Beautiful church. Mass was very beautiful and conducted with respect. Pamphlets are at the entrance to guide the congregation through the mass. Small giftshop at the entrance. Stained glass windows are pretty. Pews are wooden and old, a little rough on the knees. Confession is 30 minutes before each mass and the priest stays a little after the procession.

Very Spirit filled church. On weekdays there's Eucharistic adoration from 1130am. Those touched by the Lord can go for the Sacrament of reconciliation. Daily mass is at 1210pm. Fr Richards gives good homilies

We always visit St Wilfrid's, York every Sunday from 2018 till date (2022). There are 2 Masses offered on Sunday. 10.30 am (English) and 12pm (Sung Latin). One of the many beautiful churches in York with choir singing hyms beautifully. It is a must visit if you are in York.

What a gorgeous church and beautiful mass! Father Richard’s homily was so thoughtful and full of truth. We were just here on holiday, but how lucky the people of York are to have a place like this in their city! Highly recommend attending a service here at least once.

Traditional mass, with beautiful singing and Latin, lots of incense. Delightful change to normal mass but didn’t like the fact that the celebrants faced away from the body of the church for most of the mass.

Absolutely beautiful Catholic church in the centre of York situated near the Minster. My son got married here and we had a really lovely service, use of the upstairs room for a small reception and photos in the garden. Father Daniel was very kind and understanding as they were both a bit nervous. Thank you it was appreciated.

Visited as a bell ringer and was warmly welcomed. If you're in the area at 7pm on a Thursday evening do stop and listen to the bell practice. A wonderful English sound

Went to Confession and found the Priest really very rude indeed. Have never experienced this from a Priest hearing Confession at any other Catholic Church have been to. Won't be going back there again as it was a really horrible experience for me.

I always enjoy the Mass here. The Oratory has a sense of beauty and the supernatural that is lacking in so many Catholic communities today

Can't recommend attending a sung Latin mass on a Sunday enough. Real beauty.

This is a wonderful church, and Father Daniel is a wonderful Priest. My wife and I were married here in July 2023, and we could not have wished for a better service.

I enter Wednesday the 13th September to a lovely welcome from a Lady in the front porch area. Silent Prayer first which was very powerful for me. Confessions until 12md if you wanted. Then the meaningful and powerful Service at 12.10pm. I got a lot from it. 🙏

York is a beautiful walled city. Well worth a visit.
