Choosing WHICH of Ben's Cookies to scarf down on might be the hardest decision I made while vacationing in London! Since this was my first visit to Ben's Cookies, I chose what I felt was the most unique flavor (at least, it's a combination I'd never tried): Chocolate Chip and Ginger. I'm a big fan of ginger-accented teas, and figured I couldn't go wrong with a class cookie given a mature twist! These guys are worth their weight in pounds. I could *just* hold one comfortably in my hand. Thick, bigger than my palm, and perfect for sharing, these cookies arrive warm, gooey, and melt-in-your-mouth soft with the perfect firmness of outer crust. The chocolate tasted rich and dark with glistening smears of melting cocoa on the toasted-brown shell. The ginger, though, stole the show, giving a marvelous snap and sizzle of mild heat wave that danced over the tongue in a playful tango with the chocolate. I can't believe I've gone through life never having tried this combination before! Don't pass by Ben's Cookies, wherever you happen to find them... but few locations carry the atmosphere and charm of the Oxford Covered Market. Conveniently located next to many tourist spots, it's a must-stop dessert shop. Highly recommended!

The store is in the covered market. The cookies were very good and lived up to the hype. It is fairly expensive for cookies. Service was good and most of the flavours were available. The double choc as well as the choc and nuts were very good!

Some of the most delicious cookies I have had in my life! Many friends I brought over also echo this. The triple chocolate is definitely my favourite. Prices are quite high but it is worth it and you shouldn't be eating such decadent food all the time anyways. Highly recommend it!

Something changed, visited this location 4-5 years ago, it was an eye opening epiphany how good a cookie can be. Hot gooey goodness in a box. Now coming at 11 to get a fresh batch I'm surprised that they don't sell warm ones anymore, the chocolate never settles properly and the thing just disintegrates in your hand. Not sure if I just have an overly positive memory or if the recipe changed for the worse.

Undeniably the best cookies I have ever tried. They may seem a little pricey but are 100% worth it. The selection of flavours is great (although no coconut like other shops) and all are delicious! They are always amazingly gooey, especially when fresh out of the oven so keep an eye out for the newest batch. They can be a bit too sweet for some people, so maybe the oatmeal or peanut butter would be preferable here but otherwise I highly recommend the triple chocolate! Also a great vegan option

Okay so a bit of a ramble but well worth read. First off I'd seen this place on my first trip to Oxford but was to late to buy any cookies! So this time I did £1.80 for a gooey ooey cookie that I requested. The staff had a wonderful smile on her face and once I went to take a bit I dropped it! I dropped the whole lovely thing on the floor! Oh the shame... BUT she happily gave me another one! This time I actually got a bite! Honestly? It puts other cookies to shame, the dark chocolate cookie is amazing. The staff absolutely lovely and it had me and my partner coming back for a box! £9 for 5 (you get 2 extra free) I am in love and have found a new dessert/snack haven for an indulgent treat half the price of any cafe or bakery. They deserve praise and attention 👏

Bens cookies were incredible!! We got the bundle set with 6? And it was so nice to see you can get some extra for these bundles! Great to see vegan option and I love the chocolate orange and milk chocolate :) The gooiness is top notch and wanted to buy more after :) Highly recommend and will be coming back for sure :)

These are hands down the best cookies I've ever had! Slightly crispy on the outside; very chewy on the inside. I was with a small group so we purchased 5 cookies (plus 2 free) and all tried the different flavours. My favorite was dark chocolate and nut. They are a bit pricey, but 100% worth it.

Delicious and well-priced cookies. Highly recommend the triple chocolate cookie for that occasional sugar rush we all need :)

Loved the white choc cookies! A little different from your average cookie as it oozes melted chocolate from the centre. We arrived around 4pm and most of the flavours were sold out.

visited here today, arrived at 17:25 and was rudely told “we’re closed” with a dramatic slam of the shops shutters. i found this quite stunning as the couple in-front had just gotten their cookies. The tone was very blunt and cold, others outside the shop seemed in shock too by the girls attitude. She was ginger and looked about 30 years old. won’t be returning!!

Originated from here. One for 2.2 pound. So good. Unexpectedly it's soft inside. Triple chocolate chuck tastes like chocolate fudge. Love it.

I’m in shock by the customer service here. I didn’t get her name but the girl with red hair was extremely rude to me and my family. She did not use the cookie utensil when picking up our cookies and it did not help that she was clearly down with a cold. Amazing cookies but unpleasant girl

Really nice cookies. Overpriced for what they are but wasn't isn't at the minute. Definitely bigger than other places. Really nice when warm. Delivery option is a good option available, but just keep in mind some do always seem to turn up broken, which is a shame, but I guess it's difficult to for this not to happen when they are so soft amd gooey!

This was genuinely disappointing. We decided on a whim to go to Oxford to do 2 things; the Ashmolean Museum and Bens Cookies. We found Bens Cookies and there was another couple in front of us. Once we go to the front, the lady just looked at us and we gave our order. She turned the card machine to face is, put the cookies in their bags and turned her back. The price for 2 cookies was £4.40 so I was expecting good things. I asked for a chocolate chip cookie and I had a exactly 1 chocolate chip in the entire cookie. Although the cookie was warm, the dough was completely uncooked. I like a soft, gooey cookie but this was raw and I had to chuck it in the bin and it just tasted like raw flour. Would not recommend at all.

👍👍 My first visit to a Curzon Cinema, I like it, will return. The extra leg room in the seats are great and the fact you can have a drink in a glass (alcohol if you wish) and tea in a china cup. Little more expensive than other cinemas but you get a different experience. As this one is located in the W...
