My first time trying Venezuelan food and Oh.My.God! We tried the Arepas with Chicken and the mix of savoury with the sweet Plantain is just amazing. We ordered Tequeños which are to die for. It's a must try! 💯

Such a good Venezuelan place to eat. So filling and they have vegan and gluten free options. Chef was lovely! Only in Portsmouth for a day trip, and I loved arepas.

Amazing, loved the atmosphere, the music made me want to dance and put me in a happy mood. The staff were so sweet and welcoming, it was lovely to learn about their culture. Food was top notch, so fresh!!

A small and really nice Venezuelan family business. The food tasted really good and everything felt original. The place also had a clean and uplifting bright style I don't often come across in the UK. I would have hoped for the arepa (sandwich) and dessert to be a bit bigger though since I am a big eater.

We live in the local area and have walked pass on many occasion. We visited on Sunday. As we walked in we were greeted by a young and older woman both absolutely lovely, never eaten Venezuelan food before we asked for recommendations which they were only too happy to oblige. Ordered our food and found a table. Atmosphere was good, great Latin music playing in background. Food arrived, looked amazing and tasted excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant. The young lady who served us came over and asked whether our food was good, customer service excellent, she was happy to stay and talk about how they had set up the Restaurant and future ideas. A very enjoyable experience with delicious food.

Amazing food, service, staff, and atmosphere!!. As a Venezuelan, would 100% recommend to everyone that wants to have some quick and delicious food in Southsea. May no be the cheapest of options, but it's totally worth it 👌. I've probably eaten her over 20 times and it never disappoints 😬. Try it all; tequeños, empanadas, arepas... Honestly some of the most amazing food I have ever had. The staff are genuinely so friendly and the whole experiance was amazing! Please dont sleep on this place! They also do take away and delivery too.

I love this place! Proper homemade traditional arepas and yuca frita, everything is so tasty! Many delicious vegetarian and vegan options too. I go back time and time again and they maintain an excellent service - it’s just a lovely family business.

Just saw this bright new place opened up in Southsea. Very friendly service. We only dropped in for churros which were freshly fried and delicious. Menu looks interesting, with some Venezuelan soft drinks and beers on offer. Everything looks very clean and hygienic. We went back later in the week to try other things on the menu. We ordered the Caracas arepa, beef empanadas and a Frescolita soft drink. The food was filling and delicious, freshly made. The Frescolita is like an ice cream soda taste - we enjoyed it. We had to finish with churros. The place was busy with Spanish music playing. The lady who runs the front of house is super friendly.

I can honestly say this was the best food experience I’ve had in Portsmouth, the food was amazing, the staff lovely and helpful and the environment was superb. Me and my friends had the Caracas Arepas 1’s the beef empanadas and it tasted so good that we didn’t even talk, we couldn’t stop eating. Rosa, Daniel, and Alejandro were super friendly and lovely, we had a great time and we will definitely comeback :)

I have been in love with this place and their delicious Arepas since I first tried one from their pop up food stall in Southsea. I am so pleased to see they have now opened their own restaurant and they are such a great family and team, giving me such a warm welcome and fantastic service. I recommend this highly and wish them lots of success in the future.. I will always make a stop for a tasty Arepa from these guys every time I visit Southsea from now on.

I've only had delivery from this restaurant, but I can highly recommend the food! We've been waiting patiently for them to reopen during the recent casa move and were not disappointed! I've never had arepa before trying this place out, but it's a firm favourite food now 😋 I normally us get the pelua and avila arepas to share, both absolutely delicious, and the skin on fries are always perfectly cooked and seasoned. Portion sizes are surprisingly generous, by that I mean the arepa actually don't seem huge, but they're so filling that one is plenty! Gracias Arepa 2GO! ❤️

ESPECTACULAR!!! Flavours from South America finally arrived to Portsmouth. We had the CARACAS arepa which would be the most complete and latin arepa to try in here. Full of delicious ingredients such as slow cooked pulled beef, fried plantain (trust me, it’s amazing), beans in sauce and the green guasacaca sauce which is just a soft stroke to the tongue. The natural Juices made directly from the concentrate of the fruits, are amazing. Our new favourite flavour stop in Portsmouth 💜 Also, it is PET FRIENDLY which is amazing 🐶

The handmade green sauce is the soul, the corn pocket is crispy with a special aroma, first time to try Venezuelan food, and this is the best place in Portsmouth I would say!

These arepas are insane good, consistently, every time we order. We also always order yucas fritas and tequeños as they are to die for - The sauces that they come with are delicious. Oh and I love the cheesy empanadas! The team is super friendly too. I genuinely keep recommending Arepas2go to everyone. I’m Venezuelan and I’m so proud!

We just tried some vegan options from the menu and it all was so perfect! Very tasteful, it makes you full enough and all was so good combinations of all ingredients. Definitely must try! Guys are very polite and nice too. Thank you!

Amazing food and incredible service. Their food it’s tasty and great for a lunch of light dinner. The tequeños y empanadas are a delight! and the yuca frita will let you wanting more. If you are in Portsmouth, they are the place to go or have a take away.

No other venezuelan dishes taste quite as delicious as the food at arepa2go. I ordered an arepa, an empanada and some tequenos as well and I must say they were all incredible. You can tell they’re authentic by the flavors of the food they serve.

Great food at very reasonable prices. Brought a group of 11 hungry students who had never tried Venezuelan food, and they all really enjoyed it. The owners also gave us a treat at the end to enjoy. I will be back with other groups again in June.

We came from the north for a couple of days and found this Venezuelan place online, so we had to try it. It was amazing. We loved everything we had… tequeños were so good… the empanadas and the arepas were perfectly filled with more than we were expecting, even the portion of fries were so generous… and the owners were lovely We 100% recommend this place!
