Held my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding reception at Rownhams House on 16th July. An absolutely beautiful venue. Everything was perfect. Nigel and Helen were so helpful with the preparations and their guidance and tips were invaluable. We really couldn’t have choose anywhere better for such a special day and we have had so many of our guests compliment us on the venue

We recently got married at Rownhams House. It is such a beautiful venue. Both indoors and outdoors are absolutely stunning and the guests at our wedding were full of compliments for it! Nigel and Helen run the house and are such kind, thoughtful and helpful people. They made sure our wedding day ran perfectly because they were so organised. It was seamless! Again, all the guests commented on this. Throughout the planning period they were always on the end of the phone/email if we needed them and no question/ask was too big. Thank you so much for such an incredible day!

I honestly don’t know what to say, Helen and Nigel were absolutely incredible from the very first time I contacted them to the day itself. They think of every last thing and their can do attitude helps to make all your dreams a reality. My grandad, who was walking me down the aisle, was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer and when I contacted them one Saturday asking if there was any chance he could visit so he knew what he was working towards they didn’t think twice before making it happen. It meant the world to me, and it was this type of attitude that was carried through the entire year of planning and during the wedding day. I genuinely could not rate them highly enough, if I could give them 100 stars I would! We visited some venues that felt just like wedding factories. Rownhams house couldn’t be more different from that. If you are a looking for a wedding venue that has the extravagant feel of downtown abbey with the homely and warm feeling of home, this is absolutely the venue for you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us to create our dream day 💛💛

Had an amazing experience at my Sons wedding! Nigel and Helen were totally fabulous! They were completely focused on making the bride and grooms day a great one nothing was too much trouble! The grounds are fantastic, a wonderful place for children to run and play cannot reccomend this wedding venue highly enough!!!!! Thank you Nigel and Helen x

We recently got married at Rownhams House. It is such a beautiful venue with so much space. Nigel and Helen were absolutely amazing! Super helpful, lovely and were always on hand for any questions. On the day itself they were brilliant and they helped run the day and it went very smoothly. Would 100% recommend this venue.

We chose Rownhams for out wedding in December '23 and it was such an easy decision to make! Nigel and Helen are fantastic people who really want all their couples to have the most magical day, and the house and grounds are stunning. The whole process from going to view the venue right through until packing up the day after our wedding was just so very easy and felt comfortable.

I do a pilates class here and the room is great. Very spacious, high ceilings, nice and cool. Also used for weddings etc. Beautiful old house and features. Grounds, gardens are good too.

What a perfect venue! From the minute we saw it we knew it was the one for us. Then to make it even better you get the lovely Helen and Nigel to guide you through the whole process of having a wedding! From our initial meeting nothing has been too much trouble, with regular updates and helpful reminders throughout (we booked Rownhams House not far off 2 years before the wedding!) They are always happy to reply to emails or take phone calls and encourage you to put your own stamp on the venue for your wedding day. They make sure your wedding day is perfect and runs smoothly, keeping you in the loop but not troubling you with a thing. The venue itself is unique and charming with so many different parts to enjoy. Luckily the weather behaved itself so we were able to spend time in the beautiful grounds, but we wouldn’t have been worried if it hadn’t as the inside of the house is just as lovely. So many of our guests have commented on how they loved the venue and how the running of the day was relaxed and trouble free. There is so much more we could write about Rownhams House, thank you Nigel and Helen for helping to make our day perfect.

Just got back from a Sofar gig at Rownhams House, ashamed to say I had never been there before despite living 5 miles away. Fantastic venue and excellent service, wonderful setting for events.

Rownhams House was the venue for my Son’s wedding. A beautiful setting both inside and out for a special day and the hosts Helen and Nigel couldn’t do more for us. The day was perfect in every way and all the guests commented on how wonderful the place was.

After 2 covid cancellations we finally had our wedding at Rownhams House in April. We had the most fantastic day (despite the snow 🤣) the venue is absolutely beautiful and gives you a lot of freedom to make your wedding day very much your own. Nigel and Helen were amazing- so supportive throughout our various cancellations, and so helpful leading up to the day and on the day itself. Their experience really stands out and they help to make the day run smoothly. Thank you both so much.
