stop off for me whenever I'm in Leeds.

⭐️Maxi's Rotisserie⭐️ is famous for its siumei rice and it's extremely popular among the locals and hk community in Leeds 👏🏻 i've ordered the charsiu & siuyuk rice (雙拼飯), and feeling kinda regret i didn't order the roasted duck as well!! 🤥 their charsiu is barbecued to perfection, the meat is well-flavoured with honey, really tender, and not overly oily 🐷 the siuyuk is 半肥瘦 (half fatty x half skinny), which is what i also prefer back home ❤️‍🔥 the skin is sooo crispy and goes well with the tender pork ✨ the portion's quite huge, so it's definitely satisfying if you're craving some flavours from hk 🇭🇰

Absolutely brilliant. Delicious roasted meats, with just the right amount of rice and vegetables. My favourite place to eat in Kirkgate, and there is strong competition.

I am this restaurant customer for almost two years. It was cheaper, but now the prices have been changed. I still like the beef brisket with flat noodles and it is irresistible to have this dish here every week. I also like roasted pork and ducks here. The mixed roasted with eggs and rice is good for value as well.
