We walked into the shop just in time to see how the lemon meringue fudge was made. And, wow, what an experience!!! The smell of citrus filled the entire shop ❤️ We’ve got to taste freshly made fudge ❤️ and off course purchased some to take home 😊 keeping it in the fridge and only having a couple of small pieces with a cuppa tea, so it lasts longer 😊 We’ll definitely come by again next time we’re in York ❤️❤️❤️

I love fudge and i’ve tried a LOT so when I say Fudge Kitchen has the best i’ve ever tasted, it really is. We got the chocolate swirl and dark chocolate and sea salt. It was amazing. crunchy on the inside and smooth on the inside which melts in your mouth. It’s proper special.

One of our first stops on our little visit to York, and probably one of the best. My partner and I both say this is the best fudge we have had in our lives. My claim is for the vegan fudges, and my partner said that both the dairy and vegan versions were excellent. They are very smooth and creamy, the non-chocolate ones almost seem to melt after getting through the exterior of each slice. We tried a variety of flavours including vanillas, butterscotch and chocolate. We loved them all. Thank you! :)

Delicious fudge and in the back you can watch the fudge being made. 1 worker i talked with has been there for 37 years and the fudge she makes was very tasty! Many flavors. Many fudge shops make fudge, but this shop makes great fudge. Come here for friendly service and a delicious snack. Real cool place that has been making fudge for years, since they were taught by some people from Mackinaw Island, Michigan.

A lovely experience, was able to try the fudge prior to buying. Everything is made fresh and onsite. Such a fantastic inspiring selection of fudges. Do great deals on multiple purchases and all packaged perfectly for gifting. Special mention for Nathan, who is not only passionate about making fudge but has excellent customer service and is an asset to Fudge Kitchen.

We were just walking past today, looking in the window and noticed the guy behind the counter with a huge smile and a sign that read free fudge tasting. We had to walk inside, awesome guy serving, didn't catch his name, but based on the chat and good vibes and tasting some amazing fudge, we walked out with 3 different bars and brought them home. Would definitely recommend if you are in York.

We were recommended this place from a young lady who worked in the shop that must not be named in the shambles. Was so pleased we followed her advice. The staff were friendly and helpful and the fudge is delicious

Gorgeous hand made fudge cooked right in front of you. The fudge makers are happy to chat about the process of making the fudge and offer free samples. Flavours change regularly and are absolutely delicious. Go visit, you won't regret it.

Amazing service....I was lured in with free tasters and a friendly smile!! Unreal, insanely good, melt in the mouth, must try fudge!! Never tasted anything so good....this fudge should be one of the 7 wonders of the world , or at least on your bucket list. ✌️❤️

Haven’t had fudge kitchen before but my parents went to York and brought me some back and oh wow!! It is absolutely delicious, the best fudge I have ever had in my life! My favourite out of the selection would have to be sea salted caramel sooo good! Can’t wait to get some more at some point (hopefully sooner rather than later haha) highly recommend, you need to go! If you love fudge this is the place for you.

Dog friendly when you stand by doorway which was a great help! Fudge was very tasty and original, usually have samples for you to try.

We visited and tried the salted chocolate fudge which was amazing. We got a slice of that along with butterscotch and also lemon. All taste perfect and I've never had fudge like it before. They describe some as having a harder shell and then a gooey centre which was the consistency of our lemon slice, it is soooo good and the lemon taste is perfect. The butterscotch slice wasn't my cup of tea but my wife loved it. And the salted chocolate fudge... holy moly! Next time I'm in York, I'll be getting 3 slices just for me.

Such a great place, loved watching the fudge being made in the back room. The fudge is the best I have ever tasted, it is so creamy and melts in your mouth. The man behind the counter was very friendly and let us try different flavours before we bought some. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The most silky-smooth fudge I’ve ever eaten!! Had to by the butterscotch after having a taster. We also tried another fudge shop nearby and this one was BY FAR much tastier. Highly recommend visiting the Fudge Kitchen if you’re in York 😄

Bought some fudge for friends and family during a quick trip to York. Customer service was excellent and had a number of delicious tasters to help make a very hard choice slightly easier. The fudge was so delicious that I had to buy some more online when I got home. This could turn into an obsession!

My partner brought me home 3 pieces of fudge in a fancy box. I was shocked when she told me the price. It’s nothing special. I have had tastier fudge out of a packet from Iceland!

Popped in on a whim and purchased a box of fudge as a gift. The chap who served us was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable and the free samples I tried were sublime. I found resisting the urge to eat the fudge gift incredibly difficult.

I came to York today with a friend, walked past this fudge shop and was welcomed inside the try a sample by a really lovely lady. The fudge was lovely, it is quite creamy and not grainy like fudge normally is (I don’t like grainy fudge). And I bought a few pieces :) Lovely welcoming and helpful staff and a variety of different tasting fudge. I would recommend :D

Nice fudge and a good selection. They make the fudge in the shop as well so you can watch them making it. We got 4 lots for £17 was nice but is quite gooey in the centre.

Tried a few samples here on Saturday and just had to treat myself to a box of 4 different flavours (not all for me but to share with a friend). We were so delighted with the exceptional quality of this fudge that I returned the next Monday to buy some more, this time a bigger box containing 6 different flavours. This puts other shop bought fudge to shame. It's more expensive yes, but you get what you pay for. Ron

I have a sweet tooth but I cannot eat this-it’s unbearably sweet and feel nauseous after 2 bites. The texture is not like a traditional fudge-it’s gooey and sticky and more like very soft almost liquid toffee. The best fudge I’ve ever had was in New Orleans which looked like fudge, tasted like fudge and was completely edible. Sorry fudge kitchen but this isn’t for me.
