Did some online research of where best to park the car as I would be visiting from along the M4 Motorway. Decided to park the car at Q-Park Chatham Place for my second COVID-19 vaccination which was now held at Broad Street Mall just a very short walking distance away, the process from entry to the car park to exiting was flawless using the tap and go contactless payment system (there is a video on their website on how this works). For a modern, secure, safe and clean car park would not hesitate to park here again for future visits.

Good car park which was well lit and easy to navigate. Simple to pay by card and got a 40% discount as a hotel guest. Could do with some security as I had to dodge some hooligans on the way out. It could've been better if I was able to speak to a staff member who could've given me a VAT receipt but to be fair when I requested one only it took less than 24 hours for them to email it to me.

It's a car park but probably the best one Reading has to offer. It's clean and easy to get around. It feels quite compact so there is little worry of looking around a large car park trying to find the car. I don't know how it compares in price but it seemed ok for the couple of hours we visited. As we came from the west it means you can park without having to use the IDR and avoid any troublesome traffic.

Secure, clean, well lit, and reasonably priced. The nicest car park I've used for a long time.

Booked in advance to see a show at the Hexagon. Felt safe and well lit at night. Is about 10-15mins walk to the Hexagon (less for the town centre shops) so do allow extra time, especially if going to see a show. I booked in advance & got a reduction on the carparking, as on the day carparking in Reading is expensive

This car park usually only has one of its two lifts working. Now neither work. It is a very tall multi storey car park with no working lifts. Be prepared for a long climb upstairs over the coming months.

I like this car park, not for everyone as it's not the cheapest, but lovely wide bays and there are usually spaces. Well lit, and feels secure. Lifts don't work very often, but the stairs give great exercise!

I was really impressed with this carpark. It looked very secure and I felt that my vehicle would be safe. I think the only thing that I would like to have seen more of is Blue Badge spaces near the lifts. Perhaps there are more in higher levels? If so I did not see any signs indicating this. I was fortunate to find a space near the lift but I could see this being an issue during peak times.

Easy to find, reasonably priced car park. Felt my car was safe as gated entrance.

Looking for an overnight parking space in Reading for Christmas eve! I decided to try the Chatham Place parking using their pre-booking service with VIP. Signposting excellent, entry is via an automatic opening security gate/door as you drive up to it, then once inside a normal ticket operated barrier system. I had been advised that my VIP (for a guaranteed parking space was on Level 1). Initially, a little confused as I could only see two spaces - but on exiting level 1 I realised that I was not in the 'VIP area' of Level 1 - my husband then moved the car to one of the empty VIP slots. Lots of parking room in the bay. The well signed lift (we had presents and suitcases) was clean, bright and worked well. On exiting the car park through a large locking door, we noticed a car park attendant booth, maned by a cheery man who happily responded with a welcoming smile acknowledgement of our presence - lovely, well done! Once outside the car park - you need your carpark ticket to get back in - so I would say we felt thoroughly confident with security and I would like to add, as a lone female would feel confident using this parking system. The one and only negative, was on 'paying' - we entered using our ticket (you get it back), inside we inserted into the pay machine - then you are advised to scan the bar code, on phone or printed out with pre-pay, luckily someone was paying at a neighbouring machine who suggested the 'red' glass screen above the pay slot not easily seen or referred to in the instructions - to be fair it was Christmas morning, so the carpark attendant was not in his booth, which is next to the payment machines. The exit was smooth - drive up to barrier, inset ticket and the doors magically open. All in all, an excellent experience, just be aware of the scanning process and it will be fine. Love the idea of the security and efficiency of booking on line. Will definitely use again, especially if I am alone. Thanks

Very nice parking garage. Very secure. Folding gates to get in. Not just a drop bar, but an actual gate that needs to open. Parking is a bit tight. You have to scan your parking ticket to get back in the facility, so don't forget it. Wasn't too expensive. Cheaper than the Oracle.

Good place with so many levels of car parking. Visited 2-3 times always had enough of spaces available. It is at the heart of town center so easy to park for any shopping, dining, movie etc., as parking space is a challenge for businesses. Price is also decent for 2 hours + it costed 5.4 pounds. There are lifts and steps for all levels not much queue while entering and exiting both times.

Clean and well-lit car park very close to the city centre. Metal gates close behind the car to keep out the passers-by. Drivers can only enter through reception, which is manned during the day. Prebooking gets you the best deals (e.g. 6pm to 2am for Β£4.50, or things like 'any three hours in the evening') and you can just pay the difference if you exceed the prebooked time. Hassle-free exit. There are extras like 'VIP' spaces (closer to the exit) and even a cancellation waiver.

Efficient way of parking. Excellent rates if you're staying at a local hotel. Minus 1 star as all the lifts were out of order when I went to leave, and I was parked on the 5th floor. Left suitcases and camera equipment downstairs and walked up.

Nice, clean safe parking, the only issue i had is that i couldn't scan my pre-booking ticket, so i ended up paying double the price when i left.

The car park is in a good location, the bays are a tad bit on the small side. plenty of lighting. You can pre book on line however the NPC readers were not working on our visit so had to use the help button on the barriers that take a little time to answer... this dose annoy other cars waiting behind you but there is no where to go to allow them to leave. we accidentally went the wrong way out of the carpark as was following exit signs on the ceiling but turned out to be showing how to exit on foot. this could have caused us to have an accident with another vehicle

Nice car park....but Β£42 for less than 48hr from Friday to Sunday it's a bit too expensive. It's not secured car park so price should reflect that.

Best car park in central Reading. Not the cheapest, but entirely secure & very clean. Also easy to use lift access.

I park here around 3 x a week. Love the Carpark, spaces are big & it’s clean. But there’s always a payment machine not working or a lift. The lifts were changed but there is alway one out of order. Recently they are both out of order all the time. This Carpark is not the cheapest to park at it, makes you wonder why there not spending some money on these items to get them to work all the time, it’s very frustrating

Fine for parking (expensive), but upon leaving the ticket machine did not accept my ticket. It took a long time to then find a member of staff to sort this out, and the member of staff told me two different costs for my parking plucked out of thin air! Their customer service are also clueless. I'd advise finding somewhere better to park nearby.

Safe and secure parking and convenient access to Reading Town Centre. Very wide parking bays and secure access so that only people with a car in the car park can get in to the building.

Since few months there customers lift is not working! They are a busy car park they should taking care of it, I was with my baby and needed to park my car in 6th floor, it is really difficult to go out and in with the stairs when you have a pram and baby, Apart from that it's a good place to park your car with no stress.

    - Broken door handle for the last 3 months on Level 2 very inconvenient for buggies and wheelchairs - Food and drink always spilled on the floor - No staff at the entrance desk EVER - Street drinkers / homeless people on the stairwells - Supervisor always intoxicated & aggressive to customers - Automatic doors always working late after 7am and closed before 7pm

🫀 How the hell do you review a car park ? Well you drive in, park your car, pay and go. Later on you come back and drive off. I could say the lines painted for the bays are of exceptional craftsmanship, but would you notice or care. It's a car park. Useful for parking cars and not much else.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Good Car park. 5-10 minute walk to the city centre. Costs about Β£11 to park all day. Not too busy if you get there early enough, although note it is pretty small so will fill up quickly. Also be aware that the spaces are quite short (see photos) so might not be suitable for all cars.
