WOW!!! We absolutely loved Tarps, it was our 1st time trying authentic Filipino food and we were blown away with Tarps. We tried 5 dishes and all were amazing, but the best was the Lechon Kawali, we will be dreaming about that crispy pork belly was the stuff dreams are made off

I've been a few times now to try different dishes. Outstanding every time. Recently had the pork belly and I think that's my new favourite!

Just amazing, we happily bumped into this fabulous place when exploring Ashton market. We had a feeling someone had mentioned it in a positive way, the smells coming from the open kitchen were delicious and we were lucky enough to be passing when a table freed up. So the planets seemed to have aligned, and we were in for a treat. The authentic and most delicious Adobo chicken and the Tapsilog Beef were sublime. The service was nothing short of welcoming and can only be compared to being welcomed into someones home. Salamat, we will definitely be visiting again.

I saw many videos about how good this place was for food which gave me good expectations for the food. I went to this place on a chilly Saturday and it was so busy I couldn't sit in I had to order take out. They allowed me to place the order and return to pay. They also allowed me to pay by card as I was a little worried since it was an inside market place. What I ordered was tapsilog , picadillo and chicken Adobo. Regarding the food I had the chicken adobo first, it was so good I told my partner that I would give it a 9/10 and that I would live off this if I had the opportunity. The reason for the high rating is that when I ate it the chicken was soft and cooked just right and the rice was cooked to perfection. was so good, nice and delicious that I was considering to. My second one was the picadillo and what it contained was rice and philippino style chilli. When I ate it I felt like I was eating an alternative to chilli con carne which I LOVE. However, only because I had the famous adobo first I told my partner that I would give it an 8/10 only but it was very close. My final dish was the tapsilog, regarding this my partner told me something very interesting about this dish that it was considered to be an everyday breakfast and I was quite surprised. However, what it contained was a couple stripes of beef with some rice, a sunny side up egg and salad to top it off. When I ate it the food was good but I am a person that doesn't like dry food and when I saw it I thought it was dry but I gave it a chance and it was very good considering it didn't contain any sauce. Overall experience I would give it a 8/10

Great service very quick. Priced very reasonable decent amount of food. I think there could be more salad but it was very fresh a had flavour which you most certainly don't get often. Texture of chicken was different but very tasty as was the rice. I'll be back to try the spring rolls.

Very hard working family business who are so friendly, the food is on another level,been here many times and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal,never a grain of rice left,by far the best food place in the area, see you soon

Just had the incredible chicken adobo dish, recommended by the main man himself behind the counter - can’t wait to come back and try everything else!!!

Superb food at reasonable price will definitely return and highly recommend if you want to try Filipino food.

This place is nothing short of amazing! The food is delicious (we’ve tried every meal) and the service is second to none. It’s only Wednesday and I’ve already had it for lunch twice this week. The only negative for us, is that it isn’t in a shop that do take away in the evenings as we would definitely order EVERY week!
