Can't rate this place enough!! Located in one of Bolton oldest an iconic builds is Slaters means ware. With a Great friendly enviroment offering a wide selection of styles an designs, suited too all tastes. If ya simply searching for something smart for a night out or something more formal, from a black tie dinner suit too a wedding outfit. The staff are more than happy too assist, offing one to one service too help make your experience feel personal for your big occasion. They also offer a customer in house tailor service plus hire service for individuals or larger events.

Such a fantastic shop, the selection of fits, colours and patterns was amazing and the service was top notch. We were served by a lovely young lad called Ethan, and he was only 18 but had such an extensive knowledge and really make the experience super personal. The quality and fit of the suit we bought was incredible. We will be coming back in a couple of months for the next suit we want. Would highly recommend!

Shout out to Adam at Slater Menswear. Walked in needing to get suited and booted for a funeral, quickly. The store had everything I needed. Adam was patient and knowledgeable and as I know enough about the process. I left there with a fitted suit and a great pair of shoes which looked terrific on the day. I rarely feel compelled to write reviews but my visit there was a great experience. I'll definitely go back.

Went for a suit. On entry was greeted by a very nice man. Asked me how I was, what was a looking for. He asked me my price range then showed me the suit. He measured me up then made the alterations after trying it on. Suggested the shirt and tie, shoes. What a old traditional service, absolutely fantastic highly recommended.

I went to Slaters in Manchester to start with, but nothing really caught my eye, and it was quite busy, so was difficult to get assistance. My wife to be suggested we try the one near where she used to work in Bolton, and I'm so glad we went! We barely set foot inside when we were asked if we needed help, fella with a beard, wish I got his name 🙄 within about 20 mins I had the perfect 3 piece suit, shirt, tie & square, and a pair of shoes 👞 for less than £200, bloody legend, Even if I tried, I couldn't fault the service and the shop, totally recommended 👌

Very nice place for suits, came to the old branch years ago for a wedding, and come to the new branch now for another wedding, lost one star due to limited selection of suits, to say this store is now a bigger store they very little designs of suits.

We got the suit for the groom at Slater Bolton. Hannah & HK were really professional, attentive and friendly & between them both guided my partner and listened to my taste preferences very carefully. They have also got a wide range of shoes & ties to combine with the suits and shirts. Service absolutely brilliant really and loved the atmosphere at their boutique. Thanks guys for making things so easy and pleasant!

Good selection of men's suits and shoes near Bolton town centre,I escorted a friend to pick their wedding suit and there was enough to choose from and staff are helpful,we left happy with a full groom fit. Will return.

The staff at this store are very friendly and are exceptional at their job and always there for your needs and know exactly what you want, I feel put at ease when I walk in and are greeted with friendly faces.

Brillient place tgey care about there customers my son he has disabilitys complex needs needed a pair of trs but opted for there jeans my son was mesured and told relevent size to buy they were bob on even when we didnt have time said not got time get alterd now but only a bit in them but a lovetly guy called adam served us told us come back another day nothkng a problem to het them..alterd still after funeral caint fault place same help with shirt correct size walked out feeling that we were looked after

I have used this excellent gentleman's outfitters for 35 years and bought countless business suits over that period of time. Their personal service is legendary and second to none,it's like having your own dresser when you are choosing or buying any item of clothing or wish to acessorize your attire. Slaters have always stocked excellent quality products from renowned suppliers and branded names that will make you stand out from the crowd. Personally I would not shop anywhere else for all my clothing needs. Very highly recommended, there is also a free alteration service available.

i was in a rush to buy a wedding suit on sunday before the store shut down because i've got a week left to go for my sister's wedding. the gentleman kindly helped me to choose a suit he deemed suitable within 10-15 minutes. highly recommend this store

Great service as always. Really helpful when deciding on wedding suits and one that my 8 year old could also wear. Alterations done in house and the assistants are very knowledgeable about the suits, taking measurements, ect. Would definitely recommend for not just formal wear but any shirt, suit and shoes.

Absolutely brilliant If you need a suit then I wouldn't recommend anywhere else, the choice is enormous and the staff are extremely helpful, they will measure and do any alterations for free, great place to shop.

Always a good service, my husband buys suits from them. If you buy suits from them they will do alterations for free for 12 months. Before they used to do life time.

Great Experience!!! I've not worn a suit or formal shirt for well over 15 years(strictly a jeans and t-shirt guy) so I was a little apprehensive having to get measured for a suit etc, But with help of the Slaters team the whole process was Awesome and Easy. 5 Star Service!!!

Excellent service from Adam at Slater Bolton. I popped in with my groom and his best man to look at wedding suits and though my groom was a little anxious and not looking forward to the experience at all, Adam put him at ease immediately, gave expert advice, made us laugh and kept the whole thing light and zero pressure. Adam also managed to find matching suits that ticked all the boxes and fit nicely on 2 different sizes. The guys can't wait to get back and be fitted!

Really good experience in slaters today. The young man helping us was Harvey & he was friendly & great at putting us at ease and he was really knowledgeable. He helped us pick out a lovely, reasonable, well fitted suit, tie & shoes. Would highly recommend.

I've been to Slater's a few times to sort out kilts for my wedding and the staff have been nothing but helpful and lovely. They go above and beyond to support the customer and have apologised profusely for being only a little busy when we came in for a fitting. Highly recommend Slater's Bolton.

Staff were so helpful and I managed to get 3 piece suits 3 times, 3 shirts, 2 sets of shoes, 3 Ties, 3 pocket squares, cufflinks. And it was just so easy and and stress free. Il definitely be using them again. Best customer service in had.

Poor customer service. Nobody approached us even though the shop was very quiet after 5 minutes. Staff were not very welcoming when they did eventually approach. They weren't terrible but would be nice if they went an extra step.

As soon as we walked in Hannah came over and offered help. She was absolutely fantastic! Had a sense of humour, a sense of style, helped us find everything we needed and went above and beyond any customer service I have ever seen.

Walked in and was immediately welcomed to the store. Saw the suit I needed for sisters wedding and did measurements there and then and helped me pick out the perfect size,they have a variety in stock of colour and sizes too. All prices are very decent and worth every penny for the quality and brands. All in all would highly recommend anyone to buy their suits from here.

Great shop for menswear. They cover everything from casual to smart. My partner was sorted out with a full smart casual outfit for a wedding with the help of a lovely helpfull young man Ethan. Everything fit perfectly and all at a good price. Highly recommended. Really pleased with our purchases.

Fantastic service, suits were of excellent quality and reasonably priced , the customer service received from Adam Warburton and the Bolton team was of such high standards I went back after purchasing suits for groom and 6 members of the grooms party and purchased another suit along with 7 shirts an accessories. Slaters Please do acknowledge the staff at Bolton as they were the non-pushy sales style and advice is the reason I went back to purchase more items and would most definitely recommend to others .
