Clonard Monastery

👍👍 Amazing place! Overwhelming sense of peace. The shop is great for Mass Bouquets, lovely candles and little prayer cards. Just note the shop only accepts cash. Thank God for the Priests from Clonard!! They kept us all going through the worst of the pandemic when we couldn't get to Mass in person but... People often mention Clonard, Mass, lovely,

It's just the most wonderful church. Even mass on line is special. All the priests are so articulate. Their sermons are always inspiring. Thank you for Clonard

I've been here attending the 9 day novena. The Monastery and the Chapel are stunningly beautiful, the flowers were amazing. The service and singing were great. Although it was packed it wasn't stifling hot. I would advise anyone to see this wonderful place and it's for all religions.

Clonard Monestary is so beautiful and the redemptist fathers are so lovely. There is Sunday Mass and weekdays. Our Lady of Perpetual help Novena on Thursdays which is lovely. You can put in a request for a sick loved one or friend to be prayed for at the Novena. Everyone is most welcome and the Clonard community are such lovely people

Spiritual nourishment received after attending Novena. I like attending services at Clonard. Definitely a place that gives peace and belongingness. I will continue to attend. Especially Solemn Novena in June every year paying respect to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Amazing place on our doorstep 19 mins from city centre on glider bus route. Beautiful gilt mosaic s. We attended an Carol concert, was west end/carnegie hall standard, no kidding. So emotional too, covid standards adhered to very safe. Spiritual place any faith / all faiths.

Second visit, just felt a bit short changed, ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc but was encouraged to try Gavi, unpleasant, wine pairing was really not worth it, will think long about coming back, for £300 I expect a lot more

Beautiful monastery and we were lucky enough to have made the Clonard Novena too. Lucky to get seats although there seemed to be plenty. The volunteers were excellent in getting us seated and refreshed with a bottle of H2O.

The Jewel in the Crown for Belfast places of worship. We would recommend a visit to this wonderful building. Light a wee candle whilst you visit ❤️

A really nice piece of religious architecture that has some harrowing history behind it. This site was well known in the history of the troubles and is an important site to visit when in the area.

A rare place of tranquility where priests & parochial staff are actually welcoming. If all Catholic places of worship were so kindly and serene I'd probably start attending more... Sadly this is not always the case. Thank God for Clonard.
