For an animal lover this is such a wonderful place. Modern buildings, wonderful, knowledgeable staff who obviously love all their charges. Large indoor arena and comfortable outdoor yard. Lovely little gift shop with very reasonable prices. Cafe doing drinks and light snacks. Walked through the little memorial garden, very touching.

I’ve been to the donkey sanctuary 5 or 6 times due to having a girlfriend with an unhealthy obsession with the animals. Thankfully, each visit is good fun and the staff are there to answer an questions should you have any. You’re free to stroke and donkeys to your heart’s content, the only payment is a packet of ginger nuts and a bag of carrots (and a donation of course!).

Just a lovely place to visit. Nice welcome on arrival. Donkeys are so happy there. I think they are as happy as the staff who are brill. Very knowledgeable too. I got an adoption as a present for Xmas for my partner. She loves donkeys & what a fab place to visit them. Even tea & cake was good. Keep up the good work. Thankyou.

Amazing place to spend time with a donkeys. You have to prebook your place. They have a baby change and toilets. Free car park. Cafe and shop. It’s not a big area so it’s only spend time with a donkeys and a little beautiful garden. Which can take up to 30 mins and you can go to enjoy a coffee or tea with a cake

Lots of donkeys to view, friendly staff, nice tearoom and gift shop. Dog friendly for well behaved dogs on leads. Donkeys to adopt and foster.

What a lovely place. Staff/volunteers are very passionate in what they do. They could not do enough to ensure visitors had not only a lovely, but highly enjoyable experience. It was lovely experience to visit Theo, the donkey we sponsor. Will be visiting again.

A well run sanctuary for rescued donkeys. The animals look well fed and staff respect the individuality of each animal. My only criticism is there isn't any vegan option at their cafe.

I sponsor a donkey for my mum and brought her to visit him and the other donkeys. Lovely place with very welcoming and knowledgeable staff. My mum has difficulty walking and standing for long periods and the staff couldn't help enough. The little cafe and gift shop too! 10/10

A great couple of hours spent with some lovely donkeys. All the staff were lovely and were on hand to answer any questions. All the staff genuinely love donkeys and it was nice to see rescued donkeys getting the life that they deserve!

Visited today as I'm running the marathon for the charity next year. Lovely visit with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of opportunities to stroke the donkeys. Nice cafΓ© that accepts cash and card. Feeding time is as 2:30 so you can see them all run into the field for carrots which is lovely. Would highly recommend!

Very nice place, lovely that the donkeys get to relax and have a fun, safe home. We especially liked Harbin, a very handsome and friendly donkey.
