Fantastic book shop brilliant range of fiction and manga and graphic novels, I was absolutely spoiled for choice and struggled to not spend a lot more money than I ended up doing The staff member working was incredibly friendly which was very welcome as I had been having a poor experience of Oxford up until that point! I look forward to visiting again if I ever come back to Oxford!

The shop was clean and modern. A large array of books. A great manga section and a board game section. Really nice print designs too. Unfortunately I didn’t buy anything because it was so expensive, much more than I thought it would be and I don’t think it’s worth it. The prints are of artwork you can find easily online. It was also extremely busy so I could hardly look at anything or squeeze past people.

4.7/5 (cannot actually put this rating, so 5) Really nice shop with great graphic novels, comics, mangas, board games and equipment for it. Staff is also kind and can help you to find something for you, because they read at least some of the books Not exactly 5, because most of the products are expensive for average reader. It’s a big problem for everyone, just wanted to mention it In the end, very good place to find something good

Amazing selection of art and poster available in one shop. So many things to look at. Also, good selection of games and collectibles too. The staff was friendly and very informative. Great place to buy friends and family presents for that special occasion or treat yourself to something special to hang up in your home. Note - can get a bit busy at times.

I love arts, this place is a lovely store to stop by. Loads of books, comics, arts, posters, games and some cards. Things that you can decorate for your room 😉 Love the feeling being surrounded by the items in the store!

I had initially been stumbling around the other Blackwell’s bookshop looking for the fantasy and sci-fi section only to find out that it had been moved to this store. While at first this seemed odd, in the end I think my experience was greatly improved. The staff are passionate about this genre and can provide you with a number of excellent recommendations tailored to whatever you’re looking for! I don’t think I would have been able to receive the same level of service in a more general bookshop.

An excellent shop full of posters, cards and other memorabilia. Things to suit all tastes. If you are in the area it's well worth a visit.

To be honest, I was disappointed. I had come here expecting a huge range of manga. It even had "Manga" emblazoned over one of the shop windows. It does have manga, sure. But it's just a small corner. The shop is nice enough, but not what it made itself out to be.

Visiting from the US and this store peaked my curiosity as I was walking down the street! It was well organized, clean, and had my kind of books. I love manga and nowadays fantasy, so there was so much to choose from. I am not sure about the other reviews saying that prices were too high; trust me they were very fair! It is much more expensive to get such books and prints in the US! The staff was also very friendly! Pokemon cards are also sold here. There was one kid trying to pick a pack and the saleman was very patient. :) Bought a book to read on my trip and it kept me good company. Will definitely be back when I come back to Oxford!

If you're a fan of manga, graphic novels, poster art, and sci-fi / fantasy books you won't leave empty handed. Friendly staff and it's easy to spend hours just browsing their collection.

Best place for manga, art books and sci-fi in Oxford for sure. The layout is lovely and the staff are always friendly and approachable. Buying books here feels like an experience just like in the "main" shop across the road.
